01:02:764 (1,2,3) - 01:05:522 (1,2,3) - 01:06:902 (1,2,3,4) - aren't these supposed to be all 1/3

permalink

and then the snare is 1/4 lmao
it would probably make more sense to follow the first two 1/3 piano notes and then the 1/4 snare

oh darn u are right

permalink

ok so I'm thinking this:

permalink

ok for charles 01:06:902 (1,2,3,4) - I'd keep as is, the change in 1/3 would make the gap with the next 1/4 triple pretty awkward considering the general design of the diff, and the snares are pretty consistent regardless so following them in this instance should not be an issue methinks

permalink

vastly fixed all except from 01:02:764 (1,2,3) - 01:05:522 (1,2,3) - for gameplay reasons

i am resolving for now, feel free to reopen if you don't agree in case

01:07:362 (3,4) - these 2 notes are 1/3 too xdd so you can fix it in charles diff as well

permalink
Reopened by allein

ok, fixed in the extra (since it was 1/4 there as well) and reworked charles' pattern with him to accomodate the 1/3, should be good now

host hs vols need +10-20% i think

permalink

just mapping tools it

permalink

00:56:557 - exception for this section tho i think vol is fine here

but others the song kinda drowns them out and i use 100 effect 50 music soooooooo

permalink

ive done +10%, also to 00:56:557 - since there would have been a 20% jump in volume otherwise which was weird (i did however do -5% to the section before in volume)

also changed the volumes for the ending slider and spinners

Inconsistent metadata.
Inconsistent tags between Another445 and Normal, difference being "kojio".

host hs
01:24:488 -> 01:35:178 - add some snares to this section it feels kinda lacking rn; the songs definitely not completely dead like 00:51:040 -

permalink

done, didn't want to add too many though cuz I wanna have 01:35:178 - act as a buildup on that front

rlc + charles hs

why are you using a snare on soft-hitnormal2

if ur trying to do this drumroll like hs thing then you should be using more softhitclaps and/or normal-hitnormals, 00:26:212 - as an example is pretty fucked as it literally only uses softwhistles as hitsounds

should modify the hs scheme; turn the sc2 sections into nc2 so the hitnormals are punchier (which is what i think you were going for with the snare hitnormals), then you can add supplemental claps for snare feedback blah blah blah

and double check to make sure stuff with different snaps gets hs'ed after changes like 01:39:316 - in rlcs diff

permalink

mmm i'm gonna have to think about this one, i do agree with you about not being able to hitsound snares in certain sections, but i feel like having actual normal-hitnormals all over the place is way too overpowering compared to current hs (which is kinda why i kept the current/original soft-hitnormal2 considering it has a lower volume compared to my snares)

i'm thinking about maybe using a different drum for the soft hitnormal altogether so that i can actually differentiate between those and the snares

permalink

ok so I've done some stuff, in short:

  • I've changed the soft-hitnormal2 to a softer drum which is differentiated enough from the more powerful snare
  • I've used my snare (which has higher volume) as soft-hitclap
  • I've added soft hitclap in various places for snares, as well as hitnormals for stronger places (similarly to what I've done in my hs)
permalink

I've kept 01:13:109 - and 01:46:212 - pretty much the same as I don't think they need more feedback as is

that should be all, i'm gonna resolve for now but lmk in case if there's something u want changed. I still do want to keep the drum on soft hitnormal cuz as I've said i feel it fits better with the original vision rather than overpowering it with normal-hitnormals, the current solution should at least address the lack of feedback from snares
