Adding onto that, the reason for the mass claim is so that with each role we can strategically plan out certain scenarios. If something goes wrong or doesn't happen right we'll know exactly where to look, not to mention things like counter-claiming are possible.
It's hard for someone to make up a role on the spot, and it'd be harder to make up a role after everyone claims before you. If they claim first, you have to hope someone wont counter-claim what you did.

Information is important, we can sit here and go blind eye using all our aux abilities (and I'm pretty sure EVERYONE has an aux) on random people, or we can make a plan and see where the loose ends are.
