"Night Hunter" - the 6th track from Vesuvia Project (Ecky P.)'s 1st doujin album 'Lonely Night'.

(yup, this beatmap has been submitted with Vesuvia Project's full consent and support as i've been acquainted with Vesuvia himself irl hehe (✿❛◡❛))

the story behind this map
i first met Ecky P. himself years ago on Gelar Jepang Universitas Indonesia (GJUI)'s Doujin Market stand, in where Vesuvia Project's debut album "Lonely Night" was being premiered. interested in it, i bought the album personally (which consists of orchestral arrangements from Touhou songs) and exchanged contacts and name cards with him.

i left the album for a good while above my PC desk, nearly leaving it into oblivion until a certain osu! player one day brought up the name "Vesuvia Project" on #indonesian. to my surprise it turned out that he knows Vesuvia Project quite well on a personal level, and therefore i contacted the composer and he's very delighted that i'm interested in mapping this song.

thanks to everyone in the Vesuvia Project for their kindness and their full support -- having ranked this is truly a privilege for me, and it would be very much appreciated if you could enjoy this mapset as well! o(^-^)o

this zip contains pics and hitsound with the song and hitsound only ver and all hitsound.wavs I used

things to note:

(it's way time consuming to remove your hitsound in editor and reset them so I did this in FL)
1. I didn't much spend time on balancing volumes between hitsounds, you might have to adjust yourself if necessary
2. I hope the pics are clear enough, along with the hitsound only ver.mp3. If you have further questions about the arrangement just ask me
3. I'm not absolutely sure of the compatibility of this set of hitsound with the default hit-normal sound you used. I didn't try it in osu! editor
4. You can still leave the soft whislte sound you used and add it somewhere for fun and variety. I didn't find good places for it but I think I'd have some ideas when I'm doing hitsound in the editor
5. ofc you can do some changes. just take this as a reference

Oh my...

Really thank you for this one... Really, REALLY thank you!! I decided to continue tweaking from my current hitsound though, not from scratch (because of the lower diffs' rhythm) and use yours as a reference, as I don't think I've reached your level of hitsounding (yet) though~

Anyway I'm working on it now and much more pleased now, again thank you very much!
