Turns out my ISP upgraded my service for free weeks ago but my modem was too old to support speeds higher than 10mbps; so here's my first Speed Test result with the "upgraded" service and new gateway modem I was given.

Oh yeah, don't ask why the servers are in US. Even I don't know why.. (I'm Canadian. In a Canadian school.)
I remember dial-up back in the day, 50 kb/s for the fail, excruciatingly slow. If I wanted to use the phone to call somebody I would have to disconnect from the internet, make the call, and connect back again, which took about 5 minutes if I was lucky.
