I decided to map the Tv Sized version of this song seeing as there already was someone who had started on the full song, which I wouldn't want to do anyway, well Maybe for some more "kira kira" parts but. Nah, it's just too long. I did however steal the bpm and offset to have a starting point for this one, but I would be appreciative if someone could just OK them before I continue with the other difficulties. THIS JUST IN! There are adorable section-pass and section-fails to be found. You will be wanting FAILURE just because of the aaawwwwwww factor.

EASY = Complete
NORMAL = Complete (apart from the three placed beats that are under criminal investigation)
HARD = Getting started, hai ho! Completely mapped. (If it is well mapped or not, I do not know and it is what we need to find out right now) Update: Got A LOT of help from James with this level, i'd reckon about 95% of the sliders are his and he marked some obvious pacing issues and added some beats. I think I've nailed alot of the problems that were present, and it's heaps better than the original numberical hard difficulty so you need to try it out! Thanks James!
Sinistro
I don't hear in the metronome a reason for the bpm to be 124.02, so it's probably a 124. Other than that, nothing objectionable. The pace feels a little too much for Easy, more like Normal, but that's just me. Also, the low drain and difficulty settings means there's no real need for that tiny break at 20 seconds or so, but it's hardly anything I would demand changed. Go ahead with the rest of the difficulties. :D

Fixed the BPM, adjuster the slider tick rate to two. The EASY I have decided not to alter, I do agree with Sinistro (in a irc conversation) regarding the pacing, it is a bit quick but I feel the map is intuitive enough to not scare beginners away. That and if I make it too easy I suppose it would only be played once and that would break my heart.

Added a NORMAL difficulty which needs a little more work but is basically done. There is a place where I have disregarded the beat spacing intentionally After the repeating slider at 00:52, I wanted another place to throw the player off guard there by tricking them into that the tempo has/is increasing. A mod will have to approve of this usage though I guess, or not. :) There are also a two places where instead of finishing a combo with the three closely placed beats I have added a fourth, this is also intentionally and is also meant to throw the player off guard once making it seem that it's speeding up. But a mod will have to decide if it's a good idea in regards to getting the map ranked.

I did get my younger brothers approval of this difficulty, always something eh? He's new to the game and prefers playing normal in general and he thought this wasn't too hard for a normal map. I WOULD however like to get some advice for the use of sliders, they work as intended but honestly, they are batshitbuttugly creations and will most likely be abhorred by the Osu! community and I will be marked as butt ugly slider creating monster.... sigh... Anyways, I did ask for advice, tips or just some help on the ugly sliders at the one minute mark that last for four seconds, if anyone feels like giving that section a try, please go right ahead. It would be extremely helpful seeing how somebody else would tackle that passage.

Just waiting for a ok on Normal difficulty before I move on to Hard. BESOS!

More chocolate~

I like this song. :)

Easy has no issue!

Normal

00:45:10 (3,4) - It sounds better to move it to 00:44:87. XD
01:13:18 - Add a beat here~
01:14:14 - And one here too, it just flows better. XD

Other than that...

MAKE ANOTHER DIFFICULTY! I demand it. :3 *starred*

I kind of did what maxwell asked for, but I honestly haven't decided if I want it that way yet.

On normal:
The first fix doesn't sound good at all for me, it emphazises(spelling!?) a beat at a place where it shouldn't imo so that one I skipped.
Increasing the stream on the last two fixes makes it a bit too intense, Even if the flow of the beats improve, the overall feel of the song and map (beatmap) drastically changes at that place. I thought it felt like that anyway. I'll let this be for a while and see how it feels after I get more used to it... But a Question @ Maxwell: Do I have to make those last two changes in order to stand a chance to get this map ranked? If they worsen the playability (is that even a word?) I suppose I have no other choice though.

I'll try to start on hard from scratch tomorrow and see how it goes. This will be my first attempt at a hard difficulty level so I could use some guidance I suppose, but I'm actually rather anal so it will probably be fine. You can forget about insane though. I see little point in doing a difficulty maybe only 200-300 people in the osu community will be able to play. For the greater good from the greater god, uhm... kthxbye gotta hide!

ps.s..sss.. FORGOT! THANK YOU MUCHLY FOR THE STAR!

00:08:50 (4) - Move it to 00:08:58, it is too early. :?
00:11:12 (2) - Is this supposed to be an improvised beat or is it following the vocal? If it is following the vocal, move it to 00:11:24. XD
00:11:60 (4) - Same thing here (a note to both of these beats are that things sound better if you make that stack three notes instead of two... like notes at 00:11:00, 00:11:12, 00:11:24... but this is just a suggestion :P)
00:22:61 (3,1,4) - Something similar here too
00:27:93 (?) - No beat here? :o
00:31:08 (3) - Vocal is at 00:31:32 XD
Thanks for the mod maxwell. Let's see, let's synchronise this bitch!

I got a bit confused as you no doubtedly noticed in regards to the time points you had written. I think I got it right though.
08:50 Beat has been moved back (i think, did it last night and got kinda lost....)
11:12,11:60 Not sure if it's supposed to improvised but I didn't intend for it to follow the vocal, let's look on it as an addition to the ongoing beat and vocals if possible?
22:61 Similar reply. I did however make a change on both places Which would be nice if someone could take a peek-a-boo at.
00:27 FIXED!
00:31 FIXED!

Found a few beatspacing issues as well, not sure if I cought them all though.

With all that said. It has been completely mapped. I suppose the real learning experience will start now. I feel it's quite fun to play but there are a lot of "huh, when did I come up with that, and why!?"-moments. Since I had never done a hard before nor am I especially used to playing hard I really couldn't lay out a single beat in my head prior to starting mapping. So this is one big mess of trial and error that I've attempted in getting more complete. The only rule I set for myself was to avoid re-cycling beat patterns as much as possible.
A player capable of hard shouldn't really need that sort of familiarity imo. I did stray off from following both vocals and, term term.... "Strong beats" or the beats expected to be followed at times, both for the same reason of trying to nail that whole "adding to the song" I find so great in other maps. If this worked out in an accepted fashion I have no idea about.

The most important point for me isn't to see this difficulty ranked, it's making sure it will be an enjoyable map to play. So in regards to that, I ask you guys to be very harsh regarding playability, if possible. I know about the lack of time you guys have, so there are most likely more urgent maps that needs to be looked at which. Basically, If this map is something you don't want to play, or doubt anyone else would want to play. Then some reasoning as to why would be great and we scrap this and let James bubble it. Well. Let's do this when we can! (meaning, you don't need to rush about this one) Thanks!

James: Thanks for the bubble I kinda recieved :D

i guess this is the latest version, heres my suggestions because i failed on hard due to lots of notes are placed ion the blue tick, not sure if youre making sounds yourself...

im not sure if mapping hard using 1/6 divisor will do any good.

anyways, heres my suggestion.
just try to see if it is good, i did not fix it though i just placed some notes.

try to use it if you wish.idoubtyouwill

I am ... making some sounds myself actually, and even if they feel out of place the first times playing it I would like for some of them to stay around a unless they will make the map unrankable I guess.
thats what i did. and i think that is better than having a single note lying somewhere with out follow up beats
i think (1) (2)(3) (4)(5) *2/3 and 4/5 are 1/4 beat apart* is better than..
(1) *space* (2)(3) <--- *1/4 beat apart but 2 starts at the blue tick*
and has more sense and are easier to press since youre pressing notes constantly already rather than to wait for the next note that starts with a blue tick (which is bad imo)

anyways its your call since this is your map and im just suggesting on what to do on those annoying notes (for me) that starts on blue tick.

well memorizing/focusing when to press notes isnt enjoyable for me since i play and hit notes by the rhythm of the song

dont mind the 1/6 divisor i might be wrong with it too.

just bug me on irc after you reuploaded your hard version

I've done what I could about the map for now. I'm having a bit of trouble evaluating it since this is basically a little step beyond my current skill level. But yeah. Damn you maxwelldemon for requesting the impossible!. Well, you can mod / evaluate it when you guys have the time for it. Now we're going to attempt nightmares.
MaxwellDemon
Hahahaha, I love how this turned out. :P
Seriously, it'd probably be going under my favorites when it is ranked. :)

Other than some reaaaally minor beatspacing issues (nothing that'll hinder the map though), I am happy with this. Are you still working on this, because this deserves to be bubbled and moved into the completed section. :o
