I was thinking... Maybe we could have little live "championships", where a few songs are selected, and players take turns to playing that song while the rest watch, and the best to perform on the song wins the championship or something. It would be a nice addition, in my opinion. A good way to get the community together. Maybe there could be user-created rooms, where the creator selects songs and holds a championship of his own.

I don't know. I'm just throwing my idea out here. It would be interesting.

Competitions were discussed before, and eyup was making maps for the first one. I think he doesn't have time to make it anymore though.

I might finish a map for a marathon/endurance championship, but I don't know how well this will be received by the community, considering how some people fine ~4 minutes "too lengthy".
