I understand the hype isn't an indicator of when a map is ready for ranking. What I'm saying is that, from what I see, this indicates how much the community wants this to get ranked, going over 150. Of course, you only need 5, but people still click the hype button, which shows their enthusiasm. From a technical sense, it's useless, but from the community, it's clear they want ranked status. Now I don't know if support from the community is essential for the decisions of the BN's, but those are my thoughts.
