Yay, playtested and talked on IRC about a certain slider in hard which got converted to 1/6, along with some general suggestions. Also added AR+1 to normal so it fits the map better and corrected missing claps, along with fixing a relatively short spinner!

  • Since this is the more easiest diff in this mapset, AR4 will be more consistent with the other diff settings, trust me.
    00:49:922 (4) NC for consistency with the Hard diff.
    01:31:204 (5,6) I'll keep telling at all the mappers, it's really hard to see in easy/normal diffs the circles when they're stacked under sliders, 'cuz they (Players) really fail to read this.
    02:03:769 (5) Same as 00:49:922

consider adding "opening" in the tags. this is an opening in the anime.
think you can make the BG clearer? it looks a bit blurry here IMO.

why is the 2nd kiai continuing? the kiai should be the same unless there's a GD in the map, but since, you mapped parts of the collab, it has to be the same.
00:12:487 (1) - maybe reduce this slider by 1/2 and adding a circle at the downbeat. the circle should be a NC because the instrumental changes. the slider shouldn't be an NC because the instrumental is connected from the previous note.
00:16:589 (8) - how about replacing this for a 1/2 slider to follow every bit of the vocals in the song?
00:24:281 (7) - add a clap at the repeat arrow to give off a nice clap pattern in the map. i think it plays nicely during gameplay.
00:32:487 (5,6) - replace this for a 1/2 repeat slider to follow both the vocals and instrumental. the beginning follows the vocals and the repeat and end follow the instrumental.
00:40:692 (4) - same as 00:16:589.
00:54:281 (3) - add a whistle here to match the instrumental in the song. since you have a finish at the next note, i think adding a whistle here would fit as it matches the instrumental nicely.

01:03:256 (4) - remove the repeat on this slider. the lyrics change at the end of this slider, which leads to a NC, so add a circle there and make it a NC for that purpose.

00:44:794 (4) - put this below (2) like you did on (1,3). the pattern would make sense during gameplay. i looks odd seeing something like that during gameplay IMO.
01:01:461 (1) - remove 1 repeat. it doesn't fit with the song at all. made me feel uncomfortable hitting that slider.
01:16:589 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - same as 00:23:256.
02:21:204 (5) - follow the DS for this. it looks oddly spaced out.

  1. Switch ComboColour2 with ComboColour3, unless you have a specific reason. ComboColour3 and ComboColour4 look fairly similar to the colourblind player.
[Hard]
  1. 01:08:384 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1) - Phrasing this as 6/4, 6/4, 4/4 doesn't work. You either use 4/4, 4/4, 4/4, 4/4, or 8/4, 8/4. The music doesn't suggest a new section at 01:09:153 (4) - and it doesn't matter if your combo pattern fits with the music; the pattern itself has to, also.
Completely unrelated: anyone else notice 02:01:461 - sounds like mother chode?

i've verified this with sakura - the version being sent out for download is indeed the unchanged version. (binary equal with kdiff3) could you try resubmitting your map with the changes again?

your submission may be failing, or there might be some insidious issue with the BSS that needs fixing.

this map has a weirdly pleasant spread as well.. normal-hard is quite unusual to see. what's stopping you from including an insane?

Seems like there's a submission mistake, since I actually changed the colours, gonna fix that again.

Also, this song doesn't call for an Insane, BPM is too low to make it.
