Reaching for the battered guitar lying on the ground, Echo picked it up and began to strum and sing to himself. Looking around, no one was about.
Slowly, Echo saw the group of the strangers who had, along with himself, unwittingly participated in this game of death gather around. Muttering ensued, as the others talked feverently, each one to themselves, turning this strange event over and over in the minds.
"Does this guy's lack of fear contribute to his innocence? Or guilt?"
The others seemed to suddenly realise they were all standing next to each other, and, flinching, hurried back to their huts, leaving Echo to do as he pleased.
