Feature Request:
I hear from veterans that it is quite the trouble to keep ones Mod request thread clean and in line.
What would be a great feature for the Osu!Forum is a most likely separate forum section. Where one does not create ordinary threads, but "Mod Threads". Which would kind of work like a Poll. It would have some extra options to be set for the creator of the "Mod thread".
1.0
For instance:
- Que limit, The amount of mods the modder will accept before the forum closes up.
- Retakes, A toggle if the modder wants users to either RE-apply when they want a new mod, or if they can just reapply, disregarding the Que Limit.
- Accepted types, The accepted mod types by the modder. (Taiko/CTB/Normal) And Subtype (StoryBoard/Timing/Beatmap)
- Details required, (See the section 2.0)
- Amount of beatmaps accepted per user
- Comment field, Any extra notes the modder wants to make.

The modder may also moderate his own thread. And delete/mark as done(hide post) at there own will. (Discus this option.)

2.0
People who apply in the thread will be checked on the following on the modders desire:
- The applying user must add a link to there beatmap
- The user must select which difficulties he would like modded (Some have 4 but only have 1/2perfected and ready for modding)
Beatmap will be automatically checked on the following when requested:
- Amount of stars
- Song Length
- Genre
- Amount of difficulties
- Difficulties Submitted (Some mods only want to mod insane maps for instance)
- Must not be graveyarded (Pending required)

Mod 4 mod?
It happens a lot. But i am not familiar with it, neither do i know a simple way to enforce mod4mod. I suggest we keep that as is, unless others think up something.

LONG STORY SHORT:

Modding Queues threads that are mostly automated after first time setup by the modder.
Automatically checks if posted beatmaps follow the details you listed as modder.
Automatically closes when queues max is reached, and opened again at the modders desire.
Supports most/all options that people already set as rules in a modding queues thread.
Modder can moderate there own thread!

Sincerely,
Smileynator

Sorry, I'm Very Confused Right Now. xD I don't know if I want this or not because I can not grasp what you are exactly saying.

Edit: I still don't quite understand what you're saying here, but moderating your own Mod Queue thread sounds like a nice idea.

Edit 2: This actually sounds nice. I'm not sure how this would be done, though. +1 Support -hides-

This thread is lacking a tl;dr version.

I would wait for peppy's planned new ranking/modding system to be implemented before looking at anything like this.
