Just gave it a second thought and maybe it would be nice to have each beatmap background different. As it is an anime, a lot of nicely related pictures can be found

Easy:
You said that I don't have to, but haven't said I couldnt so... :)
- Approach Rate and Overall Difficulty are quite high for an Easy. And is very suprising that Easy is harder than Normal in Accuracy... I would say that middle of those would be for something like Normal+, I would move Overall Difficulty one tick to the left and Approach Rate twice to the left.
- Where this Bpm come from? Well, I think you should lower the Velocity even more because of this BPM. I would use 0,60 for easy.

I don't like to make suggestions because I'm a beginner at mapping and modding but if you want my point of view, I think the spacing is too random sometimes like a normal spacing, then a jump and then a normal spacing again on the same timing... And the sliders could have a better shape.
Also for the [Extra] it is obviously overmapped, and even more at the end. This diff is like "I make some random hard map that only a few people will FC lulz" (if someone can)

Everything fixed. (I can't believe I missed the unsnapped [Normal] notes. :P)
"I make some random hard map that only a few people will FC lulz" - While I realize it's a difficult map, I made it fairly seriously, not "OVERMAPPED FOR THE LULZ". I thought the song had a "fast and light" feel to it, which is what I tried to map. I know that it may be a bit overmapped, but I didn't tone it down because I liked the challenging feel that came out of it. Note that I can pass the map easily, and I'm only in the #300's.

I seriously agree with osuplayer about renaming this to Normal+. Its playing much more like a Hard and is misleading to its current difficulty name.

Just dropping by to say that i disagree with renaming Normal to Normal+ i played all diffs and Normal feels like a fine gap between Easy and Hard, it's just that Easy is harder than usual, but still Easy enough for newbies, renaming it to Normal+ would mean that Normal is way harder than Easy and slightly easier than Hard which is not the case.
Also i agree with Andrea either drop Extra or rename it to Expert or something, didnt do a full mod on the map but checked the mentioned diffs and pointed out my opinion, oh also, I'm still on doubting on letting people watch a video with a naked girl on it, and idc what age is it. See ya~

I'm sorry, but censoring that would be ridiculous.

That's the kind of overzealous censoring that makes things look more suggestive and "mature" than then were before. Note that the sequence in the video is already censored, in that there are no details drawn in, and the scene is not sexually suggestive. By adding censoring (by pixelation or black bar), there is an implied sexual attitude - by putting censors over the chest or crotch, it implies that there were details drawn in, and there clearly aren't any in the video.

It's the same psychological trait that was used by Improv Everywhere in their "No Underwear Subway Ride" April Fool's Day video. Everybody in that video is wearing natural-colored underwear, but by adding censoring, it becomes implied that they are wearing nothing.

By adding censoring, it not only looks like I'm being immature and freaking out over nothing, but it even makes the video even more suggestive.

  1. The official name of the anime is Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I suggest that you rename the source on all diffs to the official name and put Mahou Shoujo into tags instead.
[Easy]:
  1. 00:05:089 (2) - (nazi) This slider kinda hits me, you could curve it so the (1) at 00:06:461 fits in the curve. Something like this.
  2. 00:28:061 (1,2,3,4) - Spacing between 2-3 is different than 1-2 and 3-4. I understand that you wanted to mirror them and to fit a slider in between, so feel free to ignore this because it doesn't look that confusing, but I would recommend to move (3) and (4) by 1 grid down, just to for the spacing's sake.
  3. 00:45:204 (1) - Remove new combo.
  4. 00:55:489 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Spacing between (2) and (3) looks kinda critical. Move (3) and (4) by 1 grid to the left to fix.
  5. 01:03:032 (1,2) - (nazi) Move these by 1 grid to the right so they are in line with the previous combo.
[Normal]:
  1. Looks kinda hard for a 'Normal', but that's ok. Maybe call it Normal+?
  2. 00:07:662 (1) - Remove new combo.
  3. 00:30:804 (6) - Add new combo.
  4. 00:31:490 (1) - Remove new combo.
  5. 00:31:490 (1,2,3,4) - (nazi) Move these by 6 grids down and 2 grids to the left, this will create a more linear approach and look nicer.

Alright.

Easy: Felt a tad above easy but still doable.

Normal: The beat seemed to follow the singer and suddenly changed to one of the instruments when it got near the chorus. It felt odd and confusing. I'd add another couple notes.

Hard: The same can be said here along with some odd note placement.

Insane: Notes felt too far from each other in certain spots but otherwise it looked great.

You've done a great job on this. I don't know what else to really say about it. A star for you.

This was a difficult mod for me to do. Why? Because your mapping differs from mine so much that I almost felt like Nazi modding. I'm a super perfectionist.

This Difficulty's name is very confusing. I'd almost recommend using Normal+ over this. ALMOST. Try Normal, maybe.

00:19:833 (4) - Remove note and start (5) here.

I would recommend not using gray as a combo color.
In multiplayer coop, gray circles are ones you are not supposed to hit.
Having gray circles in your map can confuse people playing multi (and considering this is an extremely popular song, people will play it in multi)

  1. That offset sounds a tad early to me. Try adding +20 to it? (I got Offset: 996 for it)
  2. Also, every diff has 2 timing sections, one at Offset 976, and one at Offset: 11,604, apart from Insane which has only one. You'll only need one timing section for this (the Offset: 976/996 section).
  3. Tiny thing, but perhaps you could set the Stack Leniency on Easy and Difficult to the same as those on Hard and Insane? Makes sense to set that the same across the board to me.
  4. Also, the filenames for both wood taiko difficulties are full of symbols and code. They still work fine, but rename those?
[EASY]

I quite like how the map changes when it reaches the chorus, but the part before the chorus is a bit bland, since it's stuck on white ticks mostly, breaking off of them for the odd slider. (things like 00:43:147 (2,3,1,2,3,4,5,6) - ). the chorus part is more interesting though, if a bit of a difficulty jump, but no biggie, it works kinda well.

[DIFFICULT]

Fun stuff. Quite a difficulty jump between this and easy, but well, it is "Easy" and "Difficult" after all (haha). Still could use something in-between them though but it wouldn't be practical with 4 osu!standard difficulties already. That's your call.

00:26:518 (x) - Put a note here, to finish this vocal phrase? Since you mapped to the vocals but missed the last note. It goes onto a nice double there too with (4).

[HARD]

Seems as though a lot of this map is stuck on vertical and horizontal lines, even going back on itself. With the other difficulties been a little bit more free-flowing this felt a bit odd. It plays okay, but it's a little bland layout-wise. The rhythms and such are nice and varied though.

[INSANE]

I'm not too keen on the wider spacing here, but it plays fine. It's quick but it's readable. Nothing really bugged me in this one, Just one spacing hitch that I think could be patched up:

00:37:489 (6,7) - Budge (7) closer to (6)? (and you could move (8) too so it's level). Tiny thing, but smoohing out the spacing would be best here methinks.
00:39:032 (2) - and stack this on the end of that slider maybe?

Perhaps, i'm not good enough at taiko to really evaluate this one. I'm alright and I see what's going on, but yeah. It's technically sound. some nice sound rhythms going on even though it is a bit random at times,

I much prefer this one (probably because I can play this one, har har). Again, technically fine, and some nice rhythms going on. Looking like a TnT Taiko oni rather than an osu! taiko oni if you know what I mean.
