if you want to delete something at least be transparent and talk to me about it, i am a member of the community like any other, it's like you expect me to act differently but don't tell me what is wrong
also, stop running from your responsabilities and negating our past just because you feel like it, talk to me like the woman you are, this is becoming ridiculous
i still think the point you are trying to make doesn't really represent how the section goes. sure the movement is barely existent but you compensate it with the one of the most dense parts of the map. you literally don't stop clicking 1/2s from 00:34:189 - to 00:40:514 -, it's not really changing much if we are talking about intensity, which is what -aqua was tryna say i guess
this could be easily fixed if you tried to use a few sliders in the middle of those sections like they did on the light insane i think, it won't make the section stop highlighting the guitar suddenly, it will still be the major focus
NCs don't have to be consistent, even if it was the case, we are not doing the same thing, we are even varying in movement/spacing in different parts of the stream, making it the same would make no sense
it felt as tough as the other sections i mentioned for me, i actually felt like i was jumping and not just flowing smoothly through the piano sounds.
it is fine that you have a concept but i'd try to get opinions of testplayers because i'm saying this mostly as a player than a bn trying to hard dq your map or something, it's cool on it's own, just a little overdone
disagree that 01:01:703 - as d would align with the vocals better, they are higher pitched
01:02:233 - okay, done
01:07:350 - that would be so lame, i don't like mapping to nothing, i'd rather apply your first point and follow instrumental "more accurately"
it's still an issue considering how 00:09:502 (3,4) - and 00:10:765 (3,4) - are still being represented in a totally different way when the gaps are the same, having different gaps with the same visual spacing on an advanced diff (00:09:186 (2,3,4) -) is not recommended at all
for reference https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/1061572/discussion/2248744/timeline#/1830716 was also changed but it's super minor so i didn't list it in the main post
like, i get that the point is not really to follow things super accurately and the mapper simplifies a considerable amount of sounds, those just felt too disconnected in any playback rate for me
wouldn't be a major dq though since timing stuff floats a lot since the audio update
i just wanna add that the part where you guys say that it can be changed by a gmt or a nat member makes absolutely no sense as the guideline exists to make genre searchable ingame and not in the site so it would change literally nothing because you can't edit the .osu files
the idea behind "Novelty" as a tag for vocaloid stuff disappeared for good and i even think noffy changed those cases for previously ranked maps, examples being https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/1097446#osu/2293174 https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/1073331#osu/2260818 https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/957139#osu/2295645. the statement that it causes no harm is quite false when people are going out of their way to get rid of it
https://trynna.s-ul.eu/W9cmViY2 https://trynna.s-ul.eu/SK9DaGdv not in the mood for passive-aggressiveness
some mappers indeed use both in case people mess up the spelling
what happens here is for the movement. 04:05:154 (4,5,1) - is a straight pattern so keeping the same spacing or even increasing would be too harsh, i'd rather emphasize it with a smaller spacing to also balance things out and it stands out visually aswell
