How about we just take the most nominated players and let all of them vote on their top players (if they want) and make the final list from that?
That way the "normal" users have at least some influence but the final list is created by people who actually have a clue what they are talking about. Not a great solution, but better that just trusting the masses imo.

Well, I don't know if people really want a Top 5 video, I'd think Top 10 or maybe even 20 would be more likely - and those are not so obvious.

I took the liberty to count votes and stuff, leaving completely unreasonable ones out. Let's just say I still think letting the pros decide is a better idea, the list doesn't really look all that great to me xD

What about mappers playing? I would find that more interesting tbh. Might sound arrogant a bit, but I slightly dislike when a mapper can't play his own maps. Not that it matters anyway. :p

As of now if I get around to making the video it will pretty much just be the most popular players and mappers... You can't judge a persons skill from a vote of random people it just doesnt work that way.

Come on, top 3 players are already widely known (anyone who disagrees shouldn't be posting in this thread) and as for 4th and 5th player and top 5 mappers, it's all about one's preference.
Also I would certainly like to see some MATs/BATs playing, as they often claim that something "plays good"
