osu!Skype

Hey guys, after a WHOLE morning being bored, I created osu!Skype

Basically all you have to do is have Skype and copy and paste this link in your address bar:

It's just a URI which adds you to the conversation.

For the rules just type on the conversation "/get guidelines"

The admins are as follows:

The moderators are as follows:
Quaraezha

If you have no experience with Skype role sets I’ll explain them:
Creator: Me, basically leader of the group.
Master: An admin, exactly the same commands as me.
Helper: A moderator who can't moderate (some reason it doesn't work...)
User: Basic user
Listener: Read only basically, can hear what’s happening in voice and can read what’s typed but can't type or speak.

Any other problems, speak to me or an admin.
If you wanna be an admin, PM me with your skype username and how you think you can help or what experience you have <3
If you need a ban then PM a admin.

Skype is definitely not the best option for large groups (lag etc) and you already have osu!vent, why do you need more?

Some people can get Skype on their phones and such, unlike Vent.

It's more streamlined too, and much easier to use, unlike if you where new to Vent.

Welp. I can confirm that this doesn't work with Google Chrome. I tried it with Firefox and it worked.

Anyway, getting on it.

The only things I don't like about skype are: no "Push-to-talk" and it takes 150MB of RAM when idle.
But I still use it on a daily basis. If you're in a conversation and you're online you can still check what people said while you weren't around after you log in.

Not joining though becasue too many people

To be fair, my version of Chrome appears to be broken somewhat. I don't even know. Maybe it's because I'm still using a beta or something. I don't even know if I am or not.

If only I logged into skype more than once a month, I'd probably actually talk in the secret osu! skypes instead of looking and going "Eh, maybe later". Oh well.

Helper is not a moderator, it's just a user who will be not affected USERS_BECOME_LISTENERS option.

A helper is supposed to moderate too, Skype even said it themselves.

We don't use call really, it breaks the convo. Just use text :P

It causes the actuall text based chat to lag by about 5 mins.

Oh, I remember it. We used /goive once, and it resuted in MANY typing pencils. But only once, then every voice conference was fine.
