Tablet Gameplay

Hey there, so I've had my tablet for about three days now and this is what I have managed to accomplish and learn within that time. Now please note I wasn't an amazing mouse player or anything and in fact I never even used the keys before I got this so although this may not seem impressive it is for me. Also is there a better way I could be spinning on the spinners? Doing small circles around the middle seems to be the best way for me but it is sometimes inconsistent.

Thanks =D

One thing to actually be good at the game, rather then playing the song a hundred times to get a good play of it.

Showing us what you're doing wrong is a whole lot more helpful than showing us what you're doing right.

In other words, a flawless playthrough will tell us that you're good with the patterns in that song (not particularly useful), or that you've just played that song a bunch of times so you can get a good playthrough to make a video of (also not particularly useful for us).

Post a video of you playing a random song that is beyond your skill level. Show us what you fail at, so we can suggest stuff for you to train and stop failing at those things.

In general though, playing things above your skill level is a much better learning experience than repeatedly playing songs that you are comfortable with. If you can S a song, then great, you don't have much more to learn from it. If you can't pass a certain large jump (for example) in a harder song, then trying until you are able to pass it will give you that experience to tackle similar sequences in other maps.

As for the spinner, I typically use very small circles - I had my tablet before I picked up osu!, so the motions were already natural. You're spinning rather slow, but you did after all pick up your tablet 3 days ago. The only advice I can tell you is to just practice using your tablet until it becomes second-nature to do things. Generally, you feel "comfortable" with a tablet after an hour or two of using it, but it will generally take around a month or two to feel completely "natural" using it. Try drawing with your tablet - it is after all the intended purpose of it.

tl;dr - Rather than show us what you can accomplish, show us what you can't, then ask for specific advice for based on those shortcomings. Also use your tablet for stuff to get used to it.
