farto won't choose maps himself. maybe he'll know the map list a little earlier than other players but it's just because he need to add it in this thread.

Nah, it's osu!, not soccer then.. since in soccer, we can't judge while we play, but in osu, we only play till finish and judge in the end. it's separated work in different time.

here aren't only the 4 great asian nations and poland as the favourites (like they werein the last owc), but also nearly every team do have some really good players and the chance to reach higher rounds than round two.

Thing is players like Cookiezi, Rucker, WW and SiLviA are like an huge imbalance. If you have ever spected them play in multi (or play with them) you'd know that they are just monsters they don't really miss a thing at all, even if you put some kind of sick DT or hard HR map they won't miss, it's like you already got an FC (and possibly and SS) for sure. I still think the strongest teams are Korea and Japan but w/e.
korea and taiwan are strong enough even without them. also there are teams like japan or the netherlands or poland. this won't be easy for anybody in this tournament.-Sekai- wrote:

The Group Stage combinations are going to be drawn tomorrow at the time of 16:00 GMT+0.
The drawing will be performed by Natteke.

Also 8 seeded teams have been chosen and these teams will be drawn first to the groups.
These teams are (no particular order):
Chile Netherlands Poland Taiwan United States Japan Russian Federation Republic of Korea
7 teams were chosen according to their performance in the 1st Edition of OWC and 1 (Russia) has been matched after the staff discussion.
Hope for no objections here, we've chosen the best arrangement we could.

Yeah I think it's fine those are indeed the strongest teams I think. Wasn't sure about the US but there isn't really any other outstanding team I think.

You judge the winner while still in-game. After the match the winning team automatically shows up (blue or red) and you know the winner immediately. The failed score doesn't count in this tournament, it has been told some pages ago.Code Miki wrote:
