Hi CBH,

here is some modding help for you

First add some tags from the Anime and Artist.

Easy:

00:16:566 no new combo, it looks ok to go on till 5.
The rest is good.

Normal:

Circle Size 3 would be better for my opinion.
01:01:335 to 01:01:566 line it up so the overlapping feels smoother.
Everythink else looks fine.

Hard:

00:54:873 if the slider ends at 00:55:104 it sounds more in the rythm of the song. You can add a circle on 00:55:335 if you like.

I like the starway sliders, it gives a nice flowing through the map, and the circle in the end are good placed over all.

Insane:

00:38:258 the stream at this part feels a little to linear, maybe you can add a little curve.

00:59:950 new combo
The rest is very good, I love this difficulty. The jumps are good placed and it makes fun to play, keep on going.

Overall:

00:53:489 in every difficulty the KiaiTime sounds a little too loud, maybe you can change it to 65%.
Change the combo colours in Easy, Normal, Hard like you did in Insane to every mode.
You can line up many parts in your beatmap to make them look more cemetery.

    With 00:19:632 - 's suggestion , just for reference , I most recommend like this :
    It can keep all in 1/1 beat and follow vocal and important piano voice simultaneously.

00:25:632 (1,2,3) - Considering this is an Insane, why not make proper jumps here. This diff could be a harder in my opinion.
00:47:324 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - This doesnt really fits with the song in my opinion. Maybe if you move 00:48:247 (4) - to here: 00:48:017 - .And maybe add a reverse to this slider:00:46:401 (2) - removing the circle here ofc:00:47:324 (1) - .
00:59:094 (6,7) - I think you should add more jumps like this. This whole diff is quiet easy for me and Im an average player.
01:05:786 (1,1,1,1) - If you added new combos just for the increase of SV, I think is not necessary, because is too subtle.
01:14:555 (8) - I think you should replace by 3 circles, there isnt any sound that justify adding stuff to the blue ticks here.
01:19:401 (3,4) - I know you wanna keep symmetry, but this looks messy, you messed up the distance, maybe you can find a way to keep symmetry and spacing.
Overall, I think you should make this diff more challenging, I d see this more like a Hard to be honest.

00:15:514 (1) - would recommend removing this note, if you do so rhythm will be more balanced afterwards and this may be confusing since before you always waited until the downbeat (large white tick) before coming in with vocal

While it's not a huge issue with this map, keep in mind that hitbursts do still stay for a bit, and may make some things confusing to read. In your future maps, try to avoid things like 00:52:437 (3,2) - , 00:22:899 (3,2,4,2,4) - , and 01:14:591 (4,2) - , where the hitburst from the first note or notes will cover up the later ones.

Ok, so I read what you said to Lizbeth about wanting this to be a calm insane. That's fine, however this map is very unbalanced, as much of it plays pretty much like a hard diff, and then is interrupted by relatively huge jumps that don't fit well. I'm going to try and help you keep this a calm insane, while making the map overall more balanced and still feel like an insane rather than a higher sv hard.

00:01:668 (3,5) - I'm not too sure about these repeats, since they cover up the higher notes in the melody at 00:02:130 - and 00:03:053 - . I would recommend changing both into this rhythm.
What you can do with these circles after the slider, is break distance spacing with them. You can do this because the slider allows the player to move past them before it has actually ended. If you keep a circle in the same 1.0 spacing after the slider, it will feel just a little too slow since the player will be moving faster than the actual sv. I would recommend somewhere between 1.2x and 1.4x spacing for the circle.

00:04:437 (2) - you can also break distance spacing with this note, since it is a slider surrounded by other sliders. Try putting this at x272 y72, it will give a nice pattern and play very well.

00:07:668 (1) - if you're going to have an anchor in this slider, I think you should move it to the left a bit so it's more noticeable.

00:09:976 (5,6) - try to reverse this rhythm, and put some more space between them. this way, it will accent the vocal at 00:10:207 - with a click and a small break in spacing.

00:59:130 (6) - this note is what I was talking about, with the unbalanced jumps. nothing else in this diff is like this, so bring this closer in, like x252 y148. It will still play like a jump, just not as sudden.

00:59:591 (8,9,10,11,12,1) - the flow going into this stream is rather bad, since the player has to jump backwards to get to the stream, and then goes the other direction, and it doesn't feel natural. try flipping the stream like this, it feels much nicer

01:01:207 (4,5) - same as the first in the kiai, increase spacing so that it's more interesting since the slider will be lenient

01:03:514 (1) - this repeat slider is very anti climatic, I think having three circles here arranged in a small jump will much better fit this high point in the vocal.

01:06:283 (2,4) - move these two to the right together, to improve the flow and make the back and forth motion more natural

01:12:976 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) - this whole section just doesn't play very well to me. it starts with an awkward jump 01:12:514 (4,1) - , into odd placement of circles that go against the flow of the jump01:12:976 (1,2,3) - , another awkwardly large jump at 01:13:668 (4,5) - , and then the rhythm in the last notes 01:14:591 (8,9,10,11) - is hard to see with all of the approach circles. Plus the whole thing being circles is inconsistent with the rest of the kiai. Please consider redoing this part and avoiding all of these things.

01:18:283 (7,1) - another unfitting jump, while it is the peak of the vocal this is just too much compared to the rest of the diff, please move 7 upwards to make this much smoother to play.

01:20:822 (2,3,4) - this is very very awkward, with varying spacing of circles along the same line. try to have angles between circles like this, so that the player has some solid point to hit before moving to the next, instead of an awkward anti-jump like this

Wow, this is pretty much. I'll read it if i have time. But there are a few points where i dont understand why i should change them.
I mean, You might find it ugly, but it is my mapping style and i think it looks pretty nice. But thats the difference :)

I found Hard and Insane pretty alike if we talk about how difficult they are. Insane looks more like a Hard to me, to be honest, Hard is alright.

  1. 00:15:283 (10,11,12,13,14) - These are absolutely being over-mapped. I can only hear clear sounds at 00:15:283 ; 00:15:514 and 00:15:745. So, I suggest just putting circles on these three places.
  2. 00:30:053 (4) - ^
  3. As an Insane, I would suggest placing circles or sliders to capture those drums on red lines, e.g. 00:38:822, 00:40:668 , etc. This can give a smooth flow for players to hit their keyboards, but not stop, wait, and go.
  4. 00:38:130 (1) - The flow here sounds not aesthetic. You can either move the slider head to (340,92) or make these 4 circles doing a blanket with 00:37:437 (2) if you really want to maintain the symmetry pattern.
  5. 00:50:591 (5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6) - I think streams are suitable here. However, you place a reversed slider which is nearest to the kiai time. I think a better way to approach the kiai time is something like this:
  6. NC can be chopped to a shorter one every 4 white lines imo, e.g. NC at 00:03:053 (7) , 00:54:745 (5) , etc.
  7. 00:59:822 (9,10,11,12) - I wonder if there are obvious sounds for you to place streams here.
  8. 01:06:283 (2,3,4) - NC for indicating the change in SV.
  9. 01:12:976 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - This pattern sounds a bit random.
  10. 01:21:514 (5) - NC for the jump.
  11. 01:23:822 (5,6) - Blanket sounds nice and keep the same style as 01:24:283 (6,7) .
  12. I would say this Insane is something like Hard+, coz there are not many jumps, tricky placements, and many (intentional) stops which don't capture the apparent drum sounds.

Hard

  1. AR+1 OD+2 Since the song is only 130 BPM, increasing the difficulty by OD+2 is a nice idea and AR+1 is for better readability.
  2. 00:02:591 (4) - I suppose the spacing of this slider is the same as that of 00:01:207 (1,2,3) .
  3. 00:06:745 (8) - NC please. (I suggest you have a specific NC pattern like every four white lines, etc. So, I will skip NC stuff below.)
  4. 00:08:591 - Every single object is SLIGHTLY overlapped with the previous one. It looks a bit weird to me, you could move each one of them a bit to avoid such overlaps. Use somethilg like x1.05 DS here (alt+shift+mouse wheel)
  5. 00:15:283 (6) - Same as Insane. Over-mapping here.

Easy

  1. In fact, same issue as Normal could be found in Easy. Blanket perfectly. Consider the flow carefully. Therefore, I just go through this diff quickly and point out some important points.
  2. I don't know whether a SV change would be too difficult in an EZ, but it is definitely rare to see this technique. So, I suggest you using only one slider velocity.
  3. 00:19:207 (4,1) - Stack is clearly way too hard in EZ.
  4. 00:49:207 (1) - Leave some time for newbies to prepare for the next hit object. You can either shorten the spinner or delete this: 00:51:514 (1) .
  5. 00:54:283 (3,4) - Overlapping.
  6. 00:57:053 (2) - This circle cannot be clearly noticed because 00:55:207 (4) has covered much of its area.
  7. 01:09:514 (3) - Make it symmetry along Y-axis?

Ganz sicher, dass der originale Songtitel (TV Size) hat? In dem Ranking Criteria Forum ist darüber bereits eine Diskussion im Gange.
Ein paar Tags würden nicht schaden.

[Insane]
  1. 00:08:360 (2,1,2) - Flow könnte besser sein, wenn du 00:08:591 (1,2) - unterhalb von 00:08:360 (2) - platzierst. (also vllt. 00:08:591 (1,2) - auf ca. X: 244 Y: 224). Alternativ könntest du auch einfach 00:08:822 (2,4) - um 45° nach rechts drehen.
  2. 00:22:899 (7,1) - Der Übergang fühlt sich seltsam mit dem weiteren Verlauf an. Vllt (7) einfach spiegeln?
  3. 00:27:053 (1) - auf X: 308 Y: 320. Dadurch ergibt sich für 00:25:668 (1,2,3,1) - eher ein Trapez und 00:27:053 (1,2,3,4) - sieht schöner aus, hat auch einen schönen Flow.
  4. 00:34:899 (3,4) - X: 216 Y: 72. Ergibt einen besseren Übergang von (1,2)
  5. 00:38:130 (1,2) - bei sowas bin ich sehr kleinlich ... sollte absolut symmetrisch aussehen meiner Meinung nach

  7. 00:51:283 (2,3,4) - hier fände ich etwas Bewegung besser als die 3 zu stapeln, weil 00:50:591 (5,6,7,8,1) - bereits so ein langer Stapel ist und 00:51:283 (2,3,4) - auf diesem "Aufladeton" liegt ... kann es nicht besser beschreiben
  8. 00:56:130 (9) - strg + h? Einen Sprung bei 00:55:899 (8,9) - fände ich besser als zu stapeln
  9. 00:59:130 (6,7) - gefällt mir vom Flow nicht gut ... aber ich habe auch keinen guten Vorschlag parat. Am ehesten würde für (6,7) (7) auf X: 152 Y: 328
    passen allerdings wäre dann (7,8,9) komisch ... naja vllt fällt dir was ein.
  10. 01:01:899 (6,7) - sieht etwas unschön aus. (7) auf auf die selbe Y-Koordinate wie das Ende von (6) bringen wenn du bei (6) 2x strg + g anwendest, ändert sich der Slider nicht aber der Endpunkt liegt genau auf der richtigen Stelle oder weiter unterhalb, damit die Sliderkurve von (7) um das Ende von (6) schmiegt.
  11. 01:08:130 (3) - weiter nach links damit 01:07:668 (1,2,3,4,5) - eine schöne Kurve ( bilden. Korrigiere dann natürlich auch (6,7)
  12. 01:15:283 - ich weiß, worauf 01:15:053 (1,2) - liegen sollen (auf der Stimme) aber besser spielt es sich mit einer weiteren Note hier.
  13. 01:26:591 (2) -strg+g und 01:27:514 (4,5) - strg + g, passt irgendwie besser zur Musik ...
[Hard]
  1. Naja ... ich würde OD auf 6 stellen, weil Insane bereits 7 hat
  2. 00:06:745 (8) - finde, die Kombo wird zu lang, mach lieber einen NC hier. Ich weiß, du hast die gesamte Kombo auf die Stimme ausgerichtet aber über die ganze Map verteilt, wirkt das eher unkoordiniert
  3. 00:39:053 (2) - strg + g ? hat einen schöneren Übergang von (1) ... naja der zu (3) leidet dann, könnte aber auch behoben werden
  4. 00:57:283 (2) - würde hier ebenfalls strg + g empfehlen aber zu (3) entsteht dann ein zu großer Sprung :/
Bin mit der NC Verteilung nicht 100% zufrieden aber das wäre jetzt zu umständlich über alles zu diskutieren, eine generelle Verteilung über die Downbeats würde vllt. besser passen als komplett auf Stimme zu gehen. 8/1 oder 4/1 Beats also ..

  1. 00:47:360 (3) - wieso hier keinen 3-Punkt bogen Slider?
  2. 01:15:053 (1,2,3,4) - Dieser Bereich sieht nicht wirklich so schön aus, wie der Rest der Map

  1. 00:49:207 (1,1) - Der Zeitabstand zwischen den beiden ist vllt etwas wenig und durch die niedrige AR ist sowas auch verwirrend zu spielen für Anfänger.
  2. 00:55:207 (4,1,2) - gar nicht schön D:, (4) und (2) überlappen sich eklig.
Das war es auch schon, muss sagen, dass sich dein Mapping über die Zeit sehr sehr stark verbessert hat.
Hab nix gravierendes gefunden, ist eigentlich alles sehr erbsenzählerisch gehalten

Bin jetzt nicht auf Hitsounds eingegangen, die waren vllt zum Teil etwas leise aber mich hat in dem Bereich nichts gestört wirklich außer in Hard:
01:20:130 (4,1,2) - ... klingt Laut und der Clap zu unpassend ...

  1. 00:03:053 (7,8) - don't feel like a stack is necessary here
