It's not awful by any means, but I've read several signatures as part of the post because my screen brightness is way up and I can't see the line properly

Bigger names are good. Less clutter on the left is good (I would maybe even recommend making a smaller supporter icon and sticking it in line with the online/PM/flag icons). Chopping off tall sigs is good. The darkened sig area still being there when there's no sig... hm.

Adding a scrollbar when it gets past a certain height could work. Only downside is that it might occasionally annoy people who scroll with the mouse wheel and have their cursor in someone's sig by accident.
No need for that Sig Scrollbar, that's just silly.
