Kuwarudo, after yet again failing to play World of Warcraft, decides to go out. He walks slowly to the door, he turns the doorknob, opens the door, and sunlight started to flood his house. He quickly shut the door. "The sunlight it went straight to my eyes!", he said to himself. After which he found himself some sunglasses 8-) to protect his eyes. He opened the door again, the sunlight flooded the whole house with sunlight and he went outside. And then, for, God knows what, it quickly became cloudy. :x He then went back inside, because it wasn't sunny anymore, he opened the windows, which he always closes, because of the insects that sometimes gets in, and he was surprised to see the sun is smiling again. He quickly opened the door, and the sun started to hide again in the clouds. He closed the door and saw the sunlight through the windows, he opened the door again, only to see the sun hiding again! "What is this? A comedy routine?! Forget about it, I'll just play some Left 4 Dead." As he went to the XBOX 360, the sun started to shine again.

YellowYoshi1 decided to explore the place he would be living at for awhile, so he ventured away from his house to explore the small "village" they had been dropped off at.

He wandered around until he came into the pavilion they had all viewed the opening of the game at. He couldn't help but wonder how things would go through this game, so he decided to go take a look at the voting board to see how things were going.

"Hmm, the game just started and it's already looking like a pretty intense game..."

As he viewed the board he noticed in particular that two people stood out rather suspiciously. "Vytalibus and Larto... hmm..." He noticed that they had both originally voted for each other. They had both changed their votes to JInxyem.

"Seems pretty fishy that they would both change their votes to the same person..."

YellowYoshi1 casts his vote for Larto.

As Echo sat in the middle of the village square, strumming his guitar, a strange thought struck him. He numbered off the roles of the players in the brief he read during the plane ride to this island.

"Five werewolves... nine auxiliary roles..."

Echo stopped strumming.

"What?" he stammered. "We don't have any normal civilians in this game?"

Echo gazed wistfully towards the horizon, thinking of the endless possibilities of his life that he'd thrown away by participating in this game. Sure, the prizes were great, but perhaps the lottery was a better choice.

He returned to the village and raised his voice, calling out to the other strangers trapped in the same predicament.

"So, who are the werewolves? Look, no matter how you look at it, the werewolves are going to die anyway - if we find them all, they die. If they kill us all, they get blown up. Why get blood on your hands? You guys should just admit who you are and we'll leave the 'game' at that."

Echo looked around the group who had gathered, looking at each member of the game straight in the eye. "How about it?"

"Umm, guys? There's someone - and by someone I mean Pas - watching us..."

Awaiting the group's response he made a gesture to Pasonia, something that could say "I'm onto you!"

Wojjan was doubting who to pick. Should he chose slick accusing Larto, or mysterious spying Pasonia? He picked op a coin. "Heads for Larto, tails for Pasonia..." The coin was thrown into the air, made enough flips to make Tony Hawk himself jealous and spun in circles on the floor...

LadySuburu has always been a bit weird. She doesn't really think in the same way as others. In fact, she pretty much planned ahead for anything this game show could've been. As she's also fairly lucky, she usually manages to plan just right.

She requested to be able to bring some documents she could read over. The hosts didn't have much of a problem with that, or at least, that's what she gathered considering she was allowed to bring them (or alternatively, smuggled them in without much notice). The documents were recaps of how people with different motives acted differently in order to succeed in their goals. Ironically, these documents were also records of mafia hunts.

Knowing she needed to boost ratings, so the company that runs this game show gets funded (and thereby can provide the prizes), she saves her game, and begins looking through the documents, hoping that she'll be able to find something that could help her.

While doing so, she was also using her ability to break the fourth wall, a common ability where she's from. When reading, she got an odd feel from Larto and Vytalibus. A bad feeling. These two were far too trusting of each other. They may have been friends before this game started, but five of the group are now werewolves. You shouldn't trust anyone quite yet. Knowing someone was going to be lynched no matter what, she preffered that whomever was most suspicious to her would be the one to get lynched. She leaves her house to change her vote. After looking between Larto and Vytalibus's vote counts, It seems that Larto's drawn some suspicion already from others as well. Both had voted for the same person, and Larto's only ahead of that said person by one lynch vote. She decides.

She then sits at a table in the open, waiting for someone to talk with, hoping that one of the two passes by, so they have a chance to speak before the lynch at the end of the day.

Vytalibus looked at LadySuburu and sensed that something's wrong. She was the most recent person to change her vote, and alarmingly she voted against Larto. If he were going to save his friend from being lynched on the first day, he would have to talk some sense into her. He might not know anything about Larto yet, but he is still his friend nonetheless. As much as he wanted to believe in his logic, Vytalibus had that instinct to believe in Larto more.

He watched carefully, noting that only a handful of people were around them. Then, he politely bowed towards LadySuburu before sitting beside her. He made a gesture not to look directly into her eyes; it's a private custom for him.

"... If you're wondering about Larto..."

Oh crap, he thought. He shouldn't have started the conversation with that.

"... I mean, Larto's my only friend around. I know I voted him off earlier, but we both knew we could retract votes, and so we did." Vytalibus began to play around with his hands, which were covered with gloves for some reason. "But we knew each other very well. We could tell from the vibes around us on who to stare at," he continued while still half-gazing the floor.

"He's the only one I know very well, LadySuburu. If I lose him, what would remain of me?"

His eyes were already watering down with his own tears. Vytalibus could not hold his emotions anymore. He excused himself, or at least attempted to, and ran away from the woman. He made no more conversation with the others and kept himself in the corner.

Larto finished playing. He was frustrated that he only got past one Level after playing for an hour.

And then, suddenly he actually realized that he was suspected by like half the group.

He got a really bad feeling right now. By voting so early he actually tried to start a discussion, but not in THAT direction that he would be killed because of that. He also only changed his vote just because the beginning vote was not meant to be his real vote, he just tried to get everything started. When he voted for JInxyjem, he did it because of the fact that Jinx was acting weird. He was acting randomly, randomly in a bad way. He's not usually like that. Maybe he was hiding something. That's what Larto thought when he voted for JInx.
"Shit, shit, shit.... I just hope I can get those votes off me.. I really don't want to end like this."
Larto bit his hand, frightened of what might happen later on.

That gunshot that rang shook Pasonia out of his self-induced stupor. As he, like the rest, stepped in and took a good look...

...An honored policeman. To be sure, the gun stated "LAPD 98-501 - Pride of Los Angeles".

The rest watched solemnly, TLOS's blood flowing out of his body still. Already, some of the blood were beginning to dry, and all that was left was a gut-wrenching smell of death.

"Pressure enough to break a policeman down...?"

Pasonia stood in the house a long while, deep in thought and mulling over the latest occurrence.

Jinxy has had enough of this shit. He enters his room and picks up his trusty and modified HTC Touch phone.
He had scanned everything, every word, every clue made by the others. Creating a check list, he copies it into a few folders, and uses infared transmission to send it off to the ones he trust. He snaps on a silver bracelet in his left wrist, and crushes the memory chip in his HTC.

I stated a deadline and I have to stick to it.

I must remain open just in case of last-minute vote changes.

Deadline is 3 PM EST, which is exactly one hour and 42 minutes from the time of this post.

The thirteen participants trudge to the partially-obscured gallows in the back of the town.

The plasma TV hanging above the platform clearly shows the vote tally, with JInxyjem's name at the top in red; as per the directions given on the screen, the rope is tied around his neck, and he is supsended until dead.

JInxyjem is dead by lynch and is now out of the game.

Some participants stayed and pondered a bit longer than others, but all eventually retired to their houses for the night.

Night 1

During This Phase: Wolves discuss their kill and Auxiliary Roles obligated to do so must PM the Host. The board must be SILENT for the duration of the Night phase. I better not see any posts between this one and the official Day 2 declaration post.

Deadline: Tentative deadline for this phase will be 8:00 PM on May 6, which is 2 full days and 5 hours from the time of this post. However, it will end early if I receive and send all necessary PMs before that time.

Vytalibus was a bit indifferent when he saw Pasonia's body. It was more of tension rather than lack of emotion, however. Everyone knew there were five werewolves among them, and even though he wasn't sure if any of those five werewolves were killed, the hunger for blood still lingered among the remaining participants.

He looked around for Larto, but could not see him for now. I wonder if he knew about this incident all along, he thought. Vytalibus was known for his really huge sense of trust, however. He would be persuaded by cold hard evidence before he could even make a decision.

Vytalibus made a random glance at Kuwarudo. He was one of those whom JInx talked to before the latter's lynch. He began to wonder if he had anything to do with this.

LadySuburu jumped the gun and blamed Echo for everything. This made Vytalibus more uncomfortable. She must've really wanted to get Echo off if she knew what she was doing, he pondered.

I will kick this day off by suggesting (not voting) we lynch Loginer. I have reasons to believe he's a wolf.

The seer, psychic, coroner and insomniac should all report on what they've learnt about the people they've checked. The only way to weed out the wolves is to gather as much information as possible.

@ladysuburu: any way I can convince you I'm a civvie?

But what if maybe the Aux-humans don't want to expose that they have the roles? Or the werewolves try to lie, saying that they have the Aux?

It's really hard to give out some information without risking being targetted.

Pasonia was playing Yakuza 2 on the PS3, spending time away. He believed himself to have survived the day pretty well; his behavior - one generally out of place compared to the rest of the team - was pretty low-profile, even if a little queer.

Of course, what he last expected in the darkness of his room was to be dragged out onto the streets so forcefully, that he was thrown from his house's second floor room right out onto the streets.

"Auuuuugh... shit, my back..."

Pasonia winced in pain, groaning quite loudly, before realising that this *is* the kill the mutated wolves are conducting. He knew that death was imminent; there was much less likelihood of surviving a throw-out from the second floor if the person doing the throwing happened to be one of a group, and even less so if it was one of a pack of wolves.

Then, the shrill cries and the howling, one effective enough to strike deep fear, rang near his ears.

Pasonia wished for his bed again, like he did earlier. As the werewolves circled him, Pasonia calmly spoke, even if his mouth was shaking uncontrollably, in the gut-wrenching, piss-inducing face of death:

"When you guys... go back to your human state... tomorrow, remember to get me buried... near my house facing towards the West... on this bed. Get a Taoist priest to conduct my rites."

The werewolves kept closing in; Pasonia could only hope that the werewolves' sane sides were at least, well, humane enough to accede to this last wish. When at last Pasonia felt his soul disconnected with his mangled body, he was happy.

The death of Pasonia was tragic, but painless.

Meanwhile, back in the room, the game paused at a rather cryptic line.

"Men should be a little bit stupid at times; stupidity doesn't get 'em killed faster than being too smart does."

@vytalibus: that's where the guardian angel and priest come into play

But it doesn't matter! It'd make things much easier if we know, or at least think we know, who each person is. A villager has no reason to impersonate, so if anyone does impersonate a role they have to be a wolf

Still OOC:

Echo, we were told each Aux role that would be used in this game before the game started, in the setup phase. We had Vig, Seer, Insomniac, Coroner.

Therefore, there's no guardian angel or priest to save us, unless Ace lets us know that he changed things from what we were told earlier.

Er...we don't have a Psychic. I say this only because I said that for this game we would have a Psychic or a Seer - not both.

Do it via PM then, although that carries its own risks.

What's the list of aux roles we have?

But even if that's the case, put it this way: if the person used their ability, the wolves may have been notified who that person is. Therefore, there is absolutely no reason why they should just say who they are

Then if the insomniac used their ability, they should speak up. They are certainly revealed when they use it.

Otherwise, the other two Aux roles should stay quiet for now. There's no need to know the number of wolves left quite yet IMO. If a lot of you think otherwise, we can vote on it. :3

Since it is no longer part of the Status post, I will reiterate here for the record the list of roles I intended to use in this game.

With 14 players, 5 wolves means 9 humans.

* Coroner
* Vigilante
* Seer
* Insomniac

The rest Civilians (5 of them).

You are technically correct; the best kind of correct. Some Aux roles do come with a risk or mandate of being discovered by the wolves through them either being told your ability was used or even your name.

Standings will be updated with Suburu's and YoshiKart's votes within 5 minutes. Done.

YellowYoshi1 felt as if he was on pins and needles. He knew that this "game" would be dangerous and intense, but nothing could have prepared him for the sense of despair and dread he now had from seeing three people die around him while he was powerless to do anything.

He walked around quietly in the village, surveying the people. One person in particular stood out, and that was YoshiKart. He didn't seem to ever really communicate with the others and was always hasty in his votes. YellowYoshi1 couldn't help but think that there was some reason that he was keeping so quiet and voting so hastily. He decided to go over and attempt a conversation.

"Man... we only got here yesterday and already three people have died... I don't know how much of this I can take..."

YoshiKart, nervous to see someone approaching him, quietly lowered his head in meekness. He managed to make some eye contact when YellowYoshi1 began to talk. But soon after the word "died" left his lips, a vibe of fear came again from all directions and struck YoshiKart.

YoshiKart ran away in shock.

There was definitely something up with this YoshiKart fellow. He hadn't said but one sentence and the guy bolted. YellowYoshi1 was content to find out what the guy was up to though. He chased after YoshiKart and called out, "Oh come on, is that how you treat someone who was just trying to be nice and talk with you?"

His timidness was instantly replaced with frustration and anxiety. However, the fear vibe strangely crawled away...

YellowYoshi1 stopped and was breathing rather heavily from the running, he wasn't in the best shape in the world.

"Well... wouldn't you rather... go through this knowing people and having friends to help you out? Isn't that better than going alone?"

His breathing slowly returned to normal as they stood there. Just what was with this guy? First he was too afraid to say a single word and ran away, and then he was yelling...

"Besides... doesn't the person that goes off all alone usually get killed in a horror movie?"

Finally, after pulling an all-nighter, Kuwarudo can play World of Warcraft.

And as for my vote, this name surfaced up the moment I tried to sleep.

Sir Minelli stars walking around his room while thinking carefully about Pasonia's death...

" Did he drop any good loot?" -He thinks-

Despite having everthing that assures his survival, Sir Minelli is greedy.. Or maybe he just played World of Warcraft too much.

Suddenly he stops walking. He started feeling something strange... yes...
"my stomach has never sounded this hard" -he thinks-

He feels somthing is not good... maybe it was the sausage that he ate.

He runs to the bathroom asap!

As YellowYoshi1 one focused on the race, he was sure he would win. Sure, YoshiKart was ahead, but he was right behind him... and just as YellowYoshi1 was about to pass him for a last minute victory, Vytalibus had pulled the plug. He just sat there with his mouth open in disbelief as Vytalibus lectured them.

After his speech all YellowYoshi1 said was, "...I was about to win..."
