Senya - Tsuki ni Murakumo Hana ni Kaze

(General)
  1. The Title is Incorrect. It should be as follows: 'senya - Tsuki ni Murakumo Hana ni Kaze (Short Ver.)'.
  2. There is an inconsistency in tags. On [Hard], there are two o's infront of opening. Remove the first one so that it's just 'opening'.
  3. Offset is off by a little bit. Change it to 96. It sounds better. Ask others and see if their opinions are shared with mine.
  4. Hm, this isn't a big problem at all, but I suggest for you to change your background to something with at least one Subterranian Animism character. After all, this is Koishi's stage theme or somethin', so it should have something to do with the game seeing that reimu is overused enough as it is. Plus, the picture's kinda blurry. So.. yeah. Yet again, not a big problem, but I highly suggest for you to change it.
  5. Maybe change the audio leadin for the easy/normal difficulties to 1,000? The difficulties don't start at the first vocals 'Tsuki ni' in which the hard and insane difficulties start at, so that's about half a second that should get deducted from the audio leadin. Completely optional.

  1. 00:46:195 (4) - Misplaced Clap. You see, the clap really should have been on this slider's only slidertick, so placing the clap on the slider end sounds off and is inconsistent with your hitsound pattern. Remove it, please.
  2. 00:49:570 (1) - Remove the clap from the beginning of the slider. Looking at what you did at 00:52:570 and 00:55:570, you only used whistles on the beginning of the sliders that have a similar-sounding part like at 00:49:570. So, lets say if you had a whistle at the beginning of (1), you wouldn't need a clap to keep consistency, right? Yeah! Then remove the clap here so that you can only hear a finish and keep consistent hitsounds. ^^
  3. 00:55:570 (3, 4) - Remove all hitsounds from this slider and note and add finishes. You can hear it as it is indicated in the music. Trust me on this one.
  4. 00:58:570 (3) - Why didn't you add a finish? Like I have mentioned previously, add a finish for it is indicated for there to be one in the music.
  5. 01:00:070 (5, 6) - On (5)'s slider starting point: and add a finish. There is one in the BGM, so there should be one here. At (6): Add a finish. You can keep the clap since you had one on (7).
  6. 01:00:070 (5) - Add a new combo here. It prevents the combo from being way too long in an easy (7), and it also makes sense since this part is following the finishes in the BGM. (Yes, this is the main part because the singer, senya, is holding a note.)
  7. 01:27:070 (1) - There should be a finish here, not a whistle! Please, replace the whistle with the finish, for obviously there should be a finish since it is indicated in the BGM.
  1. 00:43:570 (1, 2, 3, 4) - .. This just doesn't feel right. Sorry to burst your bubble. I suggest doing this, it both sounds and plays better!
  2. 00:53:882 (x) - You added a note here in the previous dark blue combo and the next green combo.. So, why not add one here? It fills up the empty space quite well.
  3. 01:03:070 (1, 2, 3) - These flow weirdly, and they look kinda ugly in gameplay since they are in a boxy pattern spaces ever-so-closely together. I suggest for you to do something less cluttered or boxy.
  4. 01:16:570 (5) - Yet another slider that looks messy in-play. It also doesn't flow/play to well, either. I suggest re-positioning it!
  5. 01:22:570 (3, 4) - Kinda getting close to the edge of the screen.. Maybe re-arrange the whole entire combo like this? 'kinda looks better this way ^^.
Overall, it could use some tidying up. It was very nice, though! Good job for your first 'serious' map. >w<

  3. 00:45:070 (3) - Add a new combo for some emphasis here? After all, there is a finish in the BGM, and usually on emphasis-finishes, you place a new combo.
  4. 01:02:320 (1) - Hows' about you add a whistle here? I saw you added one at (2), so why not add one here? Or, EVEN BETTER! Add a whistle at (1) followed by a clap at (2)! That sounds MUCH better!
  5. 01:03:070 (3) - New combo? The kiai starts here, it has a finish, and it just looks/sounds better here. Also, it keeps the purple combo from being very long (9).

  1. 00:28:945 (2) - Dat slider path.. Hm. Maybe re-position it? It's ugly in play due to if you get a 300, it will cover half of the slider track up, and it just looks messy due to it being right under where a previous slider path was less then two beats ago.
  2. 00:31:570 (1) - This is a big NO. Remove the slowdown. Slowdowns/speedups are unadvised in easier difficulties, and if you are going to add one, at least put it in an area that makes more sense, like where you put the slowdown in Hard and Insane. So.. yeah. Remove it.
  3. 01:04:570 (5, 6) - Kinda confusing.. (5)'s not what i'm after, but (6) is. It's stacked immidietly after (5) follows the vocals under the slider end, switching from the vocals to following the BGM. Very confusing for normal/easy players. Either remove the notes that come right after the sliders, or space them out. This should solve that problem.
  4. 01:10:945 (3) - Unless there is a totally valid reason to stack this, unstack it. It's hard to read and makes no sense as to why it is stacked.
  5. 01:12:070 (1) - Remove one repeat from it and add a note, instead. Sliders that repeat over three times that are not kick sliders in harder difficulties are very boring and deserve to be broken up. (Result will be this: )
Same as easy. Could use some tidying up, but otherwise, it's great.

  3. 00:33:445 (2) - The whistle was supposed to go here, not on the slider end. Right now it sounds really awkward, so I suggest you to put the whistle here instead.
  4. 00:33:820 (3) - Since you're following the vocals, why not also add a whistle at the beginning of this slider? It fills in the empty space ~
  5. 00:44:882 (7) - I suggest making this part of the green combo that follows this purple one. It follows the vocals and lightens up some combo-pattern confusion myself and some others are having.
  6. 01:02:320 (1) - I hear some noise that's kind of whistle-like in the BGM. Perhaps add a whistle here?
  7. 01:09:070 (1) - Remove the finish. There's no need for it. Well, here, i'll also let you in on something that would make your map sound magnificent. Add a whistle in this section whenever you hear a sound like the one here. (add one at 01:09:070 and 01:10:570). If you decide to do that, add it to your other difficulties, too.
  8. 01:27:070 (1) - "There should be a finish here! Please add a finish, for obviously there should be a finish since it is indicated in the BGM."
  9. 01:34:007 (2) - Remove the whistle here and at 01:34:570. It sounded weird even though you were trying to follow the BGM Piano. Either do that or add a whistle for every single note that had a piano sound.

    Some combo patterns you set, especially in the kiai, were hella confusing and very hard to follow. I suggest placing your combos to either the BGM or the vocal next time. Not both. It only causes greater confusion.
  1. 00:06:070 (3) - I suggest that you should space this out a bit more. It doesn't make complete sense why it's stacked, and 'is kinda better spaced out because it gives that flowy feeling during play.
  2. 00:27:070 (5) - Nope. I don't approve of this at all. It is boring to play sliders with more then three repeats on harder difficulties, plus it feels awkward to play. Remove one repeat so that it's only a one-time repeat slider and then add a note where the last repeat would have been. Sounds/plays WAY better!
  3. 00:37:570 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) - Hm.. This beat placement seems fine, but it'd be better if it was like this. . It not only sounds better, but plays better, too. It also fills up the empty space you have goin' on at 00:39:632.
One of the best hard difficulties I've seen in a while. Magnificent.

It seems as if the slider is following the vocals, and then the single beat starts following both the piano and the vocals. It's a combo-deal ;)
  2. 00:58:570 (1, 2) - These mess up the map's amazing flow.. They look ugly in play, too. Maybe just make them into curve sliders or sliders like you did previously in the hard difficulty? ( Hard: 00:31:570 (3, 4)
  3. 01:18:070 (1) - Make this into a one-time repeat slider and then add a note at where the slider would have originally ended. It sounds much better and eliminates the boringness of having a four-time repeat slider on an insane difficulty.

Also, if you don't believe me and Roddie about the offset being wrong, i'll get confirmation from a BAT. As i said before, trust me, it was/is still wrong. If you play the music at 25% and hear the metrenome click, you'll hear that it's early and not correct.

- Yeah, the thumbnail needs to get fixed. I'll do a bit more work on this soon. In the meantime, try full submitting numerous times, with and without the new background. Delete the .osb file while you're at it, maybe it'll magically solve everything.
- It felt like you could have mapped through that break in the earlier difficulties as well, for the short version of a song I wouldn't leave 10% of it unmapped.

[Lunatic]
- For some reason I bothered with more small things on this difficulty than the other ones, it's still not very problematic.
00:25:580 (1,2,3,4,5) - Pattern would look a bit better if you spaced it out to avoid overlap.
00:38:330 (3) - Try to smooth out this arc? It looks quite unnatural at the moment.
01:06:080 (1,2,3,4) - Because of stacking placing (4) directly under the reverse arrow of (1), it's difficult to read on Hidden.
01:33:080 (1,2) - Quite a bit of overlapping here, try to make it more like 00:55:580 (1,2) - .

[Hard]
- Stack Leniency is too low, for this map 1/2 and 1/1 notes should stack when they're in the same place.
