i dont know the complete movement.
arrow keys -> move
Y -> shot
x (on german keyboard) -> Special thing
but whats with the rest?
how can i change between focused shoot (beam) and non focused and the other things?

I don't think there is, but many SWR/IaMP-style characters have been made for MUGEN, such as Flandre, Cirno and EX Reimu. Google MUGEN if you're interested (Although it'll take a long time to gather a good amount of characters and stages).SerChef wrote:

That Touhou cinema thing was pretty boring, I spent ages looking for subs only to find that it actually contains no dialog. The OP was epic though.

Thanks for reminding me how bad I am at touhou(mostly due to lack of playing). Once I understood the UFO system I could at least clear normal. No continue.

Just get more green UFOs and learn to deathbomb. If you can't do the latter, then you should focus on green. If you can do it constantly and end up with zero bombs in stock whenever you lose a life, then either red or green should be fine. If you need Power, get a multicolor and have it absorb a whole lot of Points. Try not to get Blues until you master the game mechanics - points won't grant Extends.

PCB Easy is like EoSD Normal or IN Normal in difficulty. If you can 1cc that, 1ccing PCB Normal should be just a small jump away.

Drizzle: Positive, spellcard damage increases (this shit is bananas)
Cloudy: Positive, decreases spellcard cost by 1, increases card gauge gain rate.
Azure Sky: Positive, Special attacks can cancel into other special attacks
Hail: Positive, spirit orb recovery is 2x, increases bullet-type special damage
Spring Haze: Negative, but only for melee-prominent characters. Disables basic melee, Spirit orbs refill without delay. (learn how to use special melee and you're fine etc.)
Heavy Fog: Positive, Vampiric effect on melee.
Snow: Negative, blocking/being hit drains your card gauge. Positive if you don't suck.
Sunshower: Positive, holy shit this weather is awesome. Blocking melee incorrectly = guardcrushed, crushed orbs regenerate quickly. Negative if all you do is block and you don't know how to crouch (and your opponent knows this).
Sprinkle: Positive, skillcards become level 4 temporarily.
Tempest: Positive, +1 airdashes/flys, hjc on melee attacks.
Mountain Vapor: Negative, hides all your god damn spellcards. Positive if you have good memory (and your opponent doesn't)
River Mist: Negative, normalizes distance between players to longer than where you want it to be.

Fact is, I don't think the fighters were balanced enough for this type of gameplay.
They are if you EV train them.

Oh noes, two days old. I love the Touhou games, even though the only ones I've played are EoSD, IN, and SWR. Bullet curtains = win. I feel like I'm gonna have a seizure every time I play though =P.

After quite a bit of patience, I've succeeded in hacking the music in SWR. It's relatively simple if you know what to do and have the right tools, so PM me if you're interested.
I've been trying to beat Normal EoSD for awhile now but Sakuya always trashes me. I've been trying out these crazy pacifist runs to try and force myself to get better at dodging and I think it's somewhat working, but I still make stupid mistakes and don't bomb as much as I should.
