Hey, just wanna see what you guys think about some issues regarding slight timing issue, with some obvious late drum sounds being 02:13:113 (133113|0,133113|1,133280|2,133280|3) -, may want to look into this for the rest of the song.
Also just wanted to see what these were about, im a noob owo)b
02:13:113 (133113|0,133113|1,133280|2,133280|3) -
Simplify snaps within a dense drum rolls are usually fine.
As players might not feel snaps in a roll which is slightly off, but if mapper use complex snapping then the play experience might be weird.
Many other ranked maps also used such design. (I can easily tell a lot, including some of my own maps.)
One example we can refer is, a map named 'Palette Dance'. (you can search that song title within the mania BNG discord server, there were a past discussion about the simplify cuz that map.
Some reports by DH tool are for the storyboard hitsound samples.
There are some TOM sample on 1/16 , though there are no notes there. storyboard hitsound sample are optional, depends on the mapper.
ex: 02:17:655 tom2.wav@70%
You can check storyboard samples via press 'shift' in editor. https://imgur.com/a/tvjKrga
The other are for meter resit ex: 03:17:617 etc.
--------------------------------------
To conclude, I feel all those things which you are mentioned are fine. Yea just me, let the mapper to jedge the things later.
Uhh, I might not able to make further response here, cuz I would be busy in next few day.
I'll let the other BN and the mapper to handle the rest things.
But feel free to poke me via discord if any my opinion is needed. w thanku
okay,,, so .. Sorry if my answer or use of my english is very bad
first ,,, 02:13:113 (133113|0,133113|1,133280|2,133280|3) - maybe this is a little late 1/16, if u want I can fix it down below,, does this need to be added with another red timing too?
second ,,, there are a lot of storyboards that don't match the tempo of the song (slightly shifted) because in the past the main timing offset changed... Honestly, i dont know if this really affects the gameplay or not,
03:17:617 - unused timing ? it's different there ,, i use bpm 90.4 ,, and follow the piano beats to make it easier
I'd probably say go for simplification, if there wasn't multiple sections that have a slightly off timing, probably due to bpm drift, or drunk drummer/pianist lmao.
02:15:280 (135280|2,135613|2,135947|2,136280|1,136613|1,136947|1) - and 02:40:280 - etc
May want to go thru this song again and do abit more fine tuning with perhaps some additions to the timing points to really nail down all the slight offset consistencies, since the HS shows the slight offset difference between the sound.
This being the same exact issue with why 1994667#3941463
was DQ

We'll update this before renom #3941340/10539395 others should all fixed. feel free to recheck
some little tips on consistency
00:26:947 - suggest to add another note on col3 because the double feels too poor for the cymbal , you used harden pattern in all around the song like this or similar
so it won't hurt adding that extra note
00:30:280 - add another note at col1 to keep the consistency of 3 notes in the C chords like in the rest of the song, it's really not that hard to hit those, if you did it you can also move 00:29:947 (29947|0) - to col 3 for more hand balance
00:30:947 - 00:36:280 - 00:41:613 - suggest to make triple those too , adding a simple note or LN because you did it on the other section similar to those like 01:29:613 - 01:40:280 - 02:22:947 - 02:28:280 - etc etc
00:35:613 - same here, add another note at 4 for consistency??
00:40:947 - similar to the first suggestion of consistency from the C chords, add a note in col 4 and move 00:40:613 (40613|3) - to col 2 for balance?
01:07:613 - same here, add another note, this part is not that dense to avoid a triple
01:16:947 - ^
01:23:280 (83280|1) - i think you should add another note here with the hitsound 0.hihat.wav it is similar to the other sounds where they are begin used like 01:09:280 (69280|2) - 01:35:947 (95947|3) - etc etc
01:53:947 (113947|3) - pretty sure there is a kick here, add the hitsound W?
02:02:280 - add note?Same reason of the other triple
02:06:280 - ^
02:38:947 - suggest to add another note in col 3 for the same reason as the previous suggestion for this type of sound , if you did it then suggest to remove a note from here 02:38:613 (158613|1) - to make it more balanced
02:45:113 (165113|2,165280|1,165447|2) - did you forget the tom3 hitsounds?? Same rolls like 02:50:447 - and 02:55:780 -
03:26:613 (206613|1,206947|0,207280|1) - just nitpick but i would invert the position of those LNs to differentiate it from the previous piano LN
03:50:279 (230279|2) - i think this fits better the 0.hihat.wav instead of the finisher
03:52:279 - add extra note at col 2?
04:02:945 - 04:07:612 - 04:11:612 - 04:13:612 - 04:20:945 - ^
04:26:279 - can add another note here too but the next pattern is pretty dense, up to you
its good if you wanna keep like this , mine are just tips xD
btw 01:20:243 (80243|2,80317|1) - those 2 notes are unsnapped , this is on purpose or?
feel my rhythm
why i feels loud is that 03:14:956's melody was shown on 03:14:950 - so feels no need in this 03:14:956 red line
also 03:15:289 (195289|2,195622|2,195956|2,196289|2,196622|2,196956|2,197289|2,197539|0) - couldnt feels awkward on -6ms offset
when i add 03:17:622 - 90.4bpm and re-snap these, feels better in my rhythm
ambiguous to modify, and there is a possibility that only snap and rhythm will become rather difficult
