It's a pretty jarring transition.

I think the way the synths are being expressed along with the amen breaks could be done better, as well as gameplay. Some notes are subtle with its speed in what its intending to express, like 01:25:384 (85384|1), and LNs starting at 1/4 snap like 01:25:384 (85384|1) are a little odd considering the synths noticeably rise in a 1/2 progression. As a result, the gameplay felt weird.

How about something like this?

  • The synths ending 1/4 earlier in their LNs was done for better flow with the patterns. That's up to you.

No it's a pretty necessary change, because it's the only part in the song that uses this concept, but the second beat has a snare compared to the first. You can still use the tripple for the very first note. My suggestion would just be to turn the short LNs to regular notes. The 3/4 LNs are enough to emphasize the melody in this case.

Oh, my concern wasn't about what it was representing. I know what it's mapped to- my concern was that the way it plays is really uncomfortable and irritating even for a hard map. At a high BPM and with how dense everything is, the pattern I highlighted requires some really awkward wrist movements that makes the transitions between patterns really jarring and a bit painful with hand movement. It's not an enjoyable experience.

My suggestion was to just move the notes around so that it plays better while still representing the melody, and still provides a challenge.
