1) No clear preference, but I like having information. Mason, mafia, cop, etc. Which is pretty ironic that I'm playing in this information-less game, but hey

Hey guys, RQS is just hollow filler if you give a simple one word answer to each question. You should at least explain your reasoning behind your choices.

1) What is your preferred alignment?

Serial Killer/other independant, because they're probably the roles with the least external pressure. Don't have to worry about screwing and mislynching like a townie, don't have to worry about screwing over your team as mafia. Only have to play for myself.

2) What role would you want to get in a game?

Anything but Vigilante. Too much second guessing. I generally prefer roles that can gain information, like watcher, tracker, cop, etc

3) Would you lynch lurkers?

Yes. Too easy for the mafia to hide amongst non-posters. Non-posting townies aren't too incredibly useful either way. It also keeps the game moving. A game where all the most active posters are killed off in the first couple days dies off fast. Usually the mafia win in such a situation since no one is around to do anything.

4) Would you use meta as a tool for scumhunting?

Depends on the player really. For someone like animask, anything goes and meta is pretty worthless.

5) How often do you plan on posting? (Please set a quantifiable date... not just "when I have something to say")

At least once a day hopefully.

I'm expecting some false information from the aux roles (if there are any). I don't really get the "in the dark" theme of this, but we'll discover it as we go along.

foulcoon might have said the grammatical error thing without knowing Hitter edited in the sample PM, so I can't say I 100% agree that he was trying to softclaim vanilla town. I'm not confirming him, just saying your vote seems rushed, akro.

@akrolsmir: I agree with auxes on Nyquill, but I'd say the bus driver should hold off. Would cause unnecessary confusion if a cop, watcher, or tracker were redirected.

@rantai - in my experience day 1 lurkers tend to be bored townies not mafia (see backfire); mafia are smarter/more interested than that.

I was merely wondering why you thought he was aux and not mafia. You said that you were betting that he's aux. Is there something that supports your bet?

I still have my doubts about foulcoon as to whether he's mafia or aux. But not worth lynching him today imo. I don't think akrolsmir is trying to manipulate anyone; he could just be doing his job as town and scumhunting. I advised investigating Nyquill because it was blatantly obvious that he held some kind of aux role at some previous point in the thread. As for Mara, he has been kind of quiet and unhelpful for hunting scum, but that just tells me that he may be an uninterested town, rather than mafia.

What's more shocking to me is that you claim I tried to save my ass by calling investigation to Nyquill, but YOU were the one to jump on my bandwagon.

Thinking about it, I feel that foulcoon's mafia. If he was an aux, then it would make more sense for him to keep quiet than talk about the error and risk attracting the attention of mafia if they do not believe he's really vanilla.

@ Nyquill- let's call it speculation for now. I'm not sure I want to reveal my somewhat shaky reasoning in case it turns out to have been correct and we could have used it more effectively. Just know that it's more of a guess than proof.

Oh yeah, in my experience, lurkers can be anything. Just take last game (Deus Ex) Sync lurked and eventually got replaced and happened to be mafia.

Let's see. Your unvoting at the end of day 1 to exactly zero effect and not voting Backfire either is probably my main cause of suspicion- I saw that as trying to avoid being on a wagon that you knew to be town. I was also "rubbed wrong" by your speech to the cop - it seemed to me to be anti-town at the very least. I know that if I were the cop with a guilty on nyquill I wouldn't immediately go and post my result; I'd wait to see if nyquill would do something to reveal possible scumbuddies.

If you're not mafia, Rantai, tell me: who are you considering to be scum?

Papi bear, if you need reasons why you're being scummy atm:
1. Bandwagoning every lynch vote started that is not yourself.
2. Stating that the mod won't give power roles to new players, while you are a new player yourself.
3. Voting someone who already has a vote on him (Without stating a reason for yourself a.k.a. bandwagon) because you have 2 votes on yourself.

Alright, it's abundantly clear that Papi is rather anti-town in his actions thus far. The easy thing to do would be to lynch him, but the question is, is he actually mafia? I don't know if he's played before but he could well just be a bumbling townie rather than scum.

That's actually my thought here, I'm attributing his blatantly scum play with being new.

Problem being is that if he is scum then it's going to be extremely confusing as the player count gets smaller.
