Based on my observation, the main order should be when the score was achieved (from old to new, or we can say it as the id order of the score), but I'm not 100% sure. Atm mostly recalculations are done.

Since the old rank system is calculated by Scores, not pp. (ppv1 was launched in April 2012 and the game itself was released in September 2007)
approved maps also give pp. The only difference between ranked maps and approved maps is that the latter do not give Total Ranked Scores.
