Well... I'm available during 3 PM - 2 AM CST (GMT -6) during the weekends, so I'll try to figure something out. (WTB> time converter scheduler)

During the week i'm usually available after 4pm my time. Though my 'available' times are constantly changing soo... But generally after 4pm my time I should be fine.

So basically it's (obviously) either the NA players play late at night and you guys play in the morning/afternoon, or we NA players play during the afternoon and you guys play at night... Which works better for you?

I think the whole mirror thing is based on the relative VR of the contestants. For instance, if the majority of people have like, 2000 VR or something, it might bump it up to a higher level, like 150cc, or mirrored or something.
I'm not sure of the exact logistics, but that's how it worked in Mario Kart Wii.

Yeah, mirror happens in high VR rooms... I think it alternates between mirror and non mirror.

I need at least a day's notice if it's going to happen at any time other than the nighttime; 9pm-12pm EST.

When I first saw it it only happened rarely, but now it seems like it happens every other race. o.o I'm trying to climb up to 9999 VR and it's happened more and more, so perhaps it does happen depending on VR
Recently tried the Grand Prix of the Miis I got via StreetPass and discovered that beating the cup earns you a kart part if the Mii you're racing against is using a part you don't have. I'm not sure if this applies to the gold parts as well though.
Yeah, I read about that. I doubt it'd apply to the Gold parts, or else I'd probably see just about everyone on Worldwide with less than 10k VR have them.

Okay, I need a (GOOD) vid of this glitch... The one I just looked up was horribly explained/shown.
I did it on accident once by landing on the tip of the lower platform and somehow not opening the glider. o.o

Steering the glider with gyro controls is a pain in the ass.
I can't figure out if we use the circle pad or gyro controls to ascend or descend... They both look the same (not that I can tell since I can't see behind me >_>).

Opening outgoing ports is usually safe. The only time it becomes a concern is if you're already infected, but even then, the virus could use a common port like 80 to do its bidding.
