00:01:759 (1759|1,1866|1,1973|1,2081|1,2295|1,2402|1,2509|1) - 左手压力太大
00:02:081 (2081|1,2188|0,2295|1) - 可以把这三个note左右换一下位置
00:03:152 (3152|2,3152|0,3152|3,3259|3,3259|1,3259|0,3366|3,3366|2,3366|0) - The way this plays is pretty weird. It's entirely alternating in the inner columns, and with the 1st column anchor at 00:03:152 (3152|0,3259|0,3366|0,3473|0,3581|0) it isn't enjoyable to play to. How about moving 00:03:366 (3366|0) to the 2nd col? That alone would improve the gameplay.
00:04:331 (4331|2,4331|0,4438|3,4438|1,4545|1,4545|3,4545|0,4652|2,4652|0,4759|1,4759|2,4866|3,4866|1) - This was a little awkward to play, the way it relies a lot on split doubles during this segment and the strain on the left hand compared to the right makes it messy and a little sporadic. Suggestion:
00:10:652 (10652|2,10759|2,10866|2) - With the way this plays out in your patterns, it's a little bit of a rough transition to make in gameplay. I think this would play better if 00:10:866 (10866|2,10973|1) was switched around.
00:15:259 (15259|2,15313|1,15366|2,15420|1,15473|3,15473|2,15527|1,15527|0,15581|2,15581|3) - The rise of the kick is still really soft by this point, so the long inner trill feels a little too early and straining in this context especially with 00:15:206 (15206|1) making it begin prematurely. Instead, I think it'd flow better if 00:15:259 (15259|2) was in 4th col and 00:15:313 (15313|1) in 1st.
00:15:634 - I would recommend you to remove the minijack by deleting 00:15:634 (15634|1) - 00:15:688 (15688|0) - , similar reasons as #3707286
00:18:688 (18688|3,18795|2,18902|0,18902|1,19116|3,19116|2) - I feel like since the melody here is soft and a solo to as a build up to the next segment, the doubles are a little much. How about doing something like this to represent the melody?
actually i mapped it to the melody.
00:19:544 (19544|3,19544|2,19758|2,19758|1) - and i don't think it's necessary to have both doubles on the same track because the two sounds are not the same.
00:21:473 (21473|3,21473|2,21581|0,21688|2,21795|0,21902|3,21902|1) - Since the synths change here to sound more "distorted", I do think you could change up the releases a bit to emphasis that. The current one in gameplay felt a little awkward to play and with its expression doesn't make the synths stand out.
00:21:902 (21902|1) - if you express this distortion effect like on 00:21:473 (21473|3) - with an extended LN, you should do the same here by extending the LN to 00:22:170 - , because the effect is clearly audible here
00:22:331 (22331|1) - you could snap the end of the LN to 00:22:438 - to express the fadeout of the synth, similar to 00:25:973 -
00:25:331 (25331|2,25384|0,25438|2,25491|0,25545|3,25598|1,25652|3,25706|1,25759|2,25813|0,25866|2) - These notes are basically mapped the same way as 00:20:831 (20831|3,20884|1,20938|3,20991|1) - but they don't have that stutter effect, so I would recommend to make them regular LNs
00:38:831 (38831|1) - There's an intense rapid amen break here, I feel like one LN is a little underwhelming for this. How about doing something like this so it stands out but doesn't take away from the pattern after and still plays well?
00:40:009 (40009|1) - How about moving this to 1st col to make this a jack and emphasize the amen break sound?
00:41:188 (41188|3,41188|2,41295|3,41402|2,41509|2,41509|3,41616|3,41831|3,41831|2,42045|3,42045|2,42152|3,42152|2) - I feel like the way this plays on the right hand is a little irritating and makes for a rough transition with the patterns after. How about doing something like this?
00:44:509 (44509|1) - I think it would be better to move this to another collumn, since you allready have a pretty fast minijack at 00:44:322 (44322|1,44402|1) -
00:48:045 (48045|3,48045|1,48152|1,48152|3,48259|0,48259|2,48366|2,48366|0) - May just be me, but I find that this plays a little awkwardly. With the way 00:47:188 (47188|1,47402|1,47616|1,47723|1,47884|1) plays out, there's quite some strain and focus on the 2nd column, to the point that transitioning to the trill is awkward due to the finger already putting effort into holding two LNs before it in the same column. It's a pretty jarring transition.
Suggestion:
00:50:188 (50188|1,50188|0) - I think these should be LNs because 00:50:616 (50616|0,50616|1,50616|2) - are LNs aswell and have the same sound besides the drum. You can shorten the releases to make room for the drum notes
00:52:813 (52813|3,52973|3,53081|3,53188|3,53348|3,53509|3,53616|3) - There's a lot of focus here on the 4th col compared to the others. With how the patterns play out, it causes a little strain on the right hand which doesn't feel as natural. How about moving 00:53:348 (53348|3) to 1st col?
00:54:688 - I think this should be a double, you can rearange the pattern a bit if you don't want to make a mini jack here or delete 00:54:902 (54902|1) -
00:54:902 (54902|3,55009|2) - The synths here are pretty significant, I don't think one LN would suffice for it. How about something like this?
00:56:402 (56402|0) - you should either delete this note or add a note at 00:56:723 - and 00:57:045 - to stay consistant with the sounds
00:56:509 - maybe make a minijack for the left hand, so there aren't 3 minijacks on the same hand in the row, see 00:56:188 (56188|2,56295|2) - 00:56:509 (56509|3,56616|3) - 00:56:831 (56831|2,56938|2) -
01:01:384 (61384|1,61438|2,61491|0,61598|2,61652|1,61706|3) - The sounds here are pretty different in their intensity. The first half is a more gradual rise while the second half immediately emphasizes the synth at its highest. To express that, I think it'd be more fitting to remove 01:01:491 (61491|0) to show the difference between the intensities.
01:04:813 (64813|1,64920|3,65027|1,65134|3,65241|1,65348|3,65456|1), 01:06:527 (66527|3,66848|1) - I don't hear anything that these notes represent- it's not exactly accentuating any sounds either, it's just the breaks in this segment along with the 1/2 piano. These would be better off removed.
Instead, you could do something like this?
01:06:045 - 01:07:223 There's a lot of strain on the right hand here, especially on the 3rd column when it comes to notes like 01:06:688 (66688|2,66795|2,66929|2,67009|2,67170|2) and 01:06:045 (66045|3,66152|3,66259|3,66366|3,66527|3,66688|3) which is really strenuous, even for the amen breaks. It's an abrupt spike in gameplay which is pretty irritating.
-> An idea: I think you could emphasize the two different sounds in the melody by playing with the LN releases to show a visual distinction. How about something like this?
01:14:188 patterns here with jumps are tricky to hit imo, try doing a bump instead of a jump. suggestion : 1/8 bump with 1.5x -> 0.5x -> 1x (it might look even more brutal than intended, but since the patterns look like 1x now, this is miles easier to read.)
(if this is too brutal, consider 1.3x -> 0.5x -> 0.9x)
(if this is too tame, try doing 1.8x -> 0.01x -> 0.9x)
01:15:473 (75473|0) - I don't know if that was intentional but the LN should be on the 1/1 snap to be consistant with 01:15:045 (75045|3,75259|2) - because they sound the same. Same with 01:15:688 (75688|1) -
01:20:188 (80188|3,80402|0,80616|2,80831|1) - How about changing these to 1/2 LNs to emphasize the change in the sounds? It's a different note from the LNs before it so it's a little odd to use the same LN patterns for different iterations.
01:21:688 (81688|2,81688|3,81741|0,81741|1,81795|3,81795|2) - I think the doubles here are a little much for what it's expressing. While there is a different sound coming in, it's still pretty subtle so the transition from trills to rapid doubles feels like overemphasis. How about removing 01:21:688 (81688|2,81741|1,81795|2) to make a different trill for the other sound?
01:22:545 - 01:23:295 -> There's a lot of strain on the inner columns here, which makes the inner trill at 01:22:759 (82759|1,82866|2,82973|1,83081|2,83188|1) pretty awkward in gameplay. How about moving 01:22:973 (82973|1) to 1st col to emphasize the amen break and flow better with the patterns to the inner columns?
01:23:777 (83777|2) - the drum should be here for the right snap, because the drumroll stops on the 1/2 beat
01:24:152 (84152|2,84259|3,84366|2,84420|3,84473|2,84581|3,84688|3,84795|2,84902|3,85009|3) - This is really awkward in gameplay. The strain on the right hand when it comes to the 4th column makes the other patterns pretty jarring with the other fingers, and creates an uncomfortable effect in gameplay.
01:25:331 - 01:26:188, 01:28:759 - 01:29:616, 01:32:188 - 01:33:045
I think the way the synths are being expressed along with the amen breaks could be done better, as well as gameplay. Some notes are subtle with its speed in what its intending to express, like 01:25:384 (85384|1), and LNs starting at 1/4 snap like 01:25:384 (85384|1) are a little odd considering the synths noticeably rise in a 1/2 progression. As a result, the gameplay felt weird.
How about something like this?
01:27:902 (87902|1,87902|0,87902|3,88009|2,88116|1,88116|3,88116|0,88223|2) - Shouldn't these alternate? You do it at 01:24:473 (84473|2,84473|0,84688|3,84688|1). You might have to move some notes around if that's the case.
01:29:938 (89938|1,90045|0,90152|1,90259|0,90366|1,90420|0,90527|1,90554|0,90688|0,90688|1,90795|1) - This is very straining on the left hand, especially when it transitions to the burst, it gets very awkward with the patterns. It keeps going to the left with 01:30:795, so the entire segment just feels very straining on that side.
Suggestion:
01:32:081 (92081|2) - How about moving this to 4th col to emphasize the "woosh"-like sound reaching a high note with the double using the outermost-columns?
On second thought it makes the pattern at 01:32:188 (92188|3,92348|3,92509|3,92616|3) play awkwardly from the 4th col bias. I think the best choice would be to move 01:32:081 (92081|3,92188|2) one column to the left. Sorry xd
01:33:259 (93259|3,93259|1,93366|3,93473|1) - May just be me, but I think this would flow better in gameplay if it went like this:
Looks like the screenshot isn't working.
I was suggesting to move 01:33:259 (93259|1,93473|1) to 4th col and 01:33:366 (93366|3) to 2nd
No it's a pretty necessary change, because it's the only part in the song that uses this concept, but the second beat has a snare compared to the first. You can still use the tripple for the very first note. More example of this usage: 00:41:188 - to 00:42:045 - , 01:47:616 - to 01:49:331 - and 03:02:188 - to 03:22:759 - The parts don't sound the same but the drum concept is still the same
01:44:402 (104402|0,104509|1,104616|1) - I found this a little awkward to play with the way it transitions from the patterns below it. How about moving 01:44:509 (104509|1) to col 3? I think this flows better in gameplay.
01:49:759 (109759|2) - Unnecessary LN? The piano is being expressed with 01:49:831 (109831|0,109902|1) so it feels out of place here.
Same with 02:12:688 (132688|1)
01:50:402 (110402|1,110473|0,110616|0,110616|1,110831|0,110938|1,110991|0,111045|1) - The way the patterns play out in the left hand here is a little awkward, especially the way the OH trill on the left comes in at 01:50:938 (110938|1,110991|0,111045|1). It doesn't feel natural. How about something like this?
01:50:509 (110509|3) - Representing the 1/2 drum here is a little messy when combined with the 1/3 piano notes when played. I think it'd be better to remove this for better flow. Also because you don't represent it at 01:49:652 so it's also a little inconsistent.
Same with 02:12:795 (132795|3)
01:51:473 (111473|2) - Since this is the same pitch as 01:51:259 (111259|3), how about moving it to col 4? Could also move 01:51:688 (111688|1) to col 3 so it's not as focused on the left hand and better flow
I would make 01:53:188 (113188|3) - 01:53:616 (113616|0) - 01:54:045 (114045|2) - the same length to stay consitant with 01:52:759 (112759|0) - by rearanging the patterns a bit and making 01:53:402 (113402|1) - a 1/2 LN, because it doesn't need to be 1/1. Here is an example:
01:55:759 (115759|0,115759|1) - The melody here ends a little more abruptly than the LNs before it, I think reducing to 1/2 for this would be more fitting as it could catch the player off guard in gameplay to hold onto more than necessary all of a sudden.
01:58:116 (118116|2) - I don't think this LN in necessary, because you didn't use an LN for the background noise here 01:59:188 - or here 01:59:402 - . Alternatively you could add an LN there but I would just recommend to leave it out
02:01:973 (121973|2,122081|1) - The piano here is a lot more clearer and significant than the others. I think it'd be nice to move these to col 4 and 1 respectively to emphasize that change in the piano's intensity.
Similarly, I think 02:02:616 (122616|2,122723|1) should be reduced to 1/4 because the piano is fading out by this point, so it's a little odd to have it extend instead.
02:03:902 (123902|3) - Reduce release to 1/6? When you compare the two LNs at 02:03:902 (123902|3,124009|1), they are drastically different from what's being emphasized. Keeping the last one as the only 1/2 would make it more impactful to emphasize the change to the beep.
02:08:295 (128295|0,128509|0,128723|0) - The left hand repeats a trill-like pattern with the 1st column a lot here, which felt a little weird in gameplay. How about something like this?
02:09:581 (129581|1), 02:13:116 (133116|0), 02:13:438 (133438|1), 02:15:581 (135581|2), 02:16:438 (136438|3,136652|0)
-> Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't hear anything warranting these LNs. Sounds like they should be regular notes or no note at all. It makes the LN patterns in this segment pretty vague and unclear as a result.
02:13:116 (133116|0) - I can hear this for that melody
02:15:581 (135581|2) - this is for same structure like 02:15:045 (135045|0,135152|1) -
others is now deleted!
02:22:116 - 02:23:188 -> The way this plays out on the left hand is pretty rough due to how much trill-like patterns there are on the 1st column compared to the others, such as 02:22:116 (142116|0,142223|0,142331|1,142438|0,142545|1,142652|0,142759|0). It makes the transition to 02:22:973 (142973|1,142973|0,143081|0) awkward and a little irritating.
How about something like this?
02:24:473 (144473|0,144473|2,144688|2,144688|0,144795|2,144795|0) - Considering the melody is at a high key here, I think it'd be more fitting to move these to col 4 to emphasize the high note with a [14] double.
02:37:652 (157652|1,157759|1,157866|1,157973|1,158134|1,158295|1) - I think the way this plays out with your other patterns makes the 2nd col a little jarring and strenuous to play, especially with the transition to the left-handed trills at 02:37:973 (157973|1,158081|0,158134|1,158188|0,158295|1,158402|0,158509|1).
02:39:473 (159473|0) - May just be me but I found the transition from the release here to the bursts a little awkward when it comes to holding the LN along the drumroll notes. I think just reducing it by 1/4 makes it flow better
02:41:295 (161295|2,161348|3,161456|2,161509|3,161616|3) - personally I feel like this pattern is uncomfortable to hit, because these two 1-hand rolls go into a shield
02:43:973 (163973|2) - snap this to the 1/4 beat to stay consistant with 02:43:438 (163438|1) -
actually, 03:24:259 (204259|0,204259|1,204366|3,204366|2) - this sounnd same with 03:27:688 (207688|1,207795|2) -
so i would like to keep it
03:31:170 (211170|1,211223|2,211331|1,211384|2,211491|1,211545|2) -
这里加一个ctrl+H会顺手很多,因为去掉了单手的小钩
而且翻过来还更有一致性一点
03:31:652 - 03:32:188
-> The way this plays on the left hand is a little rough from how straining it gets with 03:31:759 (211759|0,211813|1,211920|1,211973|0,212081|1,212134|0,212188|1). It focuses a lot on trill-like patterns especially with the 2nd column, which breaks the flow of your streams here and plays a little awkward.
03:34:116 (214116|2,214223|3,214331|3,214331|2,214438|2,214545|3,214652|2) - The sudden strain on the right hand here felt like an abrupt and jarring transition in gameplay. It catches the player off guard, especially with the transition from the bursts to having to hold an LN with a right-handed jack at 03:34:331 (214331|2,214331|3,214438|2).
How about switching the columns of 03:34:438 (214438|2,214545|0)? I think this plays a lot better and flows well with the intensity.
03:37:973 (217973|1) - 03:37:866 (217866|3) - I think these two notes should also be LNs, because I don't the a reason to not make them LNS
04:13:116 (253116|0,253116|1,253223|3,253223|2,253331|2,253331|3,253331|0,253331|1) - The way these play is really rough. The reverse shields are really tricky to play with the structure you've established and because of the speed required to hit both the releases and the quad. It's a questionable difficulty spike with the patterns. On top of that, I'm not really sure what the short LNs there are meant to accentuate as there isn't a sound warranting these, just a kick.
My suggestion would just be to turn the short LNs to regular notes. The 3/4 LNs are enough to emphasize the melody in this case.
04:13:331 - 04:16:116 -> I think the quad usage in this segment was used a little too much - The only sound that stands out during this segment is the big crash in places like 04:13:331. But the quads in between like 04:13:545 don't have anything standing out in the music, so it muddles the impact of the first quad for the crash. I think it'd be more fitting to make quads like 04:13:545 triples for the melody and keep the quads for the crash.
04:16:920 (256920|0,256920|1) - 没有变单押的理由
这里不是三押,04:16:973 (256973|3,257016|1,257059|2,257102|0,257145|1) - 是snare的延长音
04:17:531 (257531|0,257573|1,257616|0) - This trill at its current speed is really jarring to hit considering everything else the player has to go through right before it. I would suggest to sacrifice emphasis and consistency a bit and remove 04:17:616 (257616|0) to make this flow better in gameplay with how demanding and dense it already is.
04:18:002 (258002|3,258045|2,258116|2,258152|3) - This one handed trill was really uncomfortable to hit considering the speed and the patterns before it, as it creates a 1/3 jack in the process which creates rough and straining bias on the right.
Some rearrangement can be done to follow the intensity while still playing well. How about something like this?
Oh, my concern wasn't about what it was representing. I know what it's mapped to- my concern was that the way it plays is really uncomfortable and irritating even for a hard map. At a high BPM and with how dense everything is, the pattern I highlighted requires some really awkward wrist movements that makes the transitions between patterns really jarring and a bit painful with hand movement. It's not an enjoyable experience.
My suggestion was to just move the notes around so that it plays better while still representing the melody, and still provides a challenge.
04:18:081 (258081|1,258116|2,258152|3) - these can be snapped to 1/4 because they are not as intense as the drumrolls and the fadeout sound stops at 04:18:259 -
actually, 04:18:045 (258045|0,258081|1,258116|2,258152|3) - this sound is more dense than 04:17:873 (257873|2,257916|1,257959|0,258002|3) -
