I've been using my own custom speed indicator for my few recent maps that changed BPM.
But I was thinking this should be added to Osu. I think some simply text directly below the score would suffice, but an image wouldn't be too bad either. Basically, when the speed changes, say the BPM doubles, there would be text/image that stated new BPM. This should be very noticeable so that people actually notice it when it pops up.
When the BPM goes back to normal, this would disappear.
Alternatively, a mapper could choose between two types of indicators, 1) which only shows temp. BPM's, as stated above, and 2) one which will always show the current BPM.
