Didn't nerf spacing a ton but moved the slider so the movement there is less intense and more flowy, I want a decent amount of punch there as the song starts to pick up again ahead of the kiai
the vocal is still held almost all the way through the 1/1 slider, at most a 3/4 slider might also work but I prefer the way 1/1 works with the held vocals. It's also done consistently on 01:21:668 (1) - 01:24:335 (1) -
even if distance is higher, the 1/2 sliders are way less intense than the triples that come after. the large distance helps pick up movement speed and helps the buildup more imo
there is a reaaally faint kick on 03:21:912 - but it's so overblown by the other drums around it that when I tried mapping it it felt off more than anything, I'll keep as is for now
But I added some hs on the repeats
I know it's pretty spicy and was fully aware when making it, but since the top diff is on the upper echelon of Insane diffs I felt it was more fitting for the spread to have it be a denser Hard diff.
I'm open to changing it if it's seen as an issue by more people but I think it's fine in its current form personally
I personally really dislike hitsounds on ends of 1/2 sliders since they're not actively mapped and don't have the same impact as a 1/1 slider, but I can definitely add kicks on the ends of triples like 00:25:918 (5) - 00:28:899 (5) - etc and on both the kicksliders on 00:27:036 (1,2) -
I actually was thinking about this shortly after making the map and ended up instead with removing the jumpstreams. They just don't jize great with the difficulty of the rest of the map and I'd rather not just buff the rest to compensate
decreased spacing on 00:28:935 (3,4,5,6,7,8) - for the lower pitch but 00:29:601 (9,10,11) - feels pretty appropriate spacing wise to me as it picks up more there (i also made it more wide angle-y)
to clarify what actually changed with timing, there was a time sig change around 00:25:101 - instead and there's a -20 offset applied between 00:41:080 - and 01:13:100 -
I had to unsnap a bunch of greenlines to fix this properly (I FUCKING LOVE ROUNDING IN OSU TIMING) but everything should be fine now
the catch set's timing is what I ended up using, it uses a -20 on that section and in general looked correct to me. Should fix that part feeling early while not screwing up the other sections
yeah I was trying to do more of a buildup but I don't think its as successful when the notes are spaced out like this. Kicksliders would feel weird imo when other similar spots just used 1/1 gaps so I'll keep circles but I'll tune up the spacing a lot on the hits with cymbals
00:42:672 (3) - done
00:43:005 & 00:59:005 - done
00:39:005 - prefer to just add a soft whistle over a normal-hitnormal being there too
00:45:089 (2,3,4) - woops
00:46:339 - normal hitclap instead
DS is mostly fine, AiMod can suck my nuts. I reduced the gap on 00:30:006 (2,3) - a bit but it's motly fine as long as the visual spacing is visually not distinguishable which it is throughout the diff
