00:00:252 (252|0) - 00:02:430 (2430|0,2628|2) - cant really get what thats LN for
00:03:222 - 00:04:410 - do LN for piano chord? like u do in 00:05:004 (5004|0) -
00:05:994 (5994|2) - and 00:07:182 (7182|2) - should be make consistent, bcuz they are having same rhythm
->00:00:252 (252|0) - and 00:02:430 (2430|0,2628|2) - were used when high piano sounds were heard long, but was not used if the dissonant chord was heard like at 00:02:034 - .
-> 00:05:004 (5004|0) - was much longer than those.
-> Since 00:07:182 - doesn't have any chord sound, I put single LN only.
Dub dadub dadub dub
00:02:232 (2232|1,2430|0) - these two are the same pitch, consider to move it rogether in the same column
초반 부분 노트를 음계에 맞추신거같은데
00:08:172 (8172|1) - 요 노트 00:07:974 (7974|3) - 와 같은 음인거같아서 3으로 옮기면 좋을거같아요.
I disagree. The pitch height of 00:08:172 (8172|1) - is lower than 00:07:974 (7974|3) - so I think it'd be better to keep as it is.
요 부분에서 00:14:014 (14014|1) - 이 노트가 00:13:915 시간에 있는 노트 배치와 같은 배치 면 더 느낌있을거같아요.
3연음을 살리신 배치라면
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16371899/fe3f
아 근데 배치가 애매하긴하네요 ㅠ
Rather than releasing it in 1/1, I thought it'd be better if I match the release of those LNs at the start of 00:15:053 (15053|2) - this normal note to emphasize the short instrument sound a bit.
Was it odd and too inconsistent with 00:15:301 (15301|3,15301|2) - ? If it was, I can snap these LN's release at 1/1 though.
Both LN are not accurately having exact length with the sound anyways. but then this 2 1/4 notes 00:14:806 (14806|1,14880|2) - is covering on top of 00:14:954 (14954|3,14954|0,15004|1,15053|2) which make that LN beat less stands out. the sound is faint enough that it doesn't need to be highlighted, and as this 200 bpm. those 1/4 are really disrupting play on the LN Beat.
Additionally you also didn't map this sound 00:14:707, but i think it's still acceptable to not.
this are my pattern proposal: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16604986/03e9
00:15:400 (15400|0,15450|1,15499|3,15549|2,15598|1) - Things is kind of overly mapped, It's only consist 3 notes of 1/4 https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16592483/6ce6
00:16:911 (16911|2,17109|2,17505|2,17703|2) -
could be better if you change svs for these four to
16911,-50,4,2,1,50,0,0
16961,-100,4,2,1,50,0,0
17010,-166.666666666667,4,2,1,50,0,0
17060,-250,4,2,1,50,0,0
17109,-50,4,2,1,50,0,0
17159,-100,4,2,1,50,0,0
17208,-166.666666666667,4,2,1,50,0,0
17258,-250,4,2,1,50,0,0
17505,-50,4,2,1,50,0,0
17555,-100,4,2,1,50,0,0
17604,-166.666666666667,4,2,1,50,0,0
17654,-250,4,2,1,50,0,0
17703,-50,4,2,1,50,0,0
17753,-100,4,2,1,50,0,0
17802,-166.666666666667,4,2,1,50,0,0
17852,-250,4,2,1,50,0,0
will be smoother, and personally i think sounds here need more "continuous" sv but not stutter
also for the same svs after
also fo like 00:41:961 (41961|1,42555|2,43149|1,43743|2,44337|1,44931|2) - , stutters reduce the playability too much
00:18:766 - You left something like this 00:18:469 (18469|1,18519|2) without LN, It's noticeable as you played it, where the escalating pitch of synth are mapped as LN stairs. 00:18:742 (18742|3) - I also found this is not right snapping as it should be in the snapping 1/6 https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16592507/ed21
I see. This was for the emphasize of the tick sound that actually starts at 00:18:742 - and it highlights at 00:18:766 - . So it wasn't a mistake, it was an intended snap, so I want to keep this pattern for now.
If you think this is not just a snap mistake but also has an additional problem, please comment further. :)
00:18:964 (18964|1,19113|1,19261|1,19360|1,19459|1) -
The anchor here kind of reduces the emphasis of the triples jacks, suggest move 00:19:113 (19113|1) - to col 1
00:25:103 (25103|0,25202|2,25202|1,25202|3) -
I feel some inconsistent here when playing, I suggest either change 00:25:103 (25103|0) - to col 3 or
change 00:27:479 (27479|2) - to col 1
(I prefer the first way to ignore the pitch and emphasize the structure)
00:26:390 - I was expecting mirrored concept of 00:24:014 https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16592596/bfe6 .Current pattern it's acceptable but there's should be a reason for you to do so and what is it?
00:27:875 (27875|3) -
move this to col 3? since
00:27:578 (27578|3,27677|3,27776|1) - and
00:27:875 (27875|2,27974|2,28073|0) - are basically the same
00:28:766 (28766|0,28865|0,28964|0,29063|0,29360|0,29459|0,29558|0,29657|0,29954|0) - Same issues where you didn't mirroring your pattern. These are huge spike on the run where you put LN continuously with Jack and those you didn't apply on the next pattern at 00:31:143 my suggestion is simply like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16592624/e788
// Oh, this is my mistake. I'll apply your example. But I want to keep the double at 00:29:261 - from that example for the particular pitch height at 00:29:261 - .
Would it be okay?
//
i don't get it, you are pointing the same timeline. I check through the map and there's nothing else that has double for particular pitch height. So i think it's very isolated and you don't have to double it.
But if you want to keep double, then 00:31:638 (31638|1) - this has to be double too as it same beat and pitch
00:29:261 (29261|2,29261|3) - You left this into double note, mostly a release LN had just single note instead
Just like what I said at #2354219 , I think the pitch height of the sound at 00:29:261 - was worth to express as double, unlike 00:31:638 - .
If you think that particular pitch height is not worth to express as a double and creates the diff-spike, I can reduce it as a double. But if you think it's okay if it has any reason for this double, I'd like to keep it.
00:30:648 (30648|0,30747|2) -
any specific reason you are not making these doubles? I believe in this section you are mapping melody into doubles, it's kind of wired ending it with single notes, especially the pitch on these 2 notes is much higher than other notes.
00:33:024 (33024|3,33123|3) -
same for here, personally I would still suggest changing them to doubles, but since the pitch here is lower and the sound is less tense, I'm fine with singles too.
00:34:608 (34608|2,34707|0) -
I've mod this in Giga diff
it's the same problem, pitch here are going up if we going to care about PR
00:34:707 - to 00:35:598 - etc , i think stacking in 1/3 and 2/3 could be more fit with the melody and consistent, like https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16000621/c987
00:35:895 (35895|3,35994|3,36093|3) - etc, by the melody, stacking 00:35:994 (35994|3,36093|3,36192|1) - is more fit
00:39:162 (39162|0,39187|1,39212|2,39237|3,39385|1) - I think these slight part aren't represented completely. between 00:39:311 - 00:39:385 you miss dubstep that snap in 1/8 https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16592681/7bad
Umm I thought if I express this growling sound with 1/8, would be too smooth that doesn't really emphasize this strong growling sound.
So, I thought rather than snapping as 1/8, using 1/12 instead would be better. And between 00:39:311 - to 00:39:385 - can be expressed with a release of these 1/12 LN as well I think.
00:40:351 (40351|1,40351|2,40375|0,40499|1) - Same as at 00:39:162 - a combination of 1/12 and 1/8 could be fit here. There's an SV here too that need to be rearranged if you intent to change the current pattern https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16592698/ae77
00:59:360 (59360|3,59360|0,59360|2,59435|3,59484|1,59583|1) - These are unsnapped.
I believe all of them are 1/6 snap.
LNs from 01:02:034 - to 01:03:222 - were for the synth sounds. I think it'd be much better to keep them as a LN even though it will be a little duplicated expression with 01:01:737 (61737|0,61836|2,61935|1) - .
01:04:113 (64113|3) -
Here we can emphasize that sound better with this pattern https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16293052/62ab
amm I right? uwu
Please tell me what is that sound called, so I'll remember it lol
01:13:735 - this SV is too fast imo. On the first time I played this map this SV is really unexpected - and makes it hard to accurately hit couple of notes that come after in the slowjam part. I suggest lowering it. A good value I found is around the range of 1.4-1.8 (personally I want it to be 1.6, but if you insist on it being faster then do 1.8)
From 01:23:123 to 01:23:271, it's odd when you here THAT sound which idk what it is, but imo we should place a note there, either 4 notes for all of the sound like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16328423/06c1 or even a single LN from 01:23:123 to 01:23:271 would be nice too!
Plus the LN here 01:22:232 (82232|1) - should be extended until 01:24:608, since you can clearly hear the piano is still there after you release the LN, and it would fits if you accept the suggestion too
Ok but I'd like to express it a little lighter than that like this : https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16342243/53da due to its slowjam
01:28:271 (88271|0,88469|1) -
These are same pitch, should be in the same column.
But not this 01:28:370 (88370|0) -
01:29:459 (89459|3,89657|1) - these too
Well, this can be ignored, since PR doesn't really matter at this one I think
01:30:549 - - 01:31:440 -
this part has hand unbalance
I can see that you handled the balance in the later sections, but the double LNs here made it impossible to both handle the balance and keep the consistency (in fact you never used double LN again in the later sections). So I would suggest doing the same thing here, make LNs single and ctrl-h the second part for hand balance https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16451419/004e
I agree with reducing double LN to single LN but I don't want to change the jack from 01:30:549 - to 01:31:440 - since it against the overall concept in this beatmap.
The reason why I focused jacks in the right hand is to maintain expressing the repetitive pitch melody just like exactly what I did in
01:27:083 (87083|3,87182|3,87281|3,87677|3,87776|3,87875|3) - 00:28:766 (28766|3,28766|1,28766|0,28865|2,28865|0,28964|2,28964|0,29063|3,29063|1,29063|0,29261|3,29261|2,29360|3,29360|1,29360|0,29459|2,29459|0,29558|2,29558|0,29657|3,29657|1,29657|0) - 00:31:143 (31143|2,31143|3,31242|3,31242|1,31341|3,31341|1,31440|2,31440|3,31638|1,31737|2,31737|3,31836|3,31836|1,31935|3,31935|1) - and etc.
01:37:380 (97380|0,97380|3,97677|0,97677|1) -
You can make them triple if you want, which I believe you can do it. Maybe like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16328454/be9e
(In order to make it consistent with 01:35:598 (95598|3,95598|1,95598|0,95895|2,95895|0,95895|3,96192|3,96192|0,96192|2,96489|0,96489|3,96489|1,96786|2,96786|3,96786|0,97083|0,97083|3,97083|1) - )
if you accept this
01:43:321 (103321|3,103321|0) -
01:43:618 (103618|1,103618|0) -
Do it with these 2 too
01:35:301 (95301|1,95301|0) - here as well, but if it's too dense, maybe move 01:35:400 (95400|3) - to 01:35:400 (95400|1) -
Not a big one but we can add note at 01:42:776 too, since I can here the piano sound here
hence this exist
01:43:222 (103222|1,103271|2,103420|1,103469|0,103519|3,103568|2) -
