I personally think every interesting map should have the chance to get approved, whether it fits ranking criteria or not. It doesn't count to the ranked score anyway, but it might be nice to have a toplist to compare people's scores. Especially since graveyarded maps expire now.
Using approved only as "rankable, except too many points" is pretty boring.

I don't see a problem with this being in approved, even though the difficulty was forced intentionally. It provides challenge for those who want it. Perhaps I'd change my mind if I looked at the map properly, but it's not really a problem if the map's here.
