I meant in general. All the Worldwide races I've been on recently, Daisy Hills is always picked at least once, if not, more than half the time I'm still connected.

I can be there too. We switched to cable today and, unlike my old Megapath connection it actually bloody works. I tried the game out prior to the switch and got DC'd midway through the race. I tried the game out for three races in a row after the switch and it was bloody beautiful. *sniff sniff*Soaprman wrote:

lol i am 7 hours ahead.Blazevoir wrote:
Uhh... Well... For me, it's GMT-6. We could start later so those like bomber could join in.
That's why I said we could start later so you could join. We could start at like... 12 AM CDT (GMT-6) for all I know.bomber34 wrote:

If you play 9pm GMT - 6 i would have to stay up until 4 a.m GMT + 1
That would help a lot actually, I'm almost always on skype when I'm home. So maybe I can sneak in a game if you guys announce a game through there ;PSoaprman wrote:
Tonight's kartparty was a blast. We've begun using Skype while we play... it really adds a lot to the experience. For those of you who weren't on Skype with us during tonight's game, consider trying it next time!
Oh yes it was fun. Though I get the feeling that everyone was raging at me a lot... HEHEHEHEH.Blazevoir wrote:
Anyway, so just wondering: should we use Skype in all our kartparties (from now on, provided there's like... at least 3-4 people)? It was fun literally raging at each other XD
I only suggested every other week because I thought it was getting somewhat repetitive...mm201 wrote:

If we do them too infrequently, people will lose interest.
There are hidden stats. ;DAzure_Kite wrote:
That was kinda why I was asking, hahah, I'm not sure if there is a tangible difference in stat-wise identical parts, or if it's just my perception of it.
1 star on my profile, but I'll be damned if I can 3 star all 150cc and mirror tracks. The CPU is a cheating bastard.I can get 3 stars on any 150cc/Mirror cup with little to no effort now, barring ridiculously bad luck.
I don't know if using it for different game modes will affect you getting it, but yes, it DOES go away if usage of it is below 80%.Azure_Kite wrote:
Aiming for the Golden Steering Wheel now. By playing 80% of 100 recent games with the gyroscope, I wonder if the recent games applies to all game types (Offline Gran Prix, Online Races, Battles, etc) and whether the Golden Steering wheel is temporary. Does it wear off if the percentage of recent games played with Gyro Controls falls below 80?
I have two stars and I'm plenty content with that, I could get three if I wanted to but I got so pissed off at the AI I literally haven't played GP since I got my last cup with two or three stars.Soaprman wrote:
Am I the only one who has no stars and plans on continuing to have no stars?
Well, I do sometimes get stars, but they're the kind you use to knock people off the track with.
We're planning on having a kartparty in like... 7-ish hours from now. Get on Skype if you canDangaard wrote:
I have access to Internet with my 3DS here now, so I'm up for some matches, just inform me when something is planned
No, MKDS was by far the easiest. The CPUs slowed down on lap 3 and you could reliably dodge blue shells on 150cc/mirror.Dangaard wrote:
I don't want to brag or anything, but I had the feeling that it's quite easy compared to older games to get all stars. Of course you still need a good portion of luck, but after some retries and practice and the right kart you should be able to get them without problems.
And I have access to Internet with my 3DS here now, so I'm up for some matches, just inform me when something is planned
The CPUs traveled at MT speeds for the first 2 laps. Which suggests to me they knew very well how effective snaking was, but couldn't code an AI to do it properlySoaprman wrote:
You could also snake so hard on MKDS that the AI chumps would never be able to keep up anyway.
Really? o.O That's... kinda cool to know, actually, even if it makes them dirty bloody cheaters.mm201 wrote:

I usually announce them a day before the next kartparty. Though not intentional, they always seem to start at Friday, 9 PM CDT (GMT -6).Dangaard wrote:
Also: let's plan the next Kart session some hours earlier :U
6 P.M. (GMT - 6 ) is (add 7hours because of GMT + 1) is 1 A.M. for us germans. (I hope i did no mistake now)Mianki wrote:
I calculated that it's 3 AM for me and 2 AM for bomber and Dangaard. Yeah, there's never a really good time for everybody but I guess I'll try and make it
But when we have summetime on the northern hemisphare that also means that USA has summertime so that is +- 0 at the end....Mianki wrote:
Internet says that it's GMT +2 in Germany, did you remember to add summer time? http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-z ... n/germany/
Sounds fine (here is GMT -5) although it needs a little change to suit the best hour for all. If possible, could it be a little earlier to fit everyone countries?Blazevoir wrote:
Okay, so... does a kartparty at 6 PM CDT (GMT -6) tomorrow sound good?
Pick a time. Host a party. See who shows.Xgor wrote:
Hey..... you know. we should have some kartparties when it's nighttime for the Americans 8)...
Can't really say I'm found of playing 1-2 AM <.<
Note that if you're like me and play far away from your comp then you get to experience the joy of regularly checking your Friends List to see what's going on.Soaprman wrote:
Also, if you play reasonably close to your computer and have a headset, consider joining us on Skype while we play! Nothing like trash talk in real time.
Yesss it's out! Finally Wuhu Mountain Loop will be playable online without everybody abusing the bug.Dangaard wrote:

Alright, I actually did spam Maka Wuhu until it got picked.
This one guy spent the entire race trying to do the glitch. I'm serious. And it was pure, comedic gold.
Unfortunately, our room didn't contain any members of the Lowest Common Denominator. D:Blazevoir wrote:
I still wonder how many people are still trying the glitches, lol.

*spams Maku Wuhu and Wuhu Loop for the lulz*
I was downstairs the whole time! XD I should really get one of those WiFi Range booster thingies sometime, though, so I can play in my room without getting D/C'd. They're kinda pricey, but it'd probably be worth it just so I could play MK7 on my bed.Blazevoir wrote:
Dammit, lol. Oh well. Was nice trying.
Still, Maka Wuhu (even before I knew about the exploit) was one of my fave tracks, so it's nice to race on it normally on Worldwide again \o/
P.S. Y u no talk on osu! while we kartparty? >=c
Version 1.1 (May 15, 2012) [43 SD Card blocks]
Resolved shortcut exploits for Wuhu Island Loop, Wuhu Mountain Loop, and Bowser Castle 1 when playing online. Does not affect offline play; the exploits remain in Single Player and Local Multiplayer, and ghosts that used these exploits are unaffected.
It did. It also fixed the GBA Bowser Castle 1 glitch. Those are the only 3 glitches it fixed, though, but those are the only ones that really had an impact on online gameplay and that were significant and game-breaking.pieguy1372 wrote:
