All forms of communication are considered fair play (although Werewolf Game discussion is usually kept mostly in the thread). You may say whatever you want during any Day phase, anywhere you want.
This includes
1) Here in this thread
2) IM clients such as AIM or MSN
3) IRC, be it the original client or Osu's in-game chat
4) E-mail
5) Private messages
Just make sure of two things:
1) You don't talk here during Night phases. (Yes, you can still PM each other and stuff at Night if you want.)
2) You cast your lynch vote HERE. That's one of the two absolutes (the other is that you can't show anyone your Role ID); lynch votes MUST be public so they can be referenced at any time, so even if it would otherwise be convenient, I will NOT accept lynch votes made in chat, e-mail, or PM; the only way your vote will count is when it is cast here in this thread.
You may, of course, discuss with each other who you're planning to vote for (that's not against the rules, and can add to the fun), and if you want, strike deals or make agreements/pacts/whatever where part of the deal is that one or both of you will vote for someone particular.
As long as your final vote decision is here in this thread for all to see, I'll be happy.
Also, some notes on Aux Roles and the whole "you can't show people your Role ID" thing...no, you can't show them your Role ID, but that's it; you can still claim to hold any role you want, and you can even provide information (be it true or false) about what your claim you know because of your role. (This assures Aux Role humans can still try to help, but it's the decision of the other players on whether or not to believe what they're being told.)
And a note to the Wolves (you know who you are); I'd suggest picking a spokesperson who will be responsible for PMing me the name of the person to be killed so you don't all end up sending me a PM every night. Also: you don't have to converse in PM; you can use any form of communication you want, as IM clients make it easy to hold conversations between multiple people at a time, which can allow the discussion to go faster and allow you to arrive at a conclusion faster. Just make sure the Humans don't know where you're talking at.
Remember that I am the Host; if you have any questions, feel free to ask anywhere, anytime (although if it concerns your particular role, it would be best to PM me). If you're an Aux Role and have lost a PM containing information you needed, let me know and I'll re-send it. Role-specific info will always be distributed via forum PM; I will never send reminders using IRC PMs (although if you PM me in-game asking for a reminder, I'll send it, then tell you in-game that I sent it).

to protect his eyes. He opened the door again, the sunlight flooded the whole house with sunlight and he went outside. And then, for, God knows what, it quickly became cloudy. 
He then went back inside, because it wasn't sunny anymore, he opened the windows, which he always closes, because of the insects that sometimes gets in, and he was surprised to see the sun is smiling again. He quickly opened the door, and the sun started to hide again in the clouds. He closed the door and saw the sunlight through the windows, he opened the door again, only to see the sun hiding again! "What is this? A comedy routine?! Forget about it, I'll just play some Left 4 Dead." As he went to the XBOX 360, the sun started to shine again.
