How does music files in osu work?

What're most song's quality like on osu? I've taken a liking to certain songs but finding FLAC/320ks are near impossible.
The downloaded file states 198k, should I just stick with that?

osu! is not supposed to be used as a source of mp3-files for your private pirated musiclibrary.
You can easily find the answer to your question by searching for 5min so I'm not going to help you out here.

in this game, the ranking criteria only allows 128kbps-192kbps .mp3 files. so in case you want music files with higher quality, you should go search by your own in other sites instead.
