Reduced the density of the little bursts, but the jump and split trills are kind of the gimmick of this map for these sections, so I will leave them, as I personally enjoy those patterns
My mapping tends to over emphasize "build up" sections in music. Instead of having jumps represent the certain note changes in these streams, I will make it a single note stream with some pattern instead of jumps.
So it seems that while I was focusing really hard on my visuals and their consistency (something I've lacked in a lot for a long time), I've neglected to add contrast to the map, which is also something people have commented on in the past.
I'll try to fix the contrast, but would you say that my visuals and their consistency are at a rankable level? Or does it still need improvement?
Seems about right. Although I thought my visual consistency was pretty good here, but maybe that's just bc my visual consistency in past maps have just been so bad that this map looks good to me lol. Will try my best to work on it.
