Wow, such drama. Makes me glad I didn't register in [Hard], 'cause then I'd have to take this thing seriously.

so what I've gathered from this Mooniz obviously being the amazing player he is, as well as Ledzur are angry that there will be no mods for the insane category that I am also in?
I also disagree with there being no mods, because pretty much I play with HR + Hidden most of the time.
But the whole fight about why is there even a tournament is stupid, what's wrong with a tournament? is it soooo terrible? It's just going to increase the CTB activity and help out osu overall, there is NOTHING wrong with a tournament, so stop being stuck up jerks and let this happen, you're only creating stupid childish drama for no reason what so ever.
Congrats, Mooniz and Ledzur you guys are both the best CTB players here, but you don't see PeterPrime or L creating drama like this over the tournament. They are both very good players as well.
Also this tournament will increase the overall skill of other players, isn't that what you want, for people to actually challenge you? So stop whining and let it happen smoothly. It's nice enough that there is a tournament besides just multi and single player.

I'm a damn sensitive person, i usually can stand them. But having people just joining a room to insult you over and over, for weeks gets on my nerves, that's why i'm kicking people when they do something stupidBimmz wrote:

For a tournament to be succesful, you need to have a date set and everything fixed.
If you make them signup and then it won't start for another 2 months, people will plan other things.
Think about that until the next one.

Website *updated*. I'll review new beatmaps NOW. Also, please note that submission system (both for Beatmaps and User) wasn't working properly since 10th June 2009. That was caused by moving to another server... And expiry of my old domain name. Everything is back and works as it should.

Catch the Beat's not that great, Standard's better. Mostly weird people or people with crap mouses play CtB.

I'll post news here as well then. Tournament will be some time in the next month (unspecified), pending we finalise beatmaps and gather enough spectators.

Now here is the score system out of 7 players playing and a moderator.
1st place player gets 10 point for a single match. 2nd gets 8, 3rd gets 6 4th gets 4 5th gets 3 6th gets 2 7th gets 1. Now if you get disconnected or leave in the middle of the match you recieve no points for that match but you still keep your existing points that you have previously. Now if you fail the map that you are playing the points that you will earn for the match will be cut in half. After a certain amount of matches a player will be disqualified if they haven't reach the required score limit for the next round. (Which the score minimum hasn't been decided yet)
How people will be put into groups will be by continents basicly the groups will be Europe and Africa. North and South America and Asia with Austrailia. Each group will have 7 players in it. Groups will be then resorted after a player has been disqualified or dropped out completely which means you have a chance to fight alot of different players!
Bagno and I still haven't decided out yet how the finals will be played but don't worry we'll think of something
