General: I noticed there were no spinners in the map, so maybe at some point during the long sliders you could insert a spinner or two? Up to you completely but it would be nice for some variation on the scoreboard.

01:06:113 (1) - During this section I noticed almost every single slider is on only the left half of the screen, maybe put some on the right?
01:31:485 (1) - A bit harsh considering the map is really easy until this point, maybe move the stream before this to the right further to keep the hyper and make this slider go left to flow into the rest better.
01:36:627 (2,1) - The timing for this is pretty close and will really throw a lot of players off if they don't expect it, I'd reduce it.
01:57:713 (4,5) - Uncomfortable timing here.
03:06:799 (1,2) - ^
04:44:513 (2,3) - 04:45:027 (2,3) - the first time this pattern appears it was hard but didn't feel this hard,
04:45:885 (2) - Maybe tilt this slider a bit?
04:49:999 (2,1) - I'd reduce the spacing here.

That's all that really stuck out to me, good luck!

03:06:799 (1,2) - I don't think this one has awkward rhythm so...
04:45:885 (2) - The slider's speed deserves its intensity so it's okay imo.

I prefer to keep 0 spinner because personally I feel the spinner sounds are really awkward for this song. Just in my taste.

Others have been fixed, thank you!

  1. While it's not unrankable, I think having the Japanese source would be better in this case, which would be: セレクター spread WIXOSS
  2. If you change the above, please move your current source to the tags!
Spread/Other
  1. Consider changing to HP7 The map seems quite dense and it seems to be aimed towards overdose level, so I think increasing by 1 would be a nice change for the difficulty.

  1. 00:05:427 (2,1) - It's not a pixel dash or anything, but the distance seems a bit far here. I think reducing the distance a bit could be beneficial.
  2. 00:16:399 (5,1) - I don't think the sound here warrants a double hyper. Instead of reworking this, I suggest adding a note at 00:16:570 - and making that note create a hyperdash to 00:16:742 (1) - .
  3. 00:18:113 (1) - Pretty strong bass note here, maybe you could make an hdash to it?
  4. 00:20:170 (1,1) - I think the 1/8 empty space in between these two makes the sound really choppy. This can be fixed by simply extending 00:20:170 (1) - by one more tick.
  5. 00:20:856 (1,1,2,1) - Sounds a bit weird timeline wise. I think changing the timeline to this would make the sound follow the music better.
  6. 00:43:485 (1,1) - the hdash here makes it really easy to miss the repeat slider. My suggestion is to make 00:44:170 (1) - into a curved stream, perhaps like this?
  7. 00:46:228 (2,1) - pretty important volume increase, maybe create an hdash in between here?
  8. 01:43:827 (1,1,1) - I think the slider at 01:43:999 (1) - makes the pattern a bit too challenging to play. My suggestion is to make that slider fully horizontal and increase the spacing between it and 01:44:170 (1) - so that the pattern plays smoothly and isn't breaking the flow here.
  9. 01:47:942 (2,3) - Is there a reason these aren't hyperdashed? They are the same sounds as the others, so it's best not to ruin the consistency you have here.
  10. 03:25:999 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - You might want to go about slightly reducing the distances here. If the player starts the pattern too early or late, they will easily miss the rest of the pattern, which should be avoided in a pattern like this.
  11. 03:57:542 (1) - this sound starts on 03:57:370 - . As of right now, it feels too delayed, even though its reinforced by the hitsound.
  12. 04:46:227 (1) - I think you could try extending this slider over the entire "わかり ね"
  13. 04:56:856 (2,1) - an hdash here would benefit the strong bass line that's coming up here.
  14. 05:36:970 (2,1) - Check the distance here quq maybe it's a bit too big!
  15. 05:40:399 (1,2,3) - I think maybe at the end of the map you can emphasize the 1/4 notes a bit rather than keeping the 1/1 pattern. It's the same as in the standard map, and I think it sounds quite nice

that's all, really nice work here:3

00:20:170 (1) - Well it seems good sounds for me since I've seen those kind of cut-off style in various std convert maps, and I would like to save it.
00:20:856 (1,1,2,1) - Personally I love it, same reason as above <_<
00:43:485 (1,1) - Intentional "staccato" style here, this one is needed for the atmosphere change and naturality of gimmick flow.
00:46:228 (2,1) - Not sure about it cuz I've decided to not add any HDashes on this melody.
01:43:827 (1,1,1) - Yoooo, vertical stream, plz enjoy game :( This has good flow with its remixed voice sample. Tap left and dash key together with twice. Easy!
03:25:999 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - If I reduce the distances, then it will be unstable with full dash. Basically this pattern has certain preparation time to get them, so I think players can be adapted at.
03:57:542 (1) - Actually it's based with instrumental sound, not vocal :( So I think it's fine.
04:46:227 (1) - Not my taste though, I would like to keep this.
05:40:399 (1,2,3) - Sounds good but gonna think about this later.

Others have been fixed! Thank you so much!

There, have your well deserved favorite.
I would also give you every star I had... if only I had some ;_;
Dea ex machina
01:57:713 (4) - Did you miss placing a whistle here?
02:10:399 (1) - pls move to x:112 for hyper
02:11:085 (3) - pls move to x:480 for hyper
02:39:028 (3) - x:288? Although it has little effect on play-ability, I think it looks nicer in retrospect to the previous stream
03:28:057 (4) - Did you miss placing a whistle on the last section of this slider?
05:17:770 (4) - I personally feel the finish at the start of the slider doesn't fit at all
05:23:256 (2) - This would play nicer if it was ctrl+g!

Awesome map, can't find much wrong D:

Have a star :D

  1. "dnb" is not necessary in tags because its already in the title x: also maybe add "2nd" as another way to find "second season", and as ascendance said "セレクター" is part of the source in japanese, you could add it in tags too
  2. Do not forget disable the Enable countdown
  3. Maybe combocolours with pink could seems better than with green, i mean feels unrelated to the background

We cry "OPEN"
  1. 00:11:256 - imo the patterns of this section are repetitive, sometimes be repetitive its fine, but here is really noticeable when you play it
  2. 00:20:856 (1) - i think would be better finish this slider in 1/2
  3. 00:21:542 (1) - hm, this whistle feels weird, would be better without hitsound here, another option is add whistle in 00:21:885 (2) - , then feels better
  4. 01:25:313 (1,2,3,4) - the hyper to (3) feels weird, humm, maybe with 01:25:313 (1,3) - ctrl+g? is an interesting pattern too and fit better with the song
  5. 01:39:027 (1,1) - hm the movement feels a bit weird, specially in 01:39:027 (1) - because is like i need use dash to catch the tail or not!? ;A; probaly would be better with more curve in 01:39:027 (1) - , then the players could notice the difference between these sliders, so they will use dash only in 01:39:370 (1) -
  6. 01:40:913 (1,1) - 01:52:399 (2,1) - 02:16:999 (6,7) - 04:43:313 (1,1) - you could add a hyper here (ok, in my hyper criteria there are like 5000 options more but these are important to me)
  7. 01:45:199 (1,2,3,4) - maybe is an error? o.o following what you used to add hyper, clearly 01:45:542 (3) - is a good option, but you even can walk that aaaa try with 01:45:542 (3,4) - ctrl+g... and maybe 01:45:885 (1,2) - ctrl+h (?
  8. 01:47:770 (1,2,3,4,5) - just is a question, you did this before or after see my version? oh wait! is not onlya question, you could add a hyper to 01:47:770 (1) - too aaaaa
  9. 01:56:342 (4,5,6) - i think the hyper feels better to (5) than to (6) following the voice, or the instrument
  10. 02:02:856 (3,4) - maybe only dash? this one feels weird too, if you want to keep a dash here could be to 02:03:199 - i guess :3
  11. 02:06:456 (1,2) - c'mon this is in kiai )': you can add a hard 1/4 hyper here :3
  12. 02:23:427 (2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - maybe there is a lot of time in the same position x.x try with 02:24:456 (1,2,3,4) - ctrl+h
  13. 02:30:285 (1,2) - just for the aesthetic, maybe these sliders a bit more horizontal, like this
  14. 02:35:084 (4,1) - maybe more distance in this hyper? i expected the same as the previous when i tested it :/
  15. 02:44:170 (5,6,7) - dash here would be nice, is almost walkable c.c try with (6) some grids to the right
  16. 02:48:285 (2,3,4) - would be a hard to catch, please (3) some grids to the right x.x
  17. Do you really think 01:55:485 (1) - 03:08:170 (1) - 04:57:885 (1) - are necessary to finish in 1/4? huh i understand those sounds but seems unnecessary, i cant understand how they can change the flow or something o.o
  18. 03:09:542 - missing whistle i guess, oh and 03:20:513 - here(?
  19. 03:25:999 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - yeah i like it, buuut still a bit repetitive, maybe with a hyper to 03:27:370 (1) - ? following the voice of course
  20. usually i dont like suggest big changes but 04:19:485 - 01:17:085 - these sections are so different c.c one of them is hyper in every object and the next has no hypers, that could fit maybe if the first section has not and the second has in every object (to add difficulty progressively between kiais) but in this order just dont fit imo ):
  21. 04:41:427 (1,1) - same as the first kiai
  22. 04:50:170 (1,2,3,4,5) - ^
  23. 05:05:256 (3,4) - ^

Good luck :P

CLSW
00:11:256 - Intentional repetitive one here, sometimes repetitive shape makes good sense imo. I like it.
00:20:856 (1) - Actually this one is connected with the next object, so I'd like to keep as 1/4. 1/2 has too much gap, and 1/8 or 1/16 stack don't make good shape :(
01:40:913 (1,1) - 01:52:399 (2,1) - 02:16:999 (6,7) - 04:43:313 (1,1) - Just a small dash is enough for me, but anyways thanks for the notice wwww
01:45:199 (1,2,3,4) - lol that was intentional, I'd like to add dash movements on 01:45:199 (1,3) - only. It gives more odd style from the regular.
01:47:770 (1) - Hyperdash here seems too much exaggerated imo, I don't want to add double-chained 1/4 Hyperdashes in this map :(
02:02:856 (3,4) - This suggestion makes really really big changes lol, overall flows were ruined so I needed to change everything in this kiai wow
02:06:456 (1,2) - hmm, I don't think it's possible area to add it...
02:35:084 (4,1) - Symmetric design as 02:35:942 (1,2,3,4) - , and the intensity of the song goes lower and lower.
02:44:170 (5,6,7) - Even it's walkable most of people will use dash to be safe :( will you move without dash there during the full combo? Based with common sense.
01:55:485 (1) - 03:08:170 (1) - 04:57:885 (1) - Sure why not? :P
04:41:427 (1,1) - , 04:50:170 (1,2,3,4,5) - Same as above

Rest were fixed, thank you!

General

  1. I think that koli was right about Combo Colour suggestions, CC 2, 3 and 4 are not related with the current BG.
  2. Countdown and letterbox please. (lazyness?)

We cry "OPEN"

  1. 00:15:370 (1,2) - only to make this more aesthetic, I'll give you two options, Ctrl+G or move 00:15:542 (2) - to x:144
  2. 00:16:742 (1,2) - there isn't a strong sound or something similar that deserve hyper dash, it would be better if you move the hyperdash between 00:16:913 (2,3) -.
  3. 00:20:856 (1,1) - Ok, I was reading previous mods and I see that you like such 1/4 pattern. Sounds good to be honest, but next part could be improved a bit, for example: what do you think about 00:21:885 (2) - on x:112? and then 00:22:227 (1) - press Ctrl+H, it's basically the same movement but to the opposite, looks better imo.
  4. 00:32:513 (1) - add more curve, it will be a nice prelude to the next hyperdash, furthermore, I feel that you can reduce a bit the distance of such hyperdash, only a bit to become more confortable, around 8.44x might looks nicer, something similar as 00:43:485 (1,1) -
  5. 00:46:228 (2,1) - Why reduce the distance of your pattern? to be consistant, I detect that you were adding distances around 2.50x every 8 fruits ( 00:44:856 (2,1) - 00:48:113 (8,1) - 00:48:970 (2,1) - 00:50:685 (4,1) - etc ) so increase the distance a bit?
  6. 01:03:370 (1) - I will be very happy if you decided to change this slider cause the return on 01:04:056 - looks pretty nice, but I can't say the same on 01:04:742 -, looks awkward.
  7. 01:11:599 (1) - it's time to back to the right imo, 01:08:856 (1,1,1,1) - looks overloaded leftward
  8. from 01:17:085 - to 01:22:570 - this part is very confusing and logical at the same time, I'll explain why, with 01:17:085 (1,2,3) - it looks like you were increasing the distance on each object gradually, and from 01:21:199 - you decrease the distance but not gradually at this section, if I was right please the distance between 01:21:199 (1,2) - should be around 2.70x, in the other hand it comes the confusing part, because at first impression looks like you miss a hyperdash between 01:17:427 (2,3) - and 01:21:199 (1,2) -. Don't you?
  9. 01:39:370 (1,1) - why 1/4? you decided to make an 1/2 pattern in the previous measure to good effect ( 01:33:885 (2,1) - ).
  10. 01:37:142 (1) - remove, make it horizontally or copy 01:37:485 (3) - and paste, looks much better at x:168
  11. 01:40:056 (3,4,1) - transition here is too straigh, I hope that you will change 01:39:370 (1) - and rearrange 01:39:713 (1,2,3,4,1) -.
  12. 01:41:599 (2) - is it really necessary? looks much better if you remove such note and add 1 more reverse to 01:41:256 (1) -, only to make this more aesthetic, also 01:40:913 (1,1) - they are too close and looks ugly :'( this is more my taste but I really like confortable and beautiful patterns, I strongly recommend you to add the following advices:
1.- 01:40:913 (1) - press Ctrl+H and move to the previous position ( x:192 ) or tilt this slider to the right. (both are the same)
2.- 01:41:256 (1) - same as above but the opposite, press ctrl+H or tilt to the left, and move to x:136.
  13. 01:59:427 (1) - you were following instrumental and suddenly you changed into voice, it doesn't sound nicer, but it's true that voice is more prominent here, so if you were following voice you should do the same with next patterns to be consistant, the following advices will be based on structure, I'll leave jumps and movements to you:
1.- 01:59:942 (2,3) - would be better if you change both notes into 1 slider to follow voice better.
2.- 02:00:456 (5,6) - remenber that I'm talking about structure, so press Ctrl+G because I feel that slider should be first, also you can make a good mirrored pattern with my previous advice ^.
  14. 02:05:942 (4) - I have two reasons to move this slider to x:144, the first one is about consistency with 02:04:913 (1,2) -, the second one is 'cause I'd prefer a smoother transition from a restful rhythm to a stronger rhythm, so I think that increasing the distance gradually in order at 02:05:942 (4,5,1) - will be more confortable for players.
  15. 03:29:770 (5,6) - distance is too long and hard to catch imo (well this is the main idea of rain and overdoses), anyways... looks much better if you move 03:29:770 (5) - to x:208 and 03:29:942 (6) - to x:304, I'm keeping the main idea of your pattern, I only want to make this part more clean.
  16. 04:03:027 (1,1) - I'm sure that this could be improved, the current movement is too straight, it makes this part a bit bored.
  17. 04:39:542 (1,2) - you forgot the hyperdash, right? take a look at 01:37:142 (1,2) - as a reference, also I gave you an advice on this part, will be better if you keep consistency, for example 04:39:542 (1) - tilt to the left.
  18. 04:41:770 (1,1) - first and third kiai are equal with some exception, but literally the same, so I recommend you to apply the same advice as I gave you on 01:39:370 -
  19. 05:19:484 (7,8) - same as 03:29:770 (5,6) - reduce the distance into 1.00x

Timing points

  1. Unuseful green lines: 01:35:256 - 01:35:599 - 01:39:370 - 01:39:713 - 01:46:570 - 01:46:913 - (to be honest I feel that you forgot to change samplesets).
  2. 03:57:627 - same here, if I'm not wrong, should be Custom2 here, if not remove, 03:57:542 - is enough.

Hope to help you! kudosu if it deserve!

CLSW
00:16:742 (1) - This one is on the very beginning of new measure bar(actually with the pattern style changes), and still I think it makes sense as the HDash with minimum distances.
01:03:370 (1) - I don't think this one is awkward :(
01:11:599 (1) - Ctrl + H'ed this 01:16:399 (1) - one to make the overall balance of left side and right side instead of your suggestion.
01:17:085 - to 01:22:570 - Blame the HDash system nowadays, it's impossible to make a strict distance rule due to the timing jump issues for this part :(:(:(:(:( I've tried to do with total 3 other shapes but those aren't make sense in distances and designs ofc.
01:39:370 (1) - This is for giving an accent.
01:40:056 (3,4,1) - Nothing is wrong for me. This one has straight left movement, the HDash distance logic doesn't fit with here.
01:41:599 (2) - I don't think this one is ugly though :( and also I wanted to add a small distance between 01:41:542 - 01:41:599 - .
01:59:427 (1) - Nope, this part follows the vocal and instruments together. If you had some testplays you'll know the HDash flows placed on every vocal sounds, and any other small jumps are following the instruments. There's no rule to follow something only one element of music, since you guys already tried to add hitsounds for instruments or some kinda additional sounds to rearrange the music yourself :/ Hitsounds are the part of the music I think.
02:05:942 (4) - The vocal pitches are way pretty high for here, and this is deserved to get longer HDash. And this map is for approved, difficulty setting can be free. I don't think this one is uncomfortable for players and even if it's uncomfortable then I can say it could be a challenge-able pattern though. Some 'uncomfortable' patterns are also important to make players' skill better imo.
03:29:770 (5,6) - Here is the jump with 4 spaces, and it's gonna be pretty easy as pie for Overdose players. Well actually the anti-flow jump after 1/4 HDash could be harsh, but I think the timing window is pretty generous as OD7 100 point in std :3
04:41:770 (1,1) - and 05:19:484 (7,8) - Same as above things.

Thank you very much, this was a good overhaul for me!

2016-05-30 01:59 CLSW: fixed some more with 00:44:170 (1) -
2016-05-30 02:00 Ascendance: cool cool
2016-05-30 02:00 Ascendance: 00:46:228 (2,1) - are you sure you don't wanna hdash here or at least add a bit of distance for the increased sound?
2016-05-30 02:01 CLSW: yep
2016-05-30 02:01 CLSW: it wasnt'
2016-05-30 02:02 Ascendance: 00:48:970 (2) - maybe make this one a ( shape for a more curved flow out of 00:48:285 (1) - ? Double stacks here seems a bit bland
2016-05-30 02:03 CLSW: oh sure
2016-05-30 02:04 Ascendance: 00:51:713 (2) - same here\:D/
2016-05-30 02:05 CLSW: okay
2016-05-30 02:07 Ascendance: 01:43:827 (1,1) - the double stack flow here seems a bit choppy, maybe making one of the two (or both) more horizontal for a better playing into 01:44:170 (1) - would be beneficial here?
2016-05-30 02:08 CLSW: I would like to give accent on there
2016-05-30 02:08 CLSW: so nope :3
2016-05-30 02:08 Ascendance: okok~
2016-05-30 02:09 Ascendance: 01:52:399 (2) - with the more wide stack here, kinda looks a bit odd, maybe you could consider making a C-shape stream that curves in back to 01:52:742 (1) - ?
2016-05-30 02:10 CLSW: hmm
2016-05-30 02:10 Ascendance: is more just a stylistic thing
2016-05-30 02:12 CLSW: okay done :3
2016-05-30 02:12 Ascendance: :3
2016-05-30 02:12 Ascendance: 02:13:999 (5,6,7) - really reccomend to lowering the distances here a bit between these notes, if the catcher is a bit too late, you'll end up missing the last fruit, so reducing here would help create a bit of safety for the catcher
2016-05-30 02:14 CLSW: hmm
2016-05-30 02:14 Ascendance: No need to reduce that much, but just a few grid would be helpful
2016-05-30 02:15 CLSW: okay done
2016-05-30 02:15 Ascendance: 02:39:028 (3) - no sound here >w> best to just end the stream on 02:38:942 -
2016-05-30 02:18 CLSW: fine fine :3
2016-05-30 02:18 Ascendance: :3
2016-05-30 02:19 Ascendance: 04:31:485 (4,1) - seems REALLY high distance, maybe add a note at 04:31:656 - at x:256 and shorten the gap between each note to alleviate this a bit?
2016-05-30 02:20 Ascendance: adding a note there since the noise in between peaks its volume so
2016-05-30 02:21 CLSW: I understand, reduced a bit :3
2016-05-30 02:21 Ascendance: alright
2016-05-30 02:21 Ascendance: It's all I really have, unless there's something you want to go over with me before I bubble
2016-05-30 02:22 CLSW: okay let me update soon
2016-05-30 02:22 CLSW: after some taking a look
2016-05-30 02:22 Ascendance: sure
2016-05-30 02:23 Ascendance: poke me when you're ready
2016-05-30 02:32 CLSW: yo updated
2016-05-30 02:33 Ascendance: no diff name change i assume then?
2016-05-30 02:34 Ascendance: also i forgot to mention, move the preview point back by 1/4 so we can hear the beginning of the lyric
2016-05-30 02:35 CLSW: oh I forgot
2016-05-30 02:35 Ascendance: whee
2016-05-30 02:37 Ascendance: tell me again when ready
2016-05-30 02:39 CLSW: alright updated :3

Placeholding~
Might not icon as the map's too hard for me ;-;

Alright lets do this.

[General]
  1. Looking good :D
[I wish you don't cry]
  1. Note that these are merely my assumptions if I mention something about movement. My skills aren't too good to evaluate an overdose's movement, so bare with me :w
  2. 01:20:856 (3) - While I do understand the high distance on 01:20:170 (2) - , I don't get this one being on higher distance than the previous note. Besides, the distance here might be a little bit too hard considering the mood of the section, so I would bring down the distance to at least 5.6-7x, keeping the hyper in tact.
  3. 01:54:113 (1,2) - I believe (2) could be separated into 3 circles, to give more emphasis right before the chorus.
  4. 04:22:570 (2) - To give equal emphsis like the previous similar part, I would increase the distance on this note by .4x or so.
These are just tiny little things I found in the map. I don't feel too confident enough to push this forward as I might have missed some harder movements to point out.
Throwing in some stars to compensate for this, GL!

Also I fixed some parts with cleaner myself.

and increased AR to 9.4.

Alright here I go with the re-check.
I wish I don't cry cause of my poor re-checks xD

[I wish you don't cry]
  1. 00:10:570 (2) - Why not add a whistle onto the head of this slider for consistency?
  2. 00:41:428 (1) - While the piano's sound isn't too high or anything, I believe that this note deserves the same or more distance than 00:38:685 (1,1) - these did as the piano's pitches are both the same, but this circle has a strong vocal on top of that to support a higher distance.
  3. 01:24:627 (3,4) - This is a build-up section, yet these are having the highest distance among all the notes, when they are not in the pinnacle of the build-up. It just feels really weird to have a screen-jump on a relatively weaker notes, so I would instead swap (2) and (3)'s place to instead reflect on the snares, and not to create an extreme dash. Even the first kiai didn't include this kinds of dash if I remember correctly lol
  4. 03:55:485 (1) - While the rhythm's cool and all, I believe the strong vocal's stress on 'End' on the repeat of this slider is too good to be left with just a repeat - I believe it could be a single circle with distance increment to emphasize more on this.
  5. 05:29:427 (1) - Seems like you didn't place any Normal addition finish here as the song's fading out, but the clockwork's sound is clearly heard in the background, and since you've been adding normal finishes onto all of those sounds, I don't see why you should go off consistency here. I would recommend you to add a finish with Normal addition.
Call me back.
