If this is you first map then you almost nailed an old map style, but that's not the point.

There are a lot of inconsistency in the rhythm that you mapped, since you're a beginner i'm gonna explaining a little bit about rhythm that:

Songs are mostly based on 1/4 rhythm, you can see then on 00:00:179 (1,2,3,4,1), basically every bigger white tick is called a beat and when it reaches 4 beats it resets to one, like the new combo that you did.

White ticks will generally be responsible for the most intense object (circle or slider head), while the red tick can have some importance and blue is generally not that important (that doesn't mean it shouldn't be mapped, if you notice something is on the blue tick then it could be mapped). Obviously that is a general guideline not the rule, like 00:09:179 where the piano started on the red tick, which turns the red tick into an important tick.

So for example:

00:03:378 (1) - It's rare to end a slider on the blue tick unless you're gonna follow with something right after, i recommend you extend the slider to end on the white tick (especially for a lower diffs) or the other later blue tick (good for higher diffs), examples:

00:25:779 - Could start to map here after the break, since it's a strong tick with the piano.

Also, you should try to map more that one instrument and use then to complement, for example:

00:13:579 (4) - Here it’s mapped for the piano which i understand but ignoring other instruments like the drum makes this section feels like is undermapped (undermapping is like mapping less that it could, generally by ignoring some beats or instruments), you could try to mix the other instruments while keeping the piano as the important instrument, example:

There are some ways to do this, so keep experimenting until you get the idea on how to approach this in the future.

I would say that’s the biggest problem that you should focus on, if you find difficult to identify the sections with problems then i don’t mind to point at some of then, but if you could then try to recognise by yourself and since you’re a beginner then try to fix yourself or ask for suggestions on how it could be mapped until you get the idea.

I think I got this figured out, thanks!

Try to use more of the editor, if you ctrol + A, you will see that the corners are basically empty on both Hard and Normal diffs, for a 3 min song that's a huge lost of opportunities to map.

About the hitsounds:
It's highly discouraged using these "clicking" hitsounds in mapping in general. While they provide feedback and they are great for gameplay purposes, they don't pick up the song's vibe, they take away emphasis, and it's straight up better to just use the default hitsounds to emphasize certain parts of the song more. (normal-hitnormal, normal-hitfinish are like this)

removed custom hitsounds for now

Video should be AVI format. The spaghetti code of osu can't handle MP4 quite well, and it crashes a lot.
