00:10:988 - I think that such patterns are suitable for this part https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/17944498/c054 or https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/17944502/7aef
Well, it's not that it would be too dense, it's just that different instrument are being played. Also, this particular timestamp has the vocals doing something unique compared to the rest of the section, which is represented by the by the those stacks 00:30:988 (30988|0,31113|0,31238|0,31363|3,31488|3,31613|3) -. No changes here.
keypoint of chordjack vocal mapping is trying patterns that are more aggressive for core parts, with appropriate repetitions
00:30:988 - problem here is that, if you try to balance both hands then as chordjack pattern itself has the problem of not having much diversity that players may not well match up patterns with vocals
try out https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/17976920/93fe
00:39:238 (39238|3) - try moving to col 4->1, point here is that it is not always the best to vary the note placements, but stacking on the same column can make how patterns play better, while it does not harm the sense of sound division as latter double becomes straight jacks
try applying similar ideas on all the other parts, map is overall a little opaque
Um, sure I can do that, tho I'm not sure what opaque means here. I'll try applying a similar idea to other parts.
00:40:988 - vocal intensity relation is reversed here so needs to be fixed
try placing more notes
personally i'd try something like
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/17976934/3f33
which breaks the chordjack style for certain vocals
however this may not fit your taste for this map
Yea, I know the intensity of this small part is lower than the rest of the section, but, like you said, it doesn't fit my taste for the map, your suggestion I mean. I'd rather keep that as it is.
I'd rather keep them as double. I only focus on the fact that it's a vocal regardless of it's intensity. The piano is not a instrument I follow in thie first two kiais and I don'T really consider it a short section on its own. So no changes there.
Mmm, well tbh, I don't think it's an issue enough to have to be changed. I like it the way it is right now.
Tho for the second point, I guess i'll do the 34 14 pattern.
Hmmm, I'd rather not tbh. It owuld be the only place in the whlole map with 1/4 minijacks. I like it better the way it is right now.
01:27:488 - vocal (su-i) feels quite connected so how about not chordjacking
something similar like
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/17976938/fc0a
bruh.
I'm not a fan of that idea it feels weird to me, especially if putting it in 1/5. Honestly, I'd rather keep the jacks here.
iiiii don,t why i have't put any notes there. Nor how I didn't notice while testing xd. Added.
01:47:988 - judging by the rhythm of the piano, jacks should roughly look like this due to the variation in sound
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/17944519/1f33 as an example
same here 01:55:988 -
yea, it would make more sense, tho it would make it easier than In!sane, but I made the piano sounds double to represent them.
I'm tempted, but I also want to keep the jack on the high pitch piano (like 01:59:238 (119238|3,119363|3) - ) on col 4, but if I had quads, it would create a 5 notes jack which doesn't really fit the section. So after much internal deliberation, I opted to keep them as triples.
Mmm, I actually like that idea. It happened often that the players I'd spectate would miss the last two notes cuz they thought the map was over xd. Though, I feel like 1/5 fits better. I'll do the same for the top for diff, with different snaps
