appears to be the same hs, can you fix it :D
somehow audacity changed its buttons and i cant cut it the same way i used to do it before
i'd also argue that the sample is a bit too quiet, especially when combined with the whistles 00:01:859 (1,1,1,1,1,1) -
the delay imo is not that noticeable, but regardless i've fixed it here cuz it's not too hard
remove the clap on the sliderbody cuz lazer kinda has a sample for sliderclaps and it might sound weird
your hitsound files definitely need an overhaul.
so rc guidelines states: Avoid replacing the hit finish in soft/normal samplesets with frequently used custom hitsound samples.
so you use the snare drum a lot for hitfinish, which is not great cuz in most skins hitfinishes are loud crash cymbals. a lot of players migth play without custom hitsounds, and what they would hear might be similar to this: https://streamable.com/13ztgh
the constant crash cymbal is very obnoxious, that's why the guideline exists.
general rule of thumb for hitsounding is the hitsound files should somewhat reflect what it represents by default, claps for snares, finishes for cymbals etc. you probably need to change some files around to have the hitsounds make more sense.
you also have some unused hitsound files and some inconsistent hitsounding across difficulties caused by rhythm differences, but you need to sort this out first.
I reworked the hitsounds and should be updated when Delta_ gets the chance. I hope it is less obnoxious than before. If there are any errors, please let me know and I'll fix it asap.
Also, I checked mapset verifier and there should be no duplicate or unused hitsounds. Thanks for your patience and bringing this up!
difficulty settings could do with a bit of balancing for better progression between diffs
normal diff ar could be bumped up to 5.5
to stick a bit closer to hard, balancing ar between normal-insane a bit, plus its a bit dense
od might need a bit of a change, i think the gaps between od is a bit all over the place
since normal is a bit dense i think an od of 4
should be ok
hard could stay as 6
od8 for insane is a bit high, especially with how simple the map is, i think it should be 7.5
maybe 7
and dakiwii's extra could go slightly down to 8.2
to balance out the progression
