Motherboard?

This sounds like an issue with your audio (sound card) driver or settings. It means it is not playing back audio at the correct speed.
Sikar_old
and what to do?
HakuNoKaemi
1) Upgrade your driver
2) Change Sound Card setting in your BIOS (you can choose what sound card to use)
Sikar_old
I have no problems with a sound in other games, I have the last drivers
peppy
The issue is probably not perceivable to your ear, but I would guess and say it did exist across all games. If you are running on windows 7, try changing the default output device (assuming you have more than one output path) and play with the sample rate settings:

generally 44100 / 16bit is what you want, but go up and down from that and see if it helps.
Sikar_old
Didn't help =( hmmm a week ago everything perfectly worked
sorry, i use translate
Sikar_old
and now I have receiving data when I come in osu

I'm getting the same error after the update. Got the latest drivers and no overclocking, the only change to my pc is the update itself.

I've found one solution that is working for me atleast: Changing the frame limiter to 60 fps, it was 120 fps before.

Hope this helps
Sikar_old
YES!!! Thank you very much it helped)
peppy
That's a weird one. What kind of FPS do you get when you have the fps limiter set to 120fps?
Kurokami
I get sometimes the same error, but rarely. For me, if I pressing f7 3 times (starting at 120), so i back at 120 again, its working.
Nors
When it's set to 120 fps I get about 135-145 fps, but I think it was like that before the update as well.

Edit: If the frame limiter is set to unlimited I also get the error.

Edit 2: Getting the same error when playing song at half time with the frame limiter at 60 fps.

Good evening,

I had the same worries, I just modified like this: http://puu.sh/xz6T

But I do not understand why this problem occurred before 2 update

Sorry for my English I'm French and i use a translator :/

GrubScrub
Tried all the above solutions and still getting the error. Odd thing is that the error doesn`t appear with the doubletime mod on :S
peppy
The frame limiter should really have no effect.
Nors
That's strange. With the frame limiter set to anything but 60 fps I can't finish a song without the error. When it's at 60 fps I haven't encountered the error so far.

btw Thank you for making and supporting this game peppy! You're awsome <3
ouragan_old
good evening,

No solutions work for me
professor-chung
hellow
I also have the same problem.I adjust FPS and audio sound frequency, but it still appears error and doesn't store my score.
I don't know how to solve this.
ouragan_old
Hello,

Someone advise me to disable this option: http://puu.sh/ymDM
After a restart of my PC I got the error once, so the problem must come from here

Thank you to help me assigns
professor-chung
Thanks for your notice ,but I still have that error again . Hope this problem can solve as soon as possible.
ouragan_old
Hello

the error appeared this morning, I feel that it is rather unstable, as time passes but sometimes it takes several times to reboot the pc the game works normally :/
Sikar_old
you still have this problem?
ouragan_old
yes and also to format I see no other solution
GrubScrub
Yep still getting this problem
Aoko
I get this problem but only if
1- The beatmap has A BIG MEMORY due to SB, Backgrounds, Beatmaps, etc.
2- Lags.

But solved if it doesn't meet these requirements.
Oddwel
The frame limiter setting to 60 is helping with this error but not with the gameplay. I have a huge wacom tablet to play OSU! and if the FL is set to 60 my cursor is like 1s late from my hand. It's not very suited for osu! players xD

If you are playing in fullscreen, then try windowed mode. This change solved that issue for me.
ouragan_old
Hello,

I format this weekend and a reinstall windows, and I still have the error.
elvibez
I am also having this problem. I've tried everything suggested in this thread but nothing works.

This seriously sucks, because the game is pretty much unplayable for me now that I can't play ranked.

I didn't have any issues before the update. What was changed?
ouragan_old
Good evening,
I think the problem comes from windows updates, I just did a system restore and no problems.

I'll let you know if the bug never came back

oh! that might be it!!
everything was fine yesterday, then automatic updates happened overnight
today, timing error on every map (except with double time)... no osu update, so that's not it.
restart didn't work either, but i don't want to system restore, i'll wait for peppy to answer!
Royboyvdm
thats why i hate having automatic updates on when theres no problems :/

Hmmm, you might have a point. I recall installing a huge amount of updates just a while ago.

I'd rather not do a system restore just because of osu though. I think I'll just patiently wait for peppy to come up with something.

Hello,

I just warn you that nothing have changed, I still have the error, so I'm expecting a pachlog, or I should buy a new sound card
peppy
This will be fixed in the next release, to some extent.
ouragan_old
ok thank you, I would come to keep you informed;)

Hi, I am user also have this problem for a while. The update today did not fix the problems, sadly. I use Nvidia GeForce GTX470 fermi card, and driver not on the latest (because the new driver = framerate problems for my other games, Nvidia said they will fix that ones, and use an older driver for now.). The sound card got the latest driver. But then I still get this message says the calculation not right... Please help!! Works fine before this. My PC: Intel i7 870 2.89GHz clean, GTX470 fermi clean, 2x4GB ripjaw, asus P7P55D-E motherboard. I sidenote: I turn off "speedstep" for a certain reason. Could this have an issue with the game? Please reply thank you!!

PS: I also see my FPS go to 530~640........ This is very very strange situations.. My monitor max refresh = 60/65Hz I think... But the video isn't choppy. Is this also a problem, maybe can affect the previous problem??? I put the frame limiter on unlimited because on lower one, my mouse feels slow.. and I can't play very good like that.
peppy
Please wait for the next release. I forgot to address it this time around.
ouragan_old
Ah so it is perhaps natural that I did the update for today but I still have the bug?
Sikar_old
hmm after udate it became impossible to play
How soon will new udate?
ouragan_old
hello,

I just make new, there are what's new?

Because I always this bug
MillhioreF
fixed for me in june 20 build... sorry , must be different problem ><
ShiKaizoku
I got this problem a couple of weeks ago (?) {Not sure , I think it was 2 weeks.) . And I cant play since then :|

The update (if it's done) didnt do anything for me.

-Edit

Fixed it , it had to do with overclocking.
Sikar_old
Oh I have this problem still remains that suggest?
JhowM
I have this when playing with DoubleTime+AutoPilot and it only happens with 60fps (Vertical Sync).

Something like this:
I luv hikki
I did all you guys said, but this error's appearing again :(
How should I do?
I updated my Sound/Audio driver, set the frame at 120FPS, restarted OSU, delete and reinstall OSU
all of what i tried didn't work ;(

I'm waiting for hearing you, peppy
