If anyone has been reading the changelog, you can see that a lot of Taiko additions have been made recently.
Because of those changes I suddenly can't wait for the new build.

Is it *somehow* possible to change the beat offset for Taiko mode while leaving it as is for regular osu! mode? Some kind of legal modification of game files perhaps?
Because for some reason, I have to hit everything early in Taiko mode, and I don't think stuff like the Taiko training map is supposed to be offbeat (and I'd imagine you shouldn't have to hit the button when the blue and red circles have not even reached the hit circle area...) ._. Regular osu! is fine, though...
Btw, my computer is the worst pile of garbage you could possibly imagine, so I guess it lags Taiko for no apparent reason...
It's just freaking annoying because I wanted to learn and probably get into Taiko and now I can hardly FC the training map ;_;
Oh, and I've already tried setting osu! to "higher priority" in the Task Manager to remove/lessen the lag issues, but to no avail...

Well, i'm used to play with default keys ZXCV:
-Forefingers on Dons (left one on X,right one on C)
-Middle fingers on Kats (left=Z, right = V)
I love this settings cause when there are "finish" Dons i use just my right hand
(for Kats it depends from the song but generally i use both middle fingers)

Luna +. I also have something like that with a new pc Oo recently i had an "ancient" one and everything was ok, but now i have to press buttons earlier ._. totally ruined all the skill
