That's actually amazing as I enjoyed the show myself when it aired and not having any of the generic shit to compare to that's happened over the past decade for the harem genre.hizachan wrote:

The worst anime? Honestly I thought it was very enjoyable, interesting and unique plot with great animation quality, stellar soundtrack and really likeable and relatable characters. Yes, drama was a little *forced* and the anime was probably made to make people cry but I don't think that necessarily makes it a bad anime. That's just my opinion though, everybody's entitled to their own of course. ^^Sync wrote:

Season 1 was pretty good.....As for Ano Hana, I found it pretty good. Actually, I found the ending to be pretty complete and well-rounded. But that's personal opinion of course. Anways I hate dubbed anime or the animes they play on TV (I used to love them as a kid but now they're just too cheesy). Apart from that, the only other anime I've strongly disapproved of would be Air Gear, the manga was going good, but the anime pretty much ruined it for me.

FT is good for those who likes to see ecchi every fucking where and in every chapter. That thing doesn't even have a story, the characters are dull, the protagonist is a worse version of Luffy and have I mentioned the pointless ecchi?

Well, that's true. I suppose the characters need extreme re-design. But... nevermind. It really doesn't have a story (though they had a purpose once, IDK where it is now.). Not every character I consider dull, but some of them is. And with the 2nd Season up, I began to view it like a kid's show (which actually is, but I didn't see it in the first season).Mantiz wrote:

I'm willing to overlook those H as long as they had some sort of story to cover it up. But now FT never ends (alike other Shounen that you might know), and so the main plot (which I suppose is finding Igneel) is gone. Though I admit that I enjoy the 1st Season very much, the 2nd is pretty much alike the other suck mainstream Shounen.
To sum it up, I guess I'm telling my opinion that 1st season was great (with my hope of finding Igneel came true). But the 2nd (and those follows) sucked.

It is impossible to like an anime with such a scumbag as protagonist.
Plus, I can't stand that slut called Sekai too.
I really hope it as awesome as the first season was... but 99% of anime sequels aren't that great.

I said that the character I dislike the most was him and Emiya Shiro (from Fate/Stay) in other thread, but the later at least have some integrity.

The long and short of it (all of which I didn't go into on that article): horrid animation, failure to deliver quality writing on a premise that demands it, unlikable protagonists (even if your protagonists are not likable people, you need to at least provide proper reasoning for their actions; insanity is not an excuse to do whatever the fuck you want with a group of characters), endless padding, manipulation of a character trope to sexist degrees, characters not acting like people, and the ending being nonsensical and pulled out of the writers' asses. There's much more here, but pointing out a show's (numerous) flaws to an audience filled with its fans is enough for me to be flamed for ages.
It frankly astounds me that many fans are willing to let an immature grimdark gorefest not only slide but garner respect thanks to its dark content instead of crucifying it for stumbling every step of the way like they would for other lesser titles. Mirai Nikki is a plodding, terrible mess.

I can't really say something about Higurashi, since I only watched the first season, but I really liked it. Since I'm a guro-fan (only if it looks "realistic", I mean okay it's Anime, but sometimes, the animators really overdo it *cough* Mikami Teru's death in Deat Note.. *cough*) but I stopped watching it after the second episode of Kai, becouse I thought it was pretty boring..
