This is the full song of the Ghost in The Shell SAC openning, my 1st ever beatmap, after so much work and time i hope it gets polular XD

hello i have recently begun working on this beatmap again and i have a new test version that i wish to upload

can the moderators remove it from the graveyard please ?

Try BPM=167 and offset=12,070 for timing.
You'll need to increase slider velocity to about 1.4 afterwards tho,and resnap all notes.

Distance spacing also needs work.

Still, it's off to a good start. :)

OK, looking much better now. :)

Few distance issues:

00:34:70 (1,2,3) - The 2 and the 3 need to be further apart
00:40:63 (1) - move this to the left, away from the 8
01:15:48 (1) - move the 1 down to near the bottom, away from the previous 2
01:23:02 (4,1,2,3) - move the 1 down away from the 4. shift the 2 and 3 to keep thier distance from the 1
01:39:19 (1,2,3,4) - move the 2 so its on top of the 4
01:42:42 (7) - move this to the top of the screen so its about opposite the 5
02:07:21 (1,2) - move the 2 further fromm the 1
02:17:99 (7,1,2) - move the 1 to the bottom of the screen
02:24:28 (7,1) - move the 7 away from the start of the slider

Also, if this is a Normal difficulty, can you reduce the Overall Difficulty slider under song setup to 6
(eg. same as HP drain)

Finally try using some of the different hitsounds available on the right-hand side of the editor.

You're welcome to the help, I'm sure you'll get better with time.

realy thanks alot for your help man !

i knew that those combo starts where the problem i itough to do a beatmap with distance snap.... hard to use your imagination to place beats when they are forced to stay in a certain position :)

now to finish im going to add a comboburst skin and then make easy and hard dificulties

question...
dont you think that for a normal dificulty the score is too low?...

maybe i should extend the beatmap from 50% to 100%

what do you think ?

The score does seem a bit low - first thing i'd do is replace the breaks @ 1:26 amd 1:36 with notes
and perhaps shorten the first break so it doesn't start until 0:58, tho it's just a suggestion.

If you feel like using more song I'd advise against using all of it as it's quite long - find a good place to stop further in.

Looking forward to other difficulties!

00:35:76 (3) - spacing looks funny here. even if it's perfecty snapped its hard to read, so if it is you should either increase your snap or just move this farther away anyways
00:38:45 (7) - note is too early by a 1/2. 8 also sounds too early imo but can really be in either spot so its up to you
Also by this point I've noticed that almost none of the map is spaced consistantly. Please respace.
The two grey combos in a row are a bit difficult to tell apart
Just fyi that spinner looks bad when spun because of the text that I can't read because its spinning
01:54:62 (4,1) - the four hides a bit of the 1 slider. this may disappear when you respace your map.
01:57:49 (1) - spinner mapped to a silence that long is just awkward. you can keep it if you really like but imo a break would be better. same goes for the other one
02:08:27 (1) - right here your map starts moving a little quickly for an easy. by no means mandatory, but you should consider removing a few notes or something
02:15:10 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - pattern is difficult to read
02:22:64 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - not sure what its mapped to. if theres something there, keep it though


[Normal]
00:38:45 (7,8) - again these seem to be 1/2 early
01:09:17 (2,1) - spacing is too tight
Actually come to think of it it looks like you were trying to stack there :x align the stacked hits better plz?
01:19:77 (2) - note is hidden behind slider
Yeah this needs to have a more standardized spacing throughout. Respace.
01:34:32 (4) - seems early. this is optional though.
01:42:94 (1) - this one is DEFINITELY 1/2 beat early
01:49:95 (6,7,8,9) - first of all, new combo goes here. second, pattern is a bit funky you might wanna remap it?
02:02:52 (1) - spinner of silence strikes again!
02:12:76 (7) - either move this back 1/2 tick or add another hitcircle 1/2 tick later, i think id prefer the latter since i like that note :3
02:24:26 (7) - same
02:39:89 (1) - slider half-hidden by previous slider
02:40:61 (1) - slider hidden by previous slider
03:17:61 (2) - this type of overlapping slider is not allowed anymore :( sorry


[Hard]
00:35:76 (3,4) - sounds 1/2 beat early?
01:12:58 (1) - make the stacks match perfectly plz
01:14:20 (3,4,5,6,7,8) - tiny spacing is tiny o-o i read it as 1/8 beats. Methinks this difficulty needs respacing too.
01:18:33 (1) - make stacks match
01:19:77 (2) - note hidden by slider
01:20:13 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - tiny spacing returns! 8O
01:42:94 (1) - sounds 1/2 beat early
02:02:52 (1) - spinner of silence III!
02:08:81 (1,2,3) - it sounds much better if you remove 3
02:08:81 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - the constant beat sounds a little bit off with an irregular beat. i suggest removing the first and third 3's

02:23:36 (4,5,6,7) - timing sounds early? at least on the last note if not all four
02:26:41 (1) - 1. stack better 2. this should start 1/2 later
02:27:67 (1) - this should end 1/2 later
02:40:61 (1) - slider hidden by previous slider
02:52:28 (1) - i was so expecting a 2 here D: DO IT!!!
02:55:16 (1) - note hidden by previous slider (but the pattern is so pretty!~)
03:17:61 (2) - this overlap is no longer legal :(
03:22:46 (2) - again i think a double note would sound better based on the rest of the map

Drain is a bit high, too



First off I'm not entirely sure this is timed correctly. I would check timing with a BAT if I were you. Second, you need to respace all difficulties to make them readable. Third, look for your messy stacks and neaten them up a bit?

Fourth, your map is absolutely ravishing in beauty :D It's going to be very fun to play. Your rhythms are creative, fit, and are anything but the monotony of most maps, and your patterns are generally also pretty :) I look forward to seeing this ranked, although I expect it will take a bit~

It changes by a BPM at 46 seconds in. Whoever arranged this are jerks! >:(

Offsets may be off by +/-5ms; the instrumentation is so quiet.

thanks to you my beatmap is doing great progress as it was nearly at a still, for weeks

i did all of your suggestion s to improve my beatmap

time for a well deserved sleep ill, in the meantime you can check out my beatmap and see if its any good :) ill be back in 10 hours or so

Wow, this has come a long way since I last modded it :)

couple of issues tho

Easy and Normal:
the notes in the beginning are no longer snapped to the timeline as the BPM is now different,
resnap all notes and drag them until they all sound right

Hard:
00:23:50 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,1,2,3,4,1,2) - are all 1/4 too early

Hard is, well hard so if you are planning an Insane i'd make Hard easier. If not, no problem

I'll go over it in more detail when this is done.

Here's what I got:

Easy:

00:38:05 (6) - move away from (5) and make 1/2 beat later
00:44:92 (4) - perhaps replace this with a spinner or (repeating) slider? I feel it should go on for 4 beats
01:23:74 (1) - move away from prev. (4)
01:58:95 (1) - this doesnt seem to hit on anything atm, try moving it 1/2 beat later and extending by 1 beat

Normal:

01:23:02 (4) - space out evenly with (1,2,3)
01:24:46 (1,1) - move both 1 grid-2 square to the right and 01:25:89 (1) - 1 grid-2 up
01:41:70 (6,7) - move (6) 1 up and 1 right move (7) to be symmetrical with (5)
02:19:79 (2) - move this down slightly

may mod Hard later - perhaps drop the speed at which notes fade in slightly? but I'm not too fussed.
Edit:-
Hard:

01:39:19 (1,2) - put the (2) opposite the (4) and move the (1) towards the top a bit
up right of where (5) appears
01:51:76 (9) - move over the (6)
01:52:84 (1,2,3,4) - move the (1,2) both 1 grid-2 to the left, then put (4) over (1)
02:17:99 (7,1) - move tthe (1) to the bottom, move (7) down and a bit closer
02:52:30 (1,2) - needs to be further from the start of the slider

and that's pretty much it! :)

guys im trying to add a sprite but whenever i do i cant see it, i just see the name in the stage.... when i click on it it de-selects.... by the way its in the foreground layer

edit 2:

did everything but 1 thing on hard when you told me to move 9 on top of 6 i cant do it due to distance snap, in a hard song like that distance snap is vital and if i move even one square it might cause a 100

i got realy surprised as the mistakes you pointed out where realy obvious but i allways overlooked them without noticing
maybe im going ahead of mightself but with this i think the beatmap might be ready

I wrote a nice long post - but I got logged out and it was deleted :(
I will try again later, but one thing I did notice is the first offset on Incarnate is wrong - it needs changing and having notes resnapped etc.

Oh and put Ghost in the Shell: SAC as the source under Song Setup

Rookie:

00:32:09 (7,8) - make (7) end and (8) begin 1/2 a beat later - keep the end of (8) the same tho
00:35:70 (3) - move further from (2) and closer to (4)
01:16:55 (3) - move down and to the right a little
01:35:60 (5,6) - try and rearrange stuff so the end of (5) is closer to the beginning of (6)
01:43:14 (1) - move 1 grid-2 square to the right
02:01:46 (1,2) - move these to the right a little so they are the same distance from the middle
02:22:66 (1,2,3,4,5) - move these up so the (1) is closer to the previous (9)
02:28:77 (1) - make this last 1 beat longer

Edit(2): -

Incarnate:

00:43:47 (5) - move closer to the end of (4)
01:25:89 (1) - move this 1 grid-2 square down and left
02:20:51 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - swap the position of the (3) and (5) with the (1)
02:53:38 (2) - make this 1/2 beat longer
03:21:94 (1) - move this to the left, away from the earlier (5)
03:32:726 - Add a 2 beat spinner here with finish and clap sounds

03:17:63 (2) - move this 2 grid-2 squares down so it is easily visible

well i did everything but:
-02:52:30 (1,2) - move a bit closer to (3)

distance snap here seems correct about that 1,2 1,2 1,2 1,2 at 1:26 i did it but it was distance snapped.... dont know how it ended up that way.... anyway... i thought i had everything snapped but for some reason you could still find badly snapped places :S i need to be more careful

01:19:79 (7) - Ending this at 01:21:22 sounds better imo.

00:37:51 (5,6) - Things like this, you should try using 1/4 or 1/6 divisor to get those vocals. (This might apply to all difficulties.)

01:18:35 (1) - Ending this at 01:19:43 sounds better imo.
02:11:16 (1) - Move this a little farther from 2.
02:26:61 (1,1) - Making these the same length as slider 02:25:54 (1) sounds better imo.
