Artist: Cavetown
Title: Devil Town

bandcamp ver. has lowercase title and artist but both are primary so either are fine
the whistle that you use is honestly pretty annoying to hear on repeat since it gets spammed for the vocals/melody and maybe it is personal preference but i dont think using a shamisen/oriental-like sample really fits with a rock song all that well lol
I'm not sure if the slider-ends of these sliders were meant to be hit sounded would recommend removing them,
00:19:293 (2), 00:34:893 (3), 01:01:143 (3), 01:08:943 (2), 02:11:493 (3)
00:19:143 - 00:31:593 (2,3) - msising snares (tho id k if intentional? choices of snare hitsounding throughout intro makes these timestmaps feel like they shoudl have snares) -> yes hella agree except for the second timestamp provided cause 1,2 objects are supposed to be snared but not the 2,3, looks like you were looking at paka's extra tho
01:30:843 - vs. 01:21:243 - 01:22:443 - 01:23:643 - hitsounded kick here feels fitting -> yes my sincerest apologies original gangster
fixed both
more volume variation to contrast the choruses would be cool since those (and to another extent the solo 02:24:093 - here feel like the more intense parts):
intros and bridges like 00:19:293 -> 00:38:493 02:14:493 -> 02:24:093 - could be like -10%
verses like 00:38:493 -> 00:57:693 01:16:893 -> 02:04:893 could be like -20%
up to you but 80% all the way through feels like avoidably weak representation cus the song varies in intensity throughout
The audio bitrate is too high, you can use audacity to lower the bitrate to under 192kbps. :)
The normal diff is named "Cavetown_-_Devil_Town_The_Honeysticks_Aranels_Normal (1).osu", you should remove the (1).
hi! unfortunately, your mp3 is over 192kbps AND its bloated which means its unrankable
the good news is that i do have a better mp3 which actually isnt bloated,
download it here and replace the mp3 already in your beatmaps folder with this one: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/944060012244910100/1077351966306488434/audio.mp3
change every difficulty's offset by: +79ms

heres one compressed to 192kbps without needing to change the map's offset if you wanna use @the honeysticks. the speks between this and bossgodora's version are about the same as well https://ren.s-ul.eu/z67HHNie
00:19:293 - 00:38:493 - i think using whistles for melody in this specific part would be better for feedback (especially 00:25:893 (1,1,1) - these will be better with whistles)
or if u dont wanna whistle-spam, you can just use whistle for 00:25:893 (1,1,1) - 00:35:493 (1,1,1) - these rhythms (timestamps taken from topdiff)
