Modding new maps by request, not a full mod for bubble yet.

Anyhow... this is a good amount better than the first one. There are still some fixes to be made and whatnot, but it's a nice improvement!

[General]
- Background dimensions could still be improved. Try to find a relevant 1024 x 768 background, if at all possible.
- I don't think the last kiai time is necessary as it's not really a chorus, but if you decide to keep it then it should definitely end at some point instead of going until the song is over.
- Tags don't need to be separated by commas, and currently none of your tags are necessary because they're already in the title and artist. "Adam Young" and "All Things Bright and Beautiful" (no quotation marks) could work as tags though. (Artist and album title.)
- Try using an offset of 182 on all difficulties. This will cause the inheriting sections to get unsnapped, but in the timing panel you can select all of them and move them by a certain amount, which in this case would be -18. Make sure not to move anything twice.
- It's worth noting you can actually "drag" breaks on the timeline to make them start at the desired time. You put your cursor near where it says break, you should be able to drag it to whatever point you'd like. So for this map, it would work nicely to drag it to the downbeat (large white tick).
- Try to avoid breaking distance snap without a good reason. It does work at times for things like symmetrical patterns and jumps but patterns like this end up being just confusing.
- Songs use 1/8 snap (yellow ticks) very very rarely, so it's good to avoid using it at all for the most part. There's no 1/8 in this song, either.

[Insane]
- Probably add one to the Approach Rate, it's somewhat low at the moment and could make things slightly confusing.
00:13:271 (4) - Too fast and doesn't follow any part of the song, so you'll need to map this some other way.
00:28:914 (5,6) - No need for 1/8 snap here, try to change the pattern accordingly.
02:30:414 (6) - Snapping is definitely incorrect on this note, try snapping it to 1/4.
02:37:271 (1) - ^

[Normal]
- As with Insane, I'd increase the Approach Rate by 1.
- For Normal difficulties I'd suggest not using short repeating sliders to follow more complex rhythms, instead follow simpler rhythms with longer sliders and notes, at least I find that more fun to play.

I could probably go into more specifics right now, but I'm tired and stuff. So, good luck and happy mapping. Keep improving!

Thanks for the input. What should I do if I can't find any artwork relevant to the song (I a not good at photoshop or anything like it so I can't make my own). Oops, I have never used distance snap before so I will go back and fix that. :)

[Normal]

00:03:824 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - I think this could also have a nice pattern, with some easy jumps.
00:20:967 (1,2) - You should fix these sliders, they don't look nice. :p
00:24:610 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - In my opinion, this combo misses a bit creativity.
00:34:682 (1) - You should fix this slider, it doesn't look nice. :p
00:36:182 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - More creativity please :(
01:05:539 (4) - could be new combo
01:34:253 to 01:38:539 (7) - could also use some more creativity

[MunchkiNormal]

Erm, 2nd Normal? Looks like a Hard difficulty to me.
00:17:539 (1,1) - Ugly sliders, use something else.
01:18:824 (6) - sounds like new combo
02:47:110 (3) - blanket this around (2)'s ending

[Insane]

Played it on test mode, seems to have some ugly sliders like I mentioned before.

[OrigamInsane]

Another double diff? Are you guestdiffing yourself or do you just want to make double difficulties?

This one played weirdly.. I think you should make the sliders more curly so it runs smooth.
also, again, some places that lack creativity.

I want it to give you as an overall advice; keep being creative, don't start to map linear where it's unneccesary.
I think it's your first map, so it's atleast a good try. Just keep on mapping and re-map it later, or something.

Modded because you requested in my modding queue. Thanks~

Thanks for the help I will look into changing around what you suggested.

Sorry for the slow mod!

Anyways

Diff Names:
These names confuse me a bit. So was Origam Insane made by a different person then Insane? Also, your map description still says "MunchkiNormal" when the diff name is currently just Normal.

Overall:
Tick Rate 4 is really high. Lower it to Tick Rate 2
Your stack leniency is currently at 0.2. Probably increase it a bit :>.
Hitsound wise, starting at 00:10:467, it'd be cool to use claps on 2 and 4 () to go along with the music
Your combo colors are inconsistent. Since you made all of the diffs, it's required that they're all the same~.

Special Insane:
Pattern mapping can be cool but often times spacing will get really weird because making patterns is put over priority of spacing. I know it's an insane, but I don't like how jumpy it can be at times for a calm song.
00:11:967 (5) - NC?
00:12:824 (7) - ^
00:25:896 (3) - Instead of having so many repeats, try making this more like this (http://puu.sh/C7GZ)
00:45:182 (1) - Remove NC
01:10:468 (3) - Instead of having so many repeats, try making this more like this (http://puu.sh/C7J2)
01:13:468 (5) - The first curve is higher then the last one. Try playing around with it to make this symmetrical
01:14:753 (8) - ^
01:23:111 (1) - Remove NC
01:40:896 (2) - Make this into 2 slider or something?
01:41:967 (4) - Make this into a regular curved slider :>
01:47:110 (5) - ^
01:57:182 (1) - Remove NC
02:05:753 (8) - This note looks weird o-o. Probably move it so it's in between (6) and (8)
02:10:897 (1) - Remove NC
02:26:860 (1,1,1,1) - ^
02:53:324 (1,1,1,1,1,1) - ^

Insane:
00:11:967 (3) - Severly overlaps with HP bar
00:18:824 (1) - Make this into 2 sliders?~
00:20:967 (1) - ^
01:05:539 (3,4) - Overlaps with HP bar
02:54:396 (1) - Remove this~

Hurd:
00:27:824 (4) - Add NC
00:28:039 (5) - Use 4 sliderpoints to make this (http://puu.sh/C80Z) and make it pretty and stuff (NOTE: The slider I made in there was just for a reference, so don't make it exactly like that :D)
01:12:182 (4) - Add NC
01:12:610 (6) - Same as previous thing
02:20:539 (5) - Add NC
02:53:967 (2) - Remove repeat

Normal:
00:53:967 (6) - Make this look more like this? (http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/346645)
02:00:181 (1,2) - Make these into something more interesting
02:13:896 (1,2) - ^

Still needs a bit of work, but it's actually pretty good considering the amount of mapping experience you've had.

This map scarily reminded me of a less refined Jacob or RandomJibberish map or something.

kawaii~

Mhm yeah... first, do CDFA's mod and call me In Game or by Forum PM for a mod.

Overall:
SapphireGhost say offset is 182
but i think offset is 193
maybe you need more suggestion
and maybe you need change diff name..?
E->N
N->H (if you change diff name. you need should be made more Difficult)

Easy:
this easy diff is too hard
star rating should be 3.25 or down
00:09:824 -(3.1) this is a big jump :o
00:11:967 -(2) this slider tai should be on w hite lines
00:34:682 -(1.2) spacing?
01:06:824 -(2.3) ^
02:14:539 -(2.3.4)^

Normal:
wow
Normal AR8 !?
i think this is Hard

Insane:
idk why have many spacing not the same?
Spacing should be Unified in same hitcircle color. Unless you jump or songs climax
if you want made jump
you need more Bold and obvious
00:11:753 -(3.4) Spacing?
00:15:824 -(6.7) ^
00:16:682 -(1.2.3) I don't think this timing point is Faster
00:40:896 -(2) Add clap?
00:52:467 -(4.5) Spacing?
01:25:467 -(5) Add clap?
01:52:467 -(1-5) use normal hit sound?
01:59:110 -(8.9) Spacing?
02:26:753 -(1-5) use normal hit sound?
02:39:824 -(7) right 2 grid?
End point should be 02:54:610 ?

OrigamInsame:
Fine

good luck~

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't able to work on it in a while due to school but I looked at what you said and made some changes.

Hi!

[General]
Nice sliders.
Maybe, better start last kiai here 02:07:039 (1), on repeat of the chorus and leave only kiai-flash here 01:53:324 (3)?

[Easy]
A little hard for Easy. Rather, it is Normal. (I read earlier messages after it wrote :D Anyway, it looks like a Normal)
00:48:181 (3) - align slider and add clap at the beginning
304,292,48181,2,0,B|240:420|184:316|184:316|128:420|64:292,1,350
00:49:681 (4) - clap at the end
00:50:753 (6) - clap
00:51:610 (2) - clap at beginning
00:53:967 (6) - clap at the end

01:32:753 (3,4) - clap at the beginning
01:34:253 (5) - clap at the end
01:35:324 (7,2) - claps
01:37:681 (5) - clap at the end
02:00:181 (1) - add clap at beginning
02:01:682 (3) - clap at the end
02:03:396 (1) - ^
02:04:467 (2) - ^

02:16:896 - add note with clap and new combo
02:17:110 (2) - remove NC

Insane and OrigamInsane are good.

Thanks for your help! I completely forgot about the claps in those difficulties.

Care: This 'mod' covers some issues I spotted immediatly when I opened the Normal difficulty and uses these as examples for you to do further workout on this mapset.

General: 100% overall volume is not very recommendable - use more variation; for calmer parts, use 40% soft or smth, for kiai you can use 80% normal and suchs - just as an example, pick variative volumes that suit the atmosphere.

Normal:

AR5 appears pretty high for your lowest diff, tbh.
Please use less 90° angles in sliderpoints.
Overall rhythm appears to be unsteady; why not use custom sliderticks for claps (especially in kiai)?

  • 00:10:681 (1,2,3) - I don't understand the variative spacing here
00:25:039 (2) - why is this 0.8x spaced and not 0.7x like the others?
    00:26:324 (4) - too close to 3 imo
00:27:824 (1) - the start of this does not sound as if it was following anything
00:33:610 // 00:33:824 - why are these two beats unfeatured in your map?
00:34:682 (1) - the curve here appears a bit clunchy; also, i do not see a reason for this shape
00:36:182 (2) - do not like how this overlaps with 1
00:37:253 (5,7) - these can blanket 6 better; also, I suggest moving 5 a bit more downwards so 4 leads into the curve
    00:42:396 (2) - not symmetric
00:45:181 (6,1,2) - these do not lead into each other and just feel ugly :/
00:48:181 (3) - the bows here are not very pretty
00:52:681 (3,4,5,6) - no; as these lie on red ticks and there is nothing justifying this, they do not follow anything
    01:04:039 (3) - add clap
    01:04:682 (4) - add clap on end
-> continue that clap rhythm until you think you want it to stop but don't just use single hitsounds
01:07:467 (3,4) - the transition between these is awkward and does not feel any flowy
01:12:181 (1) - a) does not seem to follow anything, b) the curves are awkward, use 2 sliderpoints each to have them more balanced out
01:13:467 (2) - that curve is not very pretty; also, why is this 0.9x spacing for no reason?
    01:14:753 (4) - this is ugly.
    01:16:039 (5) - why 1.3x spacing?
01:18:824 (2) - 0.7x spacing please; also, this curve is meeh
I will make a cut here for the following reason: I'd like you to check your diffs for similar stuff, as in, unbalanced curves, awkward transitions (one object should lead into the other, point-to-point movement sucks, to be honest) and inconsistent hitsounding and spacing (if you got no change in the song, there is no reason to use different spacings or hitsounding, more consistency would feel good).
The main point of that doing is to make you get a better feeling for polishment as that is a very important point in mapping - if you spot and correct the issues in your work yourself, you will get way further than by just following people's instructions; hope you understand me o.o

Also, an important point: Do not start 1/2 sliders on red ticks! Do NOT do this, it does not flow and it rarely fits anything!

Keep going, this is a good start.

  • 00:10:681 (1,2,3) - I don't understand the variative spacing here I'm really not sure why I had such a big space gap right there. Fixed
00:25:039 (2) - why is this 0.8x spaced and not 0.7x like the others? Fixed
    00:26:324 (4) - too close to 3 imo Fixed
00:27:824 (1) - the start of this does not sound as if it was following anything The singer begins the phrase of the song right there. "And all I did was say hello."
00:33:610 // 00:33:824 - why are these two beats unfeatured in your map? Having those three beats in a row seemed a bit hard for the easiest difficulty. I added a beat at 00:33:824.
00:34:682 (1) - the curve here appears a bit clunchy; also, i do not see a reason for this shape Changed the shape. Now it looks like a horseshoe and is much smoother.
00:36:182 (2) - do not like how this overlaps with 1 Fixed

    00:42:396 (2) - not symmetric I think I fixed it. It's hard to tell.

00:48:181 (3) - the bows here are not very prettyI think it looks much better now. Fixed
00:52:681 (3,4,5,6) - no; as these lie on red ticks and there is nothing justifying this, they do not follow anything Changed the rythm so it flows better.
    01:04:039 (3) - add clap Fixed
01:04:682 (4) - add clap on end Fixed
-> continue that clap rhythm until you think you want it to stop but don't just use single hitsounds Added claps to different areas of the song where they were needed most.
01:07:467 (3,4) - the transition between these is awkward and does not feel any flowy Fixed
