I'll ruin this here and now:

"Goosebumps" as they are commonly known are the result of a phenomenon known as "vasoconstriction" where the blood vessels contract away from the skin in order to decrease heat loss from the blood vessels during periods of cold where the body's optimal internal temperature is threatened and may deviate.

Any strong emotion—fear of an attacking predator, sadness or joy from music, nostalgia, sexual arousal, and the list goes on— can cause goose bumps.
