After reading Eiji's remark about doing most of his (and my) modding in Edit Mode, I realised I forgot to make this related feature request.
Title is self-explanatory. Either in the edit menu or while a beatmap is open, you should be able to select File > Update beatmap to latest. Sometimes I read that someone has made a correction to their beatmap so I open it in edit mode and it takes me a few minutes of "wtf they fixed nothing" to realise I forgot to first go into Play Mode to update the beatmap to latest. Being able to update a beatmap directly from edit mode would be handy, methinks.
If perchance you've slipped it into one of the recent test builds, peppy, then kudos to you for that and I apologize for not noticing; I have not given any of the new post-editor-crippling test builds much of an exercise yet.
