I ended up on BPM: 160.375 and offset: 283 though the offset might be a ms or 2 lower. I got pretty good variability when practicing it but I also got Mistimed Hits %00 so iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidk

Some of the graphics didn't show up for me, I think. I couldn't see the slider ball, slider ticks, reverse arrow, or the spinner.

Was this Dakeyrus's "voice"? It feels a bit... awkward. ._.

And Pippi's hand needs a little fine-tuning.

Overall, this is great. I think you should automatically give a popup to new folks just logging in telling them to try out the tutorial beatmap.

I learneded how to play!

The only thing I can suggest is eventually Pippi-fying it a bit more, adding in some graphics and a Pippi voice and such. But for now, it gets the job done well. Definitely belongs in the next public release.

Edit2: compressed the hll out of everything. special hacks in latest test for tutorial support. should be just about ready to go.

thus it won't work so well without the coming release.

This is great stuff you guys put together.

One thing I would suggest though is to add a cursor to the spinner part that would emulate what you're suppose to do during a spinner (hence, go around in a circle). Every newcomer I've watched do the tutorial so far has failed to do the spinner correctly. I think an actual spinning mouse cursor would help tremendously.

Here's basically what I was suggesting above. Just put this osu file in the tutorial folder, the go the spinner part on the new 'Spinner Edits' difficulty.

Feel free to edit the coordinates or whatnot in order to get a better 'circle' out of it.

Sorry for bumping this, but I just listened to the song, and while the melody is catchy, the instrument samples are awful. Does anyone have the original .mid/.whatever file?

To answer the question that I missed: yeah I have the original .gp5 file and yeah some of the instrument samples are subpar. I wonder if Mogsy can get enough people together to actually orchestrate it or something

Needs a backdrop.
00:33:16 (3,4) - Move left by 1 grid.
01:24:04 (1) - Move right by 1/2 a grid. (shift-drag)
01:27:03 (2) - Move left by 1/2 a grid.

Could be better, but good enough for a star.

Thanks for the upload. I can do this with HardRock, SuddenDeath, DoubleTime, Hidden, and Flashlight modes and I still cleared it with full combo!

I really suggest increasing the HP Drain. You won't be able to see the fail sequences.

Edit: For some reason i keep on getting the great job you have potential even if I failed.
