You missed akro.

Also not voting is a null tell, akro. Trying to use the reasoning that not joining the bandwagon must be a method of scum trying to avoid lynching a town holds as much strength as scum joining a bandwagon for an easy lynch. Not sure where you're trying to go with that, cop out maybe?

I disagree, Rantai. The vote is the most powerful tool a town player has, indicating commitment and a desire to actually get someone lynched. Not using it indicates you don't believe enough in what you're saying, you're not willing to go on the record, you're avoiding blame for being wrong. Or you're to lazy to think about who actually could be mafia.

Perhaps if Jinxy had been making decent contributions throughout I'd be more forgiving of his lack of a voting history, but that isn't exactly the case here.

Anyways, scum: Rantai, Jinxy, and ... mara? kanye?

just read through all the recent pages and wanted to say a few things.

DxS commenting on my "activity" in any mafia game is laughable at best. you are like the nr1 lurker / dropout of every mafia game ever.

almost leads me to believe that you are mafia because maybe having a "fun" role would give you more incentive to actually take a game seriously.

also I'm getting a seriously scummy vibe from Rantai, but I already kind of mentioned that earlier. He is playing more aggressively than I remember him playing as a mafia, so who knows... I could be wrong here.

Uh, last time I was mafia, I basically blew up the entire mafia side of the game cause I instantly got lynched. If you do know me foulcoon you would know I play as a terrible mafia aligned player. But it seems that you won't think otherwise as always. If anything I've lately been tending to favor independent or Town power roles. Just throwing my thoughts out there again.

First off, all the games are still here archived. I tend to go back at times and read the entire past mafia game threads so it gives me a general idea on how people are playing and such. Also it's giving you "red flags" that I'm suddenly choosing to be much more active in mafia games? Then tell me foulcoon, how should I play that satisfies you huh? This entire game you've been going after everyone based upon random feelings or by your gut trying to label them as mafia without clear examples. Seems to me you're just picking on me solely cause of my inactivity meta, disinterest and lurking.

1. Yes, you're right. But it's still a null tell.

2. So you're saying it's better to vote someone that you're not sure about/don't believe to be scum than not voting? Right.

Also if we're going to talk votes, I like how your D1 vote was on Nyquil where you specifically stated that you'd like to have him copped/aux etc and Backfire/Kayne lynched. Your vote achieved the exact same thing as not voting, except you're swimming in a pool of backpedaling.

These two posts are probably the ones you're calling contradictory. My first post was in response to akrol voting foul because foul looked like he was softclaiming. That vote just felt wrong to me.
The second post was after akrol made speculation about how foul was aux, and my reply was thought in a way of what if foulcoon really softclaimed, and then I figured it was highly unlikely for him to be aux, and I'd think he was mafia if I had to choose between those two.

Also, I never vote unless I am very sure of someone.


Now, my own opinions. One thing I've noticed...

We have no reason to believe the flips are wrong. Papi sounded scummy and it turned out that he was scum. No surprises there. But akrolsmir's death did succeed in making Rantai look really scummy, which could be another reason he posted what he did. Out of all the people akro believed to be mafia, I think he's the most likely candidate anyways

I have reason to believe the flips are wrong. Since this game has started I've received 2 "information" PMs from Hitter. In the beginning, the grammatical error thing, I truly didn't know that the role PM for vanilla townie was in the OP. That being said that is my exact role PM, I was told that I was a vanilla townie.

That being said, these 2 PMs told me:

pieguy was not a Lyncher, he was a Vanilla Townie (says that I checked his identity before)

Papi Bear was a Vanilla Townie (also goes as far to say he was innocent)

Now normally I would wait til the next day in hopes of getting some actual information, but I'm starting to believe I'm some kind of naive Coroner who thinks everybody is a vanilla townie. This of course would mean that my initial role PM was wrong anyway.

Any thoughts?

That's really confusing. Why is it you only get 'coroner' info for those 2 particular deaths?

Only reason I can see is when they aren't flipped as Vanilla Townie which brings up the question as to why are there anomalous flips in the first place. It's too random for a host side effect leading me to believe either you have a similar role to what you stated (something like how LS was a janitor serial killer claiming coroner, for example) or someone else is screwing with the flips and you're picking up on them as they are screwed with.

I got vanilla townie in my role PM as well.

Alright guys it seems I was foulcoon's enabler (or something similar to that) upon his death. Apparently he left a note saying that all his coroner information was inaccurate and that he left revised records in a toilet. That toilet smelled like crap

The results came out to be:

Guests:

Backfire (Revealed Vanilla, lynch D1)
pieguy1372 (Revealed Lyncher, shot N1)
kanye west (Revealed Mafia Flavour Cop, lynched D3)

Employees:

Papi Bear ROCKS (Revealed Mafia Roleblocker, lynched D2)
akrolsmir (Revealed Vanilla, shot N2)
foulcoon (Revealed Town Naive Coroner, shot N3)

Anything in brackets is what I added for convenience. It also seems that fouldcoon was originally a vanilla. There must be some sort of pattern (or this is random and Hitter is screwing with me with useless info).

I scanned Jinxy and got a positive, at this point I can't tell if I am random or I am correct.
At any rate, we should wait for his replacement to see what he has to say.

Rantai: I can't tell what the difference between a guest and an employee is. Did your PM say anything about that?

I'm using 'enabler' tentatively. Basically when foulcoon died my (hidden) role activated such that the coroner results that I received were the true coroner results.

2 - Mafia Censors - Have the ability to control what role a person will flip as.
10 - Vanilla Townies - One of which will get the real flip of a person via PM's. When that person dies, he will be replaced with another.

But all in all that didn't really turn out to be an active enough of a game. I'm sure you guys could have figured out that I made 2-3 obvious mistakes and then that I was scum lol.

(I should have just kept quiet and claim townie)

Was drawing the kill N2 the right move?
