Ok...

This one has been sitting around for a while. This is also my first map with multiple BPM changes. (excluding intentional ones like 'Good Luck'). Special thanks to Kharl for initially timing this, though it did require a fair amount of fine-tuning.

Short map. Lotta notes. Lotta streams. A couple sliders. No spinner. However, there are no 1/8 streams. They're all quarter beats. Mouse players...I dunno if you could pass this. This of course excludes Saturos.

I can pass (and perfect, with a bit more practice) using only the Control key. Except one part where there's 3 1/8's, I use left/right on mouse to clear that...blah blah blah.

Timing may not be perfect, but seems rather close.

Have fun with this one, Saturos. SSing it will be a true challenge, I'd say. :P Assuming of course it's timed well enough to be SS'able.

I'll play it when I get home and edit this post.

Edit: All the hype-up for this? I was a little disappointed. ;x

After a half-dozen or so esc+retries, this is my current best for now:

I was questioning the timing on some parts of the song (26:00 - 27:25 and 49:90 - 51:25) but I went back and listened to it in edit and various speeds and it seems to be timed correctly...I just seem to be inaccurate. :(

Loved the beatmap with that all said and done. A beatmap that lacks spinners makes me a happy Saturos. Though I'm not sure if I'll be able to SS this or not. I'll shoot for atleast under 5 100's eventually. And as a side note, I did have to left+right+left click on the triplet in the 50sec range; was a little too fast for left alone. :<

Disappointed? You misunderstood me. It's not a hard map. All I said is that it will be hard to SS. :P

There is nothing wrong with this beatmap. And it's a blast to play. tbh I think the all-one-sound hitcircles works for this too, so no worries there. I just really think you should make another difficulty =/ I'd hate to see this map go to waste because of ranking standards.

Starred.
Saturos
Bubbled for awesome, since I was not a mod prior to my original post here. ;x

I'm reluctant to rank this, because there's no easy (easier) version.

I mean, it took Saturos SIX tries! It'd take a new player 600 to beat it :P
Saturos
I play (esc+retry) all beatmaps a minimum of 5-10 times, regardless of difficulty. On most occasions, I esc+retry because I've never heard the song before, was unsure what a beat may have been placed to, and spammed 50's/100's because of it in some sections.

I don't really think an easier version is necessary, unless you guys see a need to act upon that rule all of a sudden. Multitudes of one-version, difficult beatmaps have been ranked already in the past.
Rolled
I do not usually tend to rank hard maps if they only have one difficulty. If they are easy enough for an amateur to pass within ~3 tries, then I think it is rankable. This song is a bit on the boundaries, but with the length making a normal mode will be no struggle at all. It is just a matter of changing the difficulty settings (fade + drain), possibly upping the circle size (up to you) and removing the 1/8ths (slider + a few near the end). That part after the break would have to be beefed down a bit though, its kind of tricky.

Hell, if you'd like I'd do this for you. I don't know your feelings towards somebody sharing in your work or anything, but credit isn't even necessary. It will take a matter of minutes o.o

lol, Rolled.

Soon you shall see the light. Was only a matter of time before Extor gave up, you two are similar.

My maps, you either rank em or you don't. There's no easier version, there's no harder versions, etc etc. :P

Then it will be a game of chicken, my friend. I will not give up any time soon ;)

It was always a requirement. Somehow it just didn't apply to some of Eiji's maps. If you really want to rank this just like it is now, I think we'll need a final word from peppy.
Saturos
Scroll through the beatmap listings for a page or two; it's a lot more than just Eiji's maps. ;x
Rolled
Either way I don't think a few misjudgments is a reason to ignore the rule entirely. No offense to you Eiji (or Saturos) but as long as the rule exists, this map doesn't fall under the standards of a ranked song.

Oh my gawd I love you for this

I knew I recognized the name, but "KFSS Studios" just threw me off. Chrono Cross <3

I have a stepmania download for this. And it's amazing (the beatmap I mean - the Stepmania simfile was fantastic as well though). I got 84.5% accuracy my first time through, so to say it's too difficult seems a bit much. On the other hand, I know the song well, so idk.

Either way, I love it. Some of the timing choices and beatspacing are a little misleading, though. (47:53, 52:33, etc)

For the whole of 1:12:75 and on until 1:17:25 there's virtually no beatspacing, so you just have to know the rhythm (maybe this is what was bombing everyone?). I don't know whether to request revision on this or just tell the audience (watch the bot play it once or twice first).

Also the sliders starting at 1:17:85 - what's that all about?

The section after that is a bit more of an adjustment, though it simply just follows a new pattern so whatever. But then the song ends early. Where'd the last section go, dood?

There's plenty of spacing on this map. As you should know, I strictly use ALT. But this map has alot of different timings, so spacing always changes.

As for the sliders, I just threw them in to keep things fresh. ie, not get too repetitive with only notes.

And the last part, I couldn't map it.

I'll go over the map right now with your thoughts in mind and see what happens.

Just went over it in edit mode, twice. I'm still happy with it, thus no changes shall be made at this time.

Thought bubbled, but not ranked. This is a pretty good map, pretty enjoyable to play, but could use an easier difficulty. I'm undecided as to whether I should rank this or not purely based on difficulty.

changed from bubble to star due to lack of difficulties available
